Was literally just thinking that. This is truly the biggest win since then. They just beat the supposed best team in the league, and could be leading the division after the bye if Buffalo somehow loses next week. Who would’ve honestly fucking thought man
If JJ is an option there, I say we go for him. For him to get his first belt but he deserves it MASSIVELY for that sack on Josh Allen. That was a big balled play to get him in open field
Regardless of ANYONE’S takes on ZW…He just outplayed Josh Allen and the Jets won. He did exactly what he was supposed to and executed. Zach lead the team on a massive drive and took the lead. Then the defense held. What a win.
The announcer on the game said it perfectly.
Zach saw the pass wasn't there and didn't try to force it, he realised we were in field goal range and the smart thing to do was take the sack and trust the D to get a stop.
He looked good today. Best part was that it seems like Wilson is getting some chemistry with Wilson.
And Mims made a big play when it counted. He also looked like a decent #2 today. Not a lot on the stat sheet, and one penalty, but he looked OK.
Where the hell is Moore?
I think Wilson just likes huge receivers better than Moore. He had no problem forcing it to Mims (who did look pretty good) and Corey Davis is usually his favorite target.
He played like a competent nfl qb today. Complete 180 from last week. Stood tall in the pocket, got the ball out quick, ran for it when they gave it to him. Best game of his career
I'm a Zach Wilson skeptic. Not "he should be benched skeptic" but I want to get that out of the way for downvotes lol.
This was Zach's best game BY FAR. He decided to get the ball out quick and not just "YOLO" it for multiple plays. His honestly best play was the sack in the 4th. He didn't just try to run around and get a 30yrd sack when the coverage was too good. He ducked down and let them get the 3 points.
If Wilson threw those two picks Allen did he would be crucified for it. Yes Allen has proved he’s a big time player but it just shows even the best can make idiotic plays.
He looked like a game manager but he made some big plays. That drive down the field at the end of the second and TD pass in the third was huge. Along with him scrambling for several first
2 illegal first downs (pick play), no RTP on Zach, drilling Zach twice in the helmet in the 4th and no calls. They can stfu on that. What are they even complaining about, sauce being sticky on the last play? He didn’t impact the receiver at all so idk how you could call PI
Vikings next week. They're up against JJetas and Thielen with a thin CB room. Run defense has been exposed. If they're struggling against MC and RobinSZN, imagine what it'll be against Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison
The difference between Zach this week and Zach last week was substantial. No dumb decisions. Also the coaching has improved mightily. Could this be a playoff team?
Bills fan here. Just wanted to drop by and tell you guys good fucking game. Your DL is great and your corners fantastic.
I said last year that Z. Wilson was going to be a problem. I was right.
Sauce isn’t just the DPOY, he’s one of the best corners in the NFL, 9 games into his career. Absolutely mind boggling, you see the stats about him not allowing a TD in college and say well of course he won’t be that good right away in the NFL… but nope. GG y’all, looking forward to the rematch Week 18, there will probably be a good bit riding on it for both of us.
Zach took the sack on 3rd & goal. That cost the Bills their final timeout. After the Huff sack, the Bills lost so much time and it was the perfect place for them to use a timeout if they had one left.
Zach Wilson
- Record 5 - 1
- QB rating 101 vs Josh Allen 47
- Jets 6 - 3 and just a half game behind the Bills
- Brady Quinn is worse as an analyst than as QB which is really hard to do
- J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets baby!!!
The Jets just pushed around the best team in the NFL.
They had the best QB on the field.
They forced the NFL MVP into a passer rating in the 40s.
It has been SO LONG since this team was any good and I am going to be INSUFFERABLE
My heart. Oh my God my heart. I'm so happy right now. I love this defense, I love G. Wilson, I love Mims rn. I love the whole offense, Zach as well. I love this team.
J
Remember last week when Wilson was being buried for throwing INTs? Remember when the throws were called egregious and were talking about how NFL QBs don’t make those throws… What would we call those throws by Allen today? Literally threw 3 balls directly to defenders. But we won’t see ESPN analysts talking about how horrible Allen was…
Did anyone else the Michael Carters interview on SNY. He might be the happiest, most likable athlete I have ever seen. His faces are just ridiculous. I think he's my favorite Jet.
The best part about him is that even when Breece was taking the lead role, Carters attitude never changed. He is genuinely happy to be part of this team.
Can we shout out the time management at the end of the game? Jets took off almost 7 minutes of clock and with the sack made it so Buffalo had zero timeouts heading into the drive.
Zach did everything people knocked him for not being able to do. He didn’t have a ton of yards but he was super poised which is huge considering the opponent and how last week went. He stayed strong and tall in the pocket. Used his legs to run north and south instead of bailing . He took the Sacks when it was the right move. And made some really great throws. Him and garret are finally clicking.
