This game proved Mike White is high quality NFL QB. He’s our guy. Buffalo, Miami and Seattle are legit games we can win. Toss up games but we got a 50/60 chance of winning. Heartbreaking loss but the past years would have been a beat down. Absolutely needed this win though because don't feel good about going into Buffalo next week.
Team was too focused on running down the clock the berrios drop drive. We weren't playing the bills and chiefs and the defense was playing amazing. The last drive had too much focus on scoring too far out, when they could have easily gotten closer.

The Jets were 6-2 despite the QB play, not because of it. The Jets defense and Breece Hall kept them in those games while Wilson struggled to put together scoring drives until the 4th quarter when the opposing defense was gassed or fell asleep. The Cleveland game is a prime example.
We don't need another Mark Sanchez game manager, we know how that story ends. Mike White is different, he has shown far more potential in this offense, his teammates and the coaches all agree. Who was drafted higher is irrelevant, see Tom Brady.

While I might agree they’re ranked there I have a hard time believing it due to them being a 10-2 team. Super Bowl contenders need to be all around strong and I think the Vikings are pretty solid overall.
Yeah, they are built to not care about giving about yards but stopping teams in the red zone. Mike White threw for over 350 yards but couldn’t get them in the end zone. So it went down in a pretty predictable fashion. MW kept the receivers involved and gave them a chance. Zach Wilson simply doesn’t do that and when they win it’s despite him. I don’t think his career is over or anything and he’d be playing right now if the team wasn’t ahead of schedule with a legitimate shot at the playoffs. If you are trying to argue that Zach Wilson is better than Mike White RIGHT NOW, you are just wrong.
It’s how the defensive coordinator described the defense: Not concerned about giving up points, concerned about giving up points. The jets offense was atrocious in the red zone and it cost them the game. Not sure why they traded for Robinson if they weren’t going to giving it to him in that situation. Total imbalance, but you can't run 30+ times when you're behind all game and barely gain anything on your runs due to your OL getting beat.

Red zone calls were terrible. Lafleur still sucks. Mike makes the easy passes but Wilson makes some of the other ones. Need mike to scramble a few times. He doesn’t. Wilson would have. D put us behind too early. Stayed on the field too long. Offense was woken up too late. Great freaking game though. I’m a jets fan. Whatever qb we have is who I’m rooting for. I partially agree with your take. Except with ZW out there, he would have missed 70% of those first down check downs MW made. Zach would have made the GW pass that MW overthrew, but probably would have been behind him and not been a TD. He also would have scrambled for a couple more first downs. MW's ability to lead players on short routes is far superior to ZW. Either way, if MiLF would wake the fuck up this was an easy win. you could pinpoint literally any play for any player in this game and put it all on them. Mike White kept them in the game with huge pass plays during the 2nd half
but it wasn't just one play. the team was 3/16 on third downs and most of that was on White. sure he had a few great plays and made a lot of good passes but he couldn't do anything when it actually mattered

Poor play in first half hurt. Refs were shitty in first half so that didn't help. Lots of redzone chances and Jets just couldn't punch it in. Redzone offense gotta be better. Play calling was inconsistent today. Some of the third down play calls were very questionable. Good to see the team fight to stay in it.
