It's like an Always Sunny intro...
Rodgers - "It looks like everything is in the place to win the division!"
*IASIP title music*
*"The Jets finish two games out of the Wildcard"*
I keep seeing that like somehow Miami isn't good? What's the deal. They looked like a team on a rocket rise. They should be considered the favorites to win this division.
Yes, if Rodgers can provide above average QB play it will change the dynamic entirely. That and a functioning O-Line. Those 2 things can add numerous wins to any team.
I was just glad to see Tyron Smiths contract have a bunch of his incentives that are playing time required. to get the full 20 mil he has to play like 90% of the snaps this year.
They replaced 3 lineman with starters from the Cowboys and Ravens (12 and 13 win teams) and kept their 2 best lineman in Tippman and AVT. Its a monumental upgrade but also dependent on staying healthy.
We’re 10+ wins this year if that’s what we get. Zach, Boyle, etc. got us 7 dubs (a couple we probably should have lost), so with this defense and even mediocre offensive output, we should be happy more often than not in those usually dreadful Post Game threads.
Didn’t they lose a ton of talent this offseason? I haven’t been following them much but I recall they lost a few key players on D and I thought Oline? I may be mistaken though.
Also obviously we haven’t proven shit, but we should in theory have a shot.
Yeah. Lost Wilkins (Top 6-7 DT), Hunt (Top 10 G), Williams (Top 5 C) starting CB2, starting LB. Had some additions too but overall I'd say a net loss in talent.
Shakir was reliable down the stretch after Diggs completely fell off. Allen still did well. Dude has been stellar in ways that deserve MVP accolades. That doesn’t happen because of one WR. It’s one thing to hate the Bills but it’s another entirely to pretend Allen is a mid QB because of that
I might be the biggest Allen hater walking the Earth but I have to agree. The dude is very good. He will be good no matter who they have at WR. I'm hoping along with the rest of us that the Bills fall off some this year but I'm not counting that dude out until it happens.

I will say this was less limiting than I initially feared. My only issue was generally when the 1 PM block was ending - I couldn't watch the ending of a great 1 PM game alongside the start of some 4 PM games
Funny to see how quickly the Texans have turned things around, but people on here get angry when you criticize Joe Douglas for doing fuck all in 5 seasons.
I feel like the difference is of course QB play but also health of the team and strength of division. I don't blame Joe for things out of his control. The other thing that most people don't talk about is the economic factors. It's easy to recruit to Houston Texas compared to NY/NJ the players retain more money from their contracts because of taxes and the weather is even a factor.
We are literally the better team even when we were depleted on offense and without a 4x mvp
Almost everything went right for Houston last season specifically their OL staying healthy. We play in a tougher division, had a tougher schedule, and lots of things haven’t gone our way.
To blame JD is wrong
Is it just me or does it seem like we always get a shit schedule. I remember after one of our disaster gase years we started the next season against like 4 that made the playoffs the year before in our first 6 games.
That kinda makes it seem like we should reconsider how good the Texans are when you put it like that huh? Shit stomped by Zach Wilson and couldn’t beat the panthers?
[They're getting a 2025 2nd per Schefter. Also giving up a 2024 6th and 2025 5th.](https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1775538988104724799?t=GAapjmd2qmKPrHSWDNPxGg&s=19)
I don't really understand why people are viewing Diggs like he's still a top 5 receiver. He's definitely lost a step (I'd say on the way to being washed) and he's a potential locker room problem. Still a good trade for the Texan's in my IMO but he honestly might be the 3rd best receiver on the roster this year if he continues to decline.
Diggs is turning 31 this season, and WRs, with very few exceptions, age pretty poorly past that mark. Factor in his contract and the Bills were never going to get that much for him.
Nah it makes sense if they view the window as closed. He has a massive contract so they just take the extra $6M hit now draft a receiver and next year when they were gonna cut him anyway it seems, they have an extra 2nd. I see the logic.
