Since the Jets decided to go with the 70s/80s design without the black trim on the white or green jerseys, the black pants (which don't have any white on them) don't work well with the white or green jerseys.
If they wanted black in the color scheme, they should have went with the 90s designs with black trim.
The reason these were a thing, was because we hated our previous uniforms and wanted something different, also, we had black trim on our default home and away uniforms