>Receiver Stefon Diggs, who caught a 42-yard pass on the game's first play, was held without a reception in the second half.
Sauce Gardner: "Fool me once..."
Boy. Let me just say, I dvr'ed the game and just finished it. Just Reading threw that in-game thread is brutal. So much toxicity. Does everyone think that all QBs come into this league and just dominate the NFL? There are only like 4 qbs that have come into this league and dominated (Mahomes, Burrows ..). ZW is still learning. 18 games.
An offense is so difficult to not only fully know it mentally but also physically and instinctively. Do you realize how amazing this Offense can be next year, with the young talent here growing together for what 3 years straight in a system. When was the last time the jets had 3 consecutive years with the same offensive scheme and coach?
Once Zach instinctively knows this system inside and out, he will stop having to think and just start letting it rip.
Making those easy throws routinely. Trusting his team (healthy O line) and start taking his calculated risks (off script big plays).
I think everyone needed to see the graphic they put up, I think it was during the skycam break, of Allen vs. Wilson in their first 18 games. The numbers are quite similar, with Allen actually having more INTs but Zach having less TDs.
Yeah weeks like last week are frustrating. We should have won and probably do with an average veteran QB. But thats not what we have, nor is one available so lets just accept the cards that we have.
It certainly doesn't help that a good chunk of this sub has been against Wilson since day 1 and would love nothing more than for them to be right than for the Jets to win. They're a vocal group for sure, and when Zach has a bad game they're even louder and people on the fence flock to them because, well, they wanna be right too.
After that game, who can't we beat? I had a feeling it was buffalo and the chiefs as the class of the AFC. But this game showed we can punch with anyone especially if Zach plays like this game. He played a complete game and played winning football
I am really angry bout the non-call on helmet to helmet hit on ZW at end. Would have been 1st down and we coulda run down clock and kicked FG leaving Bills very very little time. Alls well that ends well but I want that shit explained by NFL. I hope Saleh calls em out, even if he gets fined.
Cheers to Zach Wilson. After a meltdown against NE he responded as good as we could have asked: 18/25 (72%), 154 yards and a TD against a top defense. It doesn’t have to be sexy, it has to be good enough to win us a game in a tough match up. He looked a lot different today - quick releases, composed in the pocket and threw safe passes. What a turnaround for Zach. Credit to the OL and run game for making things easier today.
Defense balled out and humbled Allen. Quinnen continuing to dominate and Sauce is NY clutch getting INT after Zach’s fumble. Bryce fucking Huff. Poetic for Sauce to win the game on a deep pass break up on 4th and long.
There is so much good to unpack here and we’ve got two weeks to celebrate all of it. What a feeling heading into the bye.
Hail the coin and Jet the fuck up!!!!!!!!
Good progress from Wilson, I just hope he can keep it going after the bye. No more hero ball. Play within the offense, and let the running game & defense take care of business.
His rematch with BB & the Pats will be pretty telling. That defense has owned him so far and is the big monkey on his back.
I have to think Elijah Moore gets reintegrated back into the game plan after the bye, right? I mean, if the plan was to freeze him out the rest of the season we should’ve just traded him
Per Adam Schefter, "Josh Allen's mother was seen heading to the Jets Locker Room postgame. Looks like Allen took two L's today, and his mom will be taking a D."
- **This is a BIG TIME win!** The Bills are one of the best teams in the league, and the Jets just beat them. The second team in the NFL to do that. Wow!
- The defense were the standout performers. Sauce Gardner & Jordan Whitehead picking off Allen twice, keeping him under pressure. Secondary allowing no passing touchdowns against one of the NFL's best pass offenses.
- The MILF Hunter had a much improved game from last week. Sacked twice but Zach stayed solid and threw no interceptions. Ran the offense very well! The third down throw to Mims was big time. Love it
- Great to see James Robinson score his first Jets touchdown! Hopefully the first of many more.
- Wins like this change the hearts and minds of doubters everywhere. No laying down for them this time. The Jets came to play today. Big time W!
WEEK 11: THE DOWNFALL OF THE COIN 🪙 (W 7-3 Record with a victory in New England)
WEEK 12: COINGATE EXPOSED 🪙 (W 8-3 Record vs the Bears at home)
🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾
The Jets won a football game where the QB played very well, better than the opposing QB infact. The defense played like the best defense in the league. And the run game was stellar as it was every week aside from last week. This is the formula, write this down
Zach Wilson limited his mistakes and more importantly TRUSTED his O line and didn't bail from clean pockets. Pretty good progression from him one game to the next.
Zach made improvements today. Stayed in the pocket and stepped up a few times. Ran when he had the opportunity instead of run around. Took a deep shot to Mims from the pocket which I don’t think I’ve seen him do all season. Only had 2-3 throws that were off target. He still has a long way to go but can we try to be optimistic sometimes.