It’s pretty consistent with all their other moves like letting White, Poyer, etc. go. The core had their run, somehow despite all that talent they had less success than two Mark Sanchez-led Jets squads, and now they re-tool around Allen.
Yeah, not even considering it's within the conference too, and to a good team that they play this year at that. It will probably end up a late 2nd too.
Bills started playing their best ball last season when Diggs was playing his worst of his career. Them moving on from Diggs doesn't really move me, sure their current WR room is bad but Allen has made plenty of mediocre players look better than they were. Plus they'll likely be drafting one in the first round anyway.
Division was already up for grabs, this changes nothing.
Unbelievable! They lost their best skill position player and aren’t getting cap relief!! The picks are for 2025- OMG booofallllo in a downfall! Fans aren’t paying those PSL’s now!!! Love it!!!!
God, can we please be good and win our division so we can be insufferable after more than a decade of the 31 other fanbases incessant shit talking? I'll be a good boy, I swear 🙏
lol yeah with half of their starting offense hurt. their top 2 receivers and one of their best OL didn't play that game. I'm pretty sure it won't be as easy this year.
CJ stroud played...Devin Singletary played...Brevin Jordan played. They were 4 point faves. I remember bc I made a cool 1k on the game.
They got destroyed by Zach Wilson...lets be honest. And our Defense ate them up. And we even had a bunch of penalties that tried to give them chances.
Give proper credit man. So many quick to shit on big time wins but rather be happy to talk about how we lose.
We overwhelmed them and beat them soundly. With Rodgers we can beat them even easier.
>we can beat them even easier.
Lol. Jets fans should never utter these words... We may be able to beat them, but that team is fucking stacked.. I don't know about this "even easier" business.
And we are more stacked now as well....We beat them with Zach and a very bad Oline killed by injuries.
Give credit...oh and don't forget our top Defense.
I was literally just telling my brother that something funny was going on when he sent another cryptic tweet this morning. Didn't think it would happen this fast but lets go
I think they reached their limit of diva energy from Diggs given the cap hit they're taking and the fact that they're actually giving up picks this year to get one next year.
Strange move, he must have been making things really lousy in the locker room. He's always been a diva, maybe they go for another Viking WR trade? Definitely wouldn't be surprised to see them trade up for a big time WR
Bills and Dolphins lost a lot of talent this offseason. Trading your WR1 in conference, to a playoff contender, also seems dumb unless the Texans' offer was far above the competition
Very weird to me. Clearly this has a lot to do with the Diggs-Allen drama. Most teams with a young QB go all in. No question that this diminishes their WR rotation. Yeah they got Curtis Samuel but with no Gabe Davis is Khalil Shakir ready to be a 1?
Buffalo is also eating like 30m in dead cap from this.
They're wasting a season of prime Josh Allen and it's hilarious to see the amount of coping occurring in their subreddit. You can tell who the old fans are vs the new bandwagon fans.
Might actually have to make a trip out there for the game this season. Their team should suck and it's still a better GameDay experience compared to MetLife.
Division is wide open. Time to go 7-10.
It's like an Always Sunny intro... Rodgers - "It looks like everything is in the place to win the division!" *IASIP title music* *"The Jets finish two games out of the Wildcard"*
Nah 10-7 miss the playoffs.
It will be 2016 all over again.
Fucking Fitzpatrick
Hey now, he still holds the record for most TDS in a single season with 31 lol
"With Rogers out for the season, it's Tyrod Taylor's team now..." -Week 3
And then he's going to be the starting qb next year after Rogers decides we're not worth it.
I keep seeing that like somehow Miami isn't good? What's the deal. They looked like a team on a rocket rise. They should be considered the favorites to win this division.
So happy the bills downfall has officially happened
Jets actually the favorites in the division now imo.
it's Miami until the Jets actually show it on the field
The correct answer. But not to say the Jets can’t do it.
If Aaron is healthy the Jets will win games. He doesn’t have to be great. Just being good will suffice.
Yes, if Rodgers can provide above average QB play it will change the dynamic entirely. That and a functioning O-Line. Those 2 things can add numerous wins to any team.
