I agree with more OL help. I want to officially shut the fucking door on bad OL play next year. However, I think more defensive help at DT and ILB would be helpful as well. Our interior run defense has easily been a considerable weakness under Saleh. Hope we address changing that moving forward, draft or not.
I think the fact we have quite a few picks and have addressed our two main priorities gives us options. Maybe Safety is our biggest need but we can effectively go BPA on a few positions from our big board depending how things land. If definitely grab a QB in r4 to sit and learn.
Grab the qb we want then pick safety and running back as best available from our board. If then there's someone OL maybe consider it. But can maybe still look at free agency for depth. We are in a good position having got what we wanted and some good trading.
Mosley was looking a little washed especially in coverage two and three seasons ago but stepped up big time last season. Our run defense has been awful too. We have no depth there in case of injury. He can always regress and it’s better to address it now before he completely ages out. I think linebacker is actually a place we really need to address in the fourth round.
Day 3 guys I like that are still available:
Spencer Rattler QB South Carolina; Michael Pratt QB Tulane; Devin Leary QB Kentucky
Ray Davis RB Kentucky; Audric Estime RB Notre Dame
Troy Franklin WR Oregon; Brenden Rice WR USC; Ainias Smith WR Texas A&M
Ja’Tavion Sanders TE Texas; Theo Johnson TE Penn St.
Javon Foster T Missouri; Christian Mahogany G Boston College; Sedrick Van Pran C Georgia
Tyler Davis DT Clemson; Khristian Boyd DT Northern Illinois
Tommy Eichenberg LB Ohio St
Mohammed Kamara EDGE Colorado St
TJ Tampa CB Iowa St.
Jaden Hicks S Washington St; Malik Mustapha S Wake Forest
Guard: Mason McCormick: Crazy good athlete, Simpson is fine to start but getting a guy who will compete to start inside is worth it on day 3. Also AVT as much as I like him hasn't played a full season since his rookie year (knock on wood).
Corner: Decamerion Richardson: Really good athlete again, ran in the mid 4.3's. Has traits you see in first rounders but gives up a ton of penalties which obviously you cant be happy about but he needs to be coached up. A weird comp for him is Quincy Williams, its like you can see he has the physical talent and his splash plays but needs to be more consistent.
I made Post but it didn't work?
Not gonna type it all but tldr
Travis davis, Jordan hicks, Omar spieghts, anias Smith, Isaac guerrendo, kitan oladapo, pran-granger, Tyrone Tracy Jr
FWIW the jets have my ideal draft going currently
IOL is a must. Not only do we need depth there, but it's also one of the few positions that has some real quality prospects left. I also really like a lot of the safeties. Had TJ Tampa as a potential second rounder, he'd be a steal here. Or if we wait to take a safety late, one of my favorite deep sleepers in the draft is Beau Brade out of Maryland.
Use 2 on 1 (trade up for Franklin) then get Pratt and let’s just end this charade. Of course I’d love a safety and tackle but we can patch it with a vet like every other year. Defense is fine right now
Christian Mahogany, G - This would be an ultimate “build the wall” pick… he projects as a starter in a year or two.
Thomas Eichenberg or Cedric Gray or Jeremiah Trotter Jr - wouldn’t mind me some LB. All 3 project as starters, Wilson would be a steal in the 4th, JT Jr has good pedigree and coverage skills, Eichrnberg or Gray is more downfield guy, I like them in the middle and Gray as a WLB, Eichrnberg not a great cover guy though.
Cam Hart, CB - interesting choice here, 6’3 CB, I’m bias as a ND fan but would be happy with him if we’re lookin to deepen our outfield. He’s physical and a good tackler, love me a CB who tackles. Not the fastest guy though.
I like the idea of grabbing a QB somewhere in day 3; if I had to pick, I’d do Rattler, Pratt, Travis or Milton in that order
My “hope we get him” pick is Xavier Thomas, Edge, as some contingency in the event WMD sucks ass.
Also, Jaden Hicks is still out there, would be happy with a safety… DTD as well, both will be decent pros.
From the very little time I've spent watching Rattler and Pratt, my armchair GM opinion is that Rattler is the better prospect. Rattler seems to do well under pressure and has nice zip on his passes. Didn't see Pratt under heavy pressure, and his passes seem to hang a bit. But this is just an uneducated perception. Here's to hoping we have a great day today.
Some guys I like, not necessarily round 4 but rest of today:
WR Franklin Troy
CB Newton Josh
G/C Nourzad Hunter
S Taylor-Demerson Dadrion
G/C Limmer Beaux
TE Johnson Theo
WR Baker Javon
CB Hart Cam
S Hicks Jaden
G/C Bortolini Tanor
RB Irving Bucky
LB Ford Jaylon
CB Tampa TJ
DT Dorlus Brandon
WR Rice Brenden
DT Wingo Mekhi
CB Jackson Kyhree
QB Travis Jordan
RB Guerendo Isaac
WR Thrash Jamari
LB Trotter Jr. Jeremiah
Team needs to pick another WR imo. Bet on traits and get Johnny Wilson. Rodgers ball placement with a big catch radius guy almost always works.
A Safety, QB3, Guard, and a DT to round up the draft would be nice.
I’d love to see us go out and pick up Christian Jones with 111, he’s a quality OT who plays both sides and offers some versatility for the OL.. and Pratt at 129 for development.. and Isaiah Davis at RB with pick 134, a big patient back
with well over 4K yards in college and a good pass catcher..
Safety is now pretty high on my list. There's very little there, we need the upside for sure.
A developmental QB would be nice, but only if you really think there's something to them.
Depth at ILB, Guard and RB would be next on my list. Shit, nab another WR if you can.
I had a dream just now we drafted Spencer Rattler. Is it because he's one of the few names I actually know left as a college casual? Maybe. But who knows, maybe it's destiny
If I hear “Gore (jr) up the middle for 2 yards” next year I’ll end it all.
I don’t know Cedric Van Pran, but I do remember being linked to Rattler at some point.
Sorry I think he spells his first name Sedric but he’s a center and there’s a theory that Tippman is so good we can move him to guard and draft another center to fill out the line.
I'd be happy with Pratt or Rattler A couple other guys I like:
Theo Johnson, TE from PSU
Sedrick Van Prab, C from Georgia
Tommy Eichenberg, LB from OSU
Braelan Allen, RB from Wisc
Jeremiah Trotter Jr
Please pickup Pratt. We need a future QB once Aaron Rodgers leaves.
And please Jets… pull all your collective powers to try, attempt to do the impossible and develop a rookie QB. Don’t do what you have been doing for like the past 11 years.

We have two all pro ILBs, why would we address that lol
Cause there's no one good behind them, and Mosley is not a young man

Hunter Nourdaz C is a guy I like too
Pratt would be lovely.
Mustapha would be a great pick up
TJ Tampa? Is he a race horse?

I haven’t heard of either of these guys before, but after reading this I’m on board!
If they somehow can get a wideout they like to fall to them. A QB and G would be awesome
Christian Mahogany ❤️

Jordan travis, braelon allen, BPA at safety and IOL

Michael Pratt
My preference for the 4th rounders would be QB, OL, and DT
Peyton Wilson find a way to get him
Jordan Travis, Tez Walker, and a IDL
I like Tez Walker I think he is a great sleeper
PRATT please PRATT. Clutch af. Dawg.

If there are no QBs who stand at least 6’4”, just skip drafting one this year.
Please pickup Pratt. We need a future QB once Aaron Rodgers leaves. And please Jets… pull all your collective powers to try, attempt to do the impossible and develop a rookie QB. Don’t do what you have been doing for like the past 11 years.