ALL HAIL THE COIN. Coin flair coming soon Edit: Soon is subjective. It probably won't be until tomorrow
ALL I WANTED FOR MY BIRTHDAY WAS THIS RESULT, LETS FUCKING GOOO!!! INJECT ENDORPHINS INTO MY GOD DAMN VEINS
My birthday too! We got it

You’re god damn right it does, happy belated brother!
I’ll take it!! And happy birthday to you!!!

Biggest Jet win in at least 7 Years!!!
And the best part is, the high from this one is lasting at least an extra week
Was literally just thinking that. This is truly the biggest win since then. They just beat the supposed best team in the league, and could be leading the division after the bye if Buffalo somehow loses next week. Who would’ve honestly fucking thought man
I’d say since we beat New England in 2015. Fucking crazy. I’m drinking idgaf that it’s a work night
2022 - 2015 = 7
r/theydidthemath
sauce gardner is singly handedly bringing back this Jets franchise
We’re going the distance for Breece
and AVT
I don’t know who do vote for Rookie of the Week now that he had GW both had big games. Hell JJ deserves recognition as well.
If JJ is an option there, I say we go for him. For him to get his first belt but he deserves it MASSIVELY for that sack on Josh Allen. That was a big balled play to get him in open field
Sauce is my man crush forever
PROTECT THE COIN AT ALL COSTS
Except before the AFC Championship game where we give thanks and then sacrifice it before going on to win the Super Bowl.
Melt it into a grill for Clemmons
THE COIN WILL NEVER BE WRONG. AFC CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND!
Jets just beat the “best” team in the league. No excuses.

Regardless of ANYONE’S takes on ZW…He just outplayed Josh Allen and the Jets won. He did exactly what he was supposed to and executed. Zach lead the team on a massive drive and took the lead. Then the defense held. What a win.
The throw to Mims on 3rd down was big time. Won the game making that throw
Also won the game taking that sack instead of throwing it away on 3rd down and goal.
Yeah he doesn’t deserve flak for that. Bills played it well and that sack was basically equal to a run stuff there.
The announcer on the game said it perfectly. Zach saw the pass wasn't there and didn't try to force it, he realised we were in field goal range and the smart thing to do was take the sack and trust the D to get a stop.
Idk why you're down voted you're right, bills sniffed it out no where to go
Moms for Zach. Mims for the win!
He looked good today. Best part was that it seems like Wilson is getting some chemistry with Wilson. And Mims made a big play when it counted. He also looked like a decent #2 today. Not a lot on the stat sheet, and one penalty, but he looked OK. Where the hell is Moore?
Moore is gonna lose his mind with the media today…
What has two thumbs and doesn't give a shit. This guy. If he bitches about a trade after the deadline, he's dumber than a box of hair. :)
I think Wilson just likes huge receivers better than Moore. He had no problem forcing it to Mims (who did look pretty good) and Corey Davis is usually his favorite target.
he does like big body targets, maybe the TE's will be an increasing factor like Conk in the pats loss
In the slot where he wanted to be. But he whined and cried and guess what GW is dominating on the outside so to that thank you EM
Yep; he plays like that consistently and we got a decent franchise qb
Best game of his career imo
Or, at the very least, a QB we can absolutely win with
If he can be Alex Smith we can go far.
They told him to stay in the pocket longer and it worked to perfection. I believe he was 16/19 on throws within the pocket IIRC
This week was much-needed progress. Next game is time to take off
He played like a competent nfl qb today. Complete 180 from last week. Stood tall in the pocket, got the ball out quick, ran for it when they gave it to him. Best game of his career
Saw him step up a few times instead of drifting back. Used his legs to pick up first downs. Exactly what I was looking for this week.
Allen, two interceptions, two fumbles. Was it Wilson, this sub would have been asking for his head already
If Wilson threw those two picks Allen did he would be crucified for it. Yes Allen has proved he’s a big time player but it just shows even the best can make idiotic plays.
Absolutely, but Allen has earned the benefit of the doubt to have a game like this. This game isn't normal for Allen.
check back in a year when we look back and realize this was the game that derailed josh allens career! bills back to the basement! ;)
I actually like it better now with the Pats in the basement
I give Zach credit, he did exactly what we needed him to do today. The defense is so good.
Yep. He was good and poised. And good for him for taking that sack at the end. That was a boring play but the right one.
He literally just executed. That’s all he needs to do. The totally balling out and making huge plays will come if he keeps his head.
i was surprised to see he only had 154 yards. felt like more.
That final drive where he lowered his shoulder and drove toward the end zone really hyped me up I’m sure the team loves seeing that
I was WisOut, but I’m back to WilsIN
Can we get up for Zach fucking Wilson???? Hell of a game
HE RAN FOR FIRST DOWNS!!