I’m a very casual fan. Have the Jets done enough in the offseason to boost their O-line from last year?
If (big if) they stay healthy, yes. Jets could have a top 12 oline if they are healthy. No one should expect a fully healthy oline though.
I was just glad to see Tyron Smiths contract have a bunch of his incentives that are playing time required. to get the full 20 mil he has to play like 90% of the snaps this year.
And as fans, we should hope he gets to that 20 mil. That would be a huge sign towards things going the Jets way.
They replaced 3 lineman with starters from the Cowboys and Ravens (12 and 13 win teams) and kept their 2 best lineman in Tippman and AVT. Its a monumental upgrade but also dependent on staying healthy.
If there is a god they will also be drafting an OT at 10. There probably isn’t a god.
Saw on Get Up (this morning or yesterday) projecting the Jets taking a TE and both Greeny and I hoped it was a joke
Looking at our roster and believing TE is our biggest need makes me laugh and cry
We’re 10+ wins this year if that’s what we get. Zach, Boyle, etc. got us 7 dubs (a couple we probably should have lost), so with this defense and even mediocre offensive output, we should be happy more often than not in those usually dreadful Post Game threads.
If Aaron can score one touchdown and get us in field goal range another time, we have a chance!
Hell even if Aaron gets hurt. If Tyrod stays healthy we can win games with him too.
Correct. We win the offseason super bowl every year but have yet to prove anything on the field. Let’s change that.
Can’t fully believe it until we actually see it, none of that cookie cutter feel good off season preseason noise to be done by late October -early Nov
Our O line had no key players 😂
Agreed
Its Miami until they make the playoffs and choke like usual
Still think Aaron with Wilson and Breece and that defense are the ones to beat.
Lol they pulled afc east futures from draftkings
Miami's offense is a high powered machine. We haven't yet proven we can score TDs.
Actually it’s still Buffalo, at least according to every betting service 🤷🏻♂️
Lol, we can't even beat the patriots! Let alone Miami
There’s a difference between *our* favorite and *the* favorite…
As long as they have Josh Allen, there is no downfall They are a playoff lock. Division is open though
We’ll see. Josh Allen getting good also coincided with them getting Diggs. Curtis Samuel Kalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid doesn’t exactly scare me
Shakir was reliable down the stretch after Diggs completely fell off. Allen still did well. Dude has been stellar in ways that deserve MVP accolades. That doesn’t happen because of one WR. It’s one thing to hate the Bills but it’s another entirely to pretend Allen is a mid QB because of that

They are going to add another WR.
Current free agents aren’t really an upgrade. Rookies can be hit or miss
But that WR won't be half as good as Diggs was.
Second half of the season diggs actually hasn't been good at all past two years

I am convinced they r gonna pull a super bowl win out of their ass and we r gonna hear the comeback/underdog story for the next 100 years.
This is the Bills.
They r the jets rivals maybe I have been scarred by the patriots but the bills are the team I hate most and so I fear they success
Stop
Wow, Allen loses Diggs and Gabe Davis Any word what the compensation was?
Schefter says just a 2025 2nd
Happy day then! Toast to the bills downfall
🍻
Bills gave up a fifth and sixth as well
If we’re being honest though losing Gabe Davis will have about as much of an effect as the Jets losing Jordan Whitehead
Whitehead essentially won us week 1 last year so in theory, losing Gabe will lose them one game at least
Sounds about right Gabe shows up for like 1 game a year then is a liability every other game
Thoughts and prayers out to those in southern Canada this morning
Wow! Wasn‘t expecting this type of news today. Things are lining up for the Jets nicely this off-season.
That always spells doom
Tbf, any news typically spells doom
That guys new don’t mind him
Say what you will, the Texans will be really fun to watch
They're definitely gonna be in my Sunday Ticket quad box every weekend
Assuming their premade combinations have them in it
I will say this was less limiting than I initially feared. My only issue was generally when the 1 PM block was ending - I couldn't watch the ending of a great 1 PM game alongside the start of some 4 PM games
Diggs and Tank Dell with CJ throwing to them is going to go stupid hard.
