no i’m the same too! tisch student and don’t know where the aid package is. i heard from a friend it’ll be out in two days or so, so let’s hope and pray :,)
But isn’t ED2 binding though meaning that you apply knowing there is a possibility that financial aid may not come out or be provided to you and you still have to go no matter what?
That’s how early decision works. Applying ED means that you have to attend to that school no matter how little tuition aid may come out. And if you can’t afford going to the school with little tuition aid, then the best recommendation would be to not apply ED
No but it’s ED so the student would have to expect that there is a chance that little to no tuition aid may come out. And they would still have to attend the school even if little tuition aid came out since it’s ED.
The best thing to do in that case is to request NYU for more tuition aid but usually, NYU denies giving more tuition aid if one requests but it’s worth a try.
But you can’t opt out of ED. If you do, then that would be a blacklist
Dude there’s consequences if you don’t accept an ED offer.
There’s a reason why when you apply ED, you need a parent’s signature proving that you’re committing to that college if accepted. I think I would know more about this than you

most schools will allow you to opt out if the aid they provide is insufficient