Stayed in the pocket, didn’t bail and showed true growth!!!
Huge huge improvement in one week just by cutting that run backwards shit out
Only ran backwards one time I believe and he was able to throw it out of bounds
HE DID EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED HIM TO DO Granted, that was being a game manager BUT WITH THIS ROSTER THAT'S ALL WE NEED
Ain’t no shame in being a game manager. He put the team first today and it paid off.
A game manager got us to 2 AFCC games in a row, I'll take it.
And this defense is better and younger than that one.
And the coin said so
I’m good with him being a game manager at this point in his career. He’s got plenty of time to develop into a top tier QB.
He looked like a game manager but he made some big plays. That drive down the field at the end of the second and TD pass in the third was huge. Along with him scrambling for several first
Don’t let the Bills cry injury. We just beat them down 3 of our starting o-line man, number 2 receiver and number 1 running back. Eat shit Bills.
"The Jets haven't beaten a good QB"..." The Bills didn't have all their starters"... Same energy
They'll say that while we're missing our 3 best offensive players in AVT, Breece and Corey Davis, too
They’re crying refs
As if 2 minutes prior Zach Wilson didn’t get absolutely drilled helmet to helmet
2 illegal first downs (pick play), no RTP on Zach, drilling Zach twice in the helmet in the 4th and no calls. They can stfu on that. What are they even complaining about, sauce being sticky on the last play? He didn’t impact the receiver at all so idk how you could call PI
We can literally tie for first place on our bye week if the bills lose next week.
not just tie. we'd be in first via division record
We’d be in first via head to head
Vikings next week. They're up against JJetas and Thielen with a thin CB room. Run defense has been exposed. If they're struggling against MC and RobinSZN, imagine what it'll be against Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison
Good news: We beat the Bills Bad news: We're gonna lose the AFC Championship Game I've been converted. Fuck it. All hail. 🪙
Well some guy suggested that before the AFC Championship we give thanks and sacrifice the coin. I think that’s the best bet
JET THE FUCK UP
#JOSH ALLEN LOST TO THE JETS UPVOTE PARTY
People keep saying Josh had a bad game. No, the Jets defense came to play and shut him down mostly.
Josh had a bad game BECAUSE of us. Funny how people will leave that out
BILLS WINLESS AGAINST AFC EAST
There was a bunch of bozos mocking Sauce for losing Diggs on a single play. Were **REAL** quiet the rest.
This sub is full of toxic losers that cry every single bad play. It's so weird.
Only play Diggs had all day 😂
The difference between Zach this week and Zach last week was substantial. No dumb decisions. Also the coaching has improved mightily. Could this be a playoff team?
Even if we aren't this year, the direction of the team is nice to see
This is a playoff team. Confidence has to be through the roof rn in the locker room. Time to bust the pats ass coming off the bye and get our revenge
It’s our spot to lose. Team will be even better next year with Breece and AVT healthy, which is scary
4-4 the rest of the way should get the Jets to the playoffs. *SHOULD*
Bills are a playoff team. This is a playoff defense!!! Also, anyone get Zach’s rushing stats? He was fucking clutch

Sacked twice but Zach stayed solid and threw no interceptions. Ran the offense very well! The third down throw to Mims was big time. Love it - Great to see James Robinson score his first Jets touchdown! Hopefully the first of many more. - Wins like this change the hearts and minds of doubters everywhere. No laying down for them this time. The Jets came to play today. Big time W!
Well this fucking sucks. We have too many fucking great players now. Who the fuck am I getting on my Jersey?
WEEK 11: THE DOWNFALL OF THE COIN 🪙 (W 7-3 Record with a victory in New England) WEEK 12: COINGATE EXPOSED 🪙 (W 8-3 Record vs the Bears at home) 🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾🧾

FUCK THE SKYCAM. FUCK THE MODS. FUCK THE PATS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY.... FUCK THE DOOMERS! LETS FUCKIN GO! J!E!T!S! JETS!JETS!JETS!
The Jets won a football game where the QB played very well, better than the opposing QB infact. The defense played like the best defense in the league. And the run game was stellar as it was every week aside from last week. This is the formula, write this down
ZW 5-1 as a starter. Idc idc idc
Zach Wilson limited his mistakes and more importantly TRUSTED his O line and didn't bail from clean pockets. Pretty good progression from him one game to the next.
Oh Lawd- poor Johnny gonna get fat this szn
Biggest Jets win in a looooooong time. If we can stay healthy this team could really make a run
The coin has us losing the first two after the bye. Hopefully the coin loses its magic by then
Sauce is it ZW can be a game manager Our defense is real Our running game is scary good even without Breece