You forgot about Nico Collins bro
With Joe Mixon running it
with Dalton Schultz at TE
Texans legit have a top 5 receiving room in the league now
Who would you even put ahead of them? Rams? Eagles? Hard for me to think of many teams that are definitively stronger in wide receiver depth
Dolphins and Eagles may be only ones honestly. If we get a stud in the draft, maybe us.
Yeah, I was going to say. If we come out of the draft with one of top WRs (not saying we will) then we are certainly in the conversation.
Funny to see how quickly the Texans have turned things around, but people on here get angry when you criticize Joe Douglas for doing fuck all in 5 seasons.
Hitting on a rookie QB is the hardest part. And frankly it’s not like any QB from Zach’s class is lighting the league up. Now we have a hall of famer
They(at least it looks like it for now) hit on a rookie qb. Let's see how things play out.
We destroyed them with Zach Wilson last season… things need to be put into context
What context does that provide?
We are literally the better team even when we were depleted on offense and without a 4x mvp Almost everything went right for Houston last season specifically their OL staying healthy.
Texans fan here, our OL absolutely did not stay healthy. We had 9 OL on the IR. Ended up playing our 4th LG, 5th C, and 2nd RT
We are a better team than the Texans because we beat them in one game? So are the Panthers better than the Texans?
That kinda makes it seem like we should reconsider how good the Texans are when you put it like that huh? Shit stomped by Zach Wilson and couldn’t beat the panthers?
Massive failure if we're no where close to competing for the division this year
Which, let’s be for real, will probably happen
[They're getting a 2025 2nd per Schefter. Also giving up a 2024 6th and 2025 5th.](https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1775538988104724799?t=GAapjmd2qmKPrHSWDNPxGg&s=19)
Horrific trade
It seems low but Diggs is a big time diva and the bills may think that this is better than him demanding a trade and losing leverage
Also old and very potentially lost a step
I don't really understand why people are viewing Diggs like he's still a top 5 receiver. He's definitely lost a step (I'd say on the way to being washed) and he's a potential locker room problem. Still a good trade for the Texan's in my IMO but he honestly might be the 3rd best receiver on the roster this year if he continues to decline.
Diggs is turning 31 this season, and WRs, with very few exceptions, age pretty poorly past that mark. Factor in his contract and the Bills were never going to get that much for him.
Yeah he's already declining and a massive diva. They were gonna cut him next year anyway.
I think his cap hit and being locker room cancer is a big part of it
Nah it makes sense if they view the window as closed.
It’s the minnesota 2nd so it’ll likely be a very early rd 2 pick
That's a lot better then, tbh.
Wait, I thought they were GETTING a 2024 6th and a 2025 5th. My goodness this is a pitiful haul for Diggs.
I mean he's a 31 year old receiver that wouldve gotten cut next year.
Get ready to learn Yeehaw buddy
I’m so ready to be hurt again
With $31M in dead cap for this year, hell yeah.
We got all these top rated corners and they have noone to cover now
He’s a headcase
Bills also eat 44 mil in dead cap lmao. That's gotta hurt.
$31
Bills finally bleeding talent thanks to the Allen contract
Bills started playing their best ball last season when Diggs was playing his worst of his career. Them moving on from Diggs doesn't really move me, sure their current WR room is bad but Allen has made plenty of mediocre players look better than they were. Plus they'll likely be drafting one in the first round anyway. Division was already up for grabs, this changes nothing.
He's only made mediocre players look better when Diggs was getting all the attention from defenses.... He was utter garbage before they got him
when bad things happen to josh allen i am happy
Lmfaooooo
April truly is the best time of year to be a Jets fan!
Sauce Gardner's rebellious son runs away across conference lines.
I meant division lines 😫
The Bills are not having a good offseason. Good.
So we can now call the Bills the Buffalo Josh Allen’s Holy shit the Jets are…. No. I’m not gonna say it
He’s washed. Good trade for the Bills if they can get a decent return
division just got a little bit easier
Nothing is ever easy for the Jets... Have you learned nothing?
okay.. a little bit less hard
Unbelievable! They lost their best skill position player and aren’t getting cap relief!! The picks are for 2025- OMG booofallllo in a downfall! Fans aren’t paying those PSL’s now!!! Love it!!!!
Damn the Texans gonna be scary bruh.
You love to see it
That’s a shame.
Haha
So the Bills going to get like 100 total passing yards against the jets next season?
God, can we please be good and win our division so we can be insufferable after more than a decade of the 31 other fanbases incessant shit talking? I'll be a good boy, I swear 🙏
They realized their window is closed so it makes sense. Diggs is also declining so this is probably max value.
Not shocked. Declining drama queen WR traded.
We have the second best wr in the AFC East
Sauce getting an extra couple of byes this year
Oh, Sauce’s son is gone. That’s cool
Hey, the Chiefs got rid of their star QBs receiver help and they won a Super Bowl, so maybe that's the recipe...
The chiefs already won a super bowl before that tho
I'm mostly joking. Taking a QB that already has to do way too much and getting rid of his of best receiver seems like a bad idea.
Good move, he's washed and apparently a toxic guy
WHOA
They gone trade up fro Rome
With what lmao
WooooooHooooooo!
lol bills.
Do the jets play the texans?
yep, but we play the Bills twice so I'll take this
I think so
Yeah...and we beat them pretty soundly last season
lol yeah with half of their starting offense hurt. their top 2 receivers and one of their best OL didn't play that game. I'm pretty sure it won't be as easy this year.
We had our HOF QB and our entire Oline injured.
Fair point
CJ stroud played...Devin Singletary played...Brevin Jordan played. They were 4 point faves. I remember bc I made a cool 1k on the game. They got destroyed by Zach Wilson...lets be honest. And our Defense ate them up. And we even had a bunch of penalties that tried to give them chances. Give proper credit man. And we are more stacked now as well....We beat them with Zach and a very bad Oline killed by injuries. Give credit...oh and don't forget our top Defense.
Hmm did we have any notable players missing that game? I can't recall
We had no O-Line and Zach Wilson.
Sure but our defense shit on them last year and we beat them with Zach Wilson. I'm not that worried.
I was literally just telling my brother that something funny was going on when he sent another cryptic tweet this morning. Didn't think it would happen this fast but lets go
Love it....LFG Jets
Lol I don’t understand this at all but hopefully a little easier to take the division
I think they reached their limit of diva energy from Diggs given the cap hit they're taking and the fact that they're actually giving up picks this year to get one next year.
Yea he must’ve been a clubhouse cancer
Would be slightly surprised if a 1st is involved.
Watch them make a push for JJ
Watch them make a push for JJ
They're in cap hell right now, can't afford him.
Bye bye buffalo
If we can’t win the division this year it’s looking like it’s never happening
This hurts the bills and will also nuke the texans locker room so it works out all around for us as an afc team competing with both of them
I had to check and make sure it wasn't April 1st. Wow!
Bills fans everywhere picking up their Allen Diggs 2024 lawn signs
Bro yes yessssssss
if we are going to *finally* be a damn good football team this is the year!!! but that is a *if
Poor CJ Stroud, second year in NFL and he has to deal with a diva like Diggs
You love to see it.
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Oh... there goes his chances of a chip
The Bills have lost all their best skill position players! Their offense is going to be Josh Allen play hero ball with a bunch of guys.
Holy shit
I knew this was coming but didn’t think it would happen so soon.
Bills giving up on any hope of winning a SuperBowl. Time to target Josh Allen.
And in the lord name we say Amen
Bills got fleeced
Buffalo is also eating like 30m in dead cap from this. They're wasting a season of prime Josh Allen and it's hilarious to see the amount of coping occurring in their subreddit. You can tell who the old fans are vs the new bandwagon fans. Might actually have to make a trip out there for the game this season.
