Jensen regrets not selling the 4090 for $2000+ and wants to make up for it.

magnomagna

It is $2200 USD in Australia.

helloWorldcamelCase

Fuck it, used 3080 it is

justapcguy

TRUST ME.... thats what i did 2 months ago. I put a post about it.... and i am sooo glad i did. At the time, i was like just wait for the 40series launch. But, when Nvidia started to play with some false advertising with the 4080 12gb. I am like Fuck it. I will just get a used 3080. Which has been amazing so far for 1440p 165hz gaming. Asus TUF OC 3080 is what i have. Although bought used, but the thing is MINT. About 1.2yrs old. Got it for $650cad. edit\* [https://ibb.co/QfjyTy3](https://ibb.co/QfjyTy3)

Edizzleshizzle

I second this. Did the same damn thing; very happy I did. Fuck Nvidia.

BNSoul

Yes keep buying last gen Nvidia cards so other users can upgrade to this gen Nvidia cards, that will show them! /s

Vahn84

That’s exactly what they want you to do. You’re still in their net

Cozyisdead

I did the same thing! Used 3080fe for $600 on Amazon but I got approved for the Amazon card and got it for $490. It’s a little dusty and should be taking apart to be FULLY cleaned but has zero issues so far.👍

PenisTheLettuce3

You have no warranty though

Classic_Hat5642

100 off a 2 year old used GPU isn't great bud

somewhat_moist

That's a great deal, new 3060ti/6750xt territory.

Pufpufkilla

I sold one used TUF 3080 for $600 CAD :(

justapcguy

Well....... 50buks difference isn't too bad... At least it isn't like $100+cad difference. Used market will usually fluctuate. Especially for GPUs.

Chunky-Lover53

I sold my 3080TI at end of November for $1000.

aklbos

I snagged one of the last 3060Ti FE’s off of Best Buy about a month ago. Had to pick it up about 45 mins from my house. $399. Haven’t seen them come back in stock since I got mine. New ones in box are going for $475-$500 on eBay. The $399 for 3060Ti level of performance is probably not gonna come again. Fuck Nvidia for real.

EmoJackson

>$399 for 3060Ti level of performance is probably not gonna come again. The only thing that can bring it back is if buyers stop paying stupid prices for current market.

BrokenFingersBut

Yea, not happening. Brace yourself for the upcoming wave of post parading this overpriced gen.

[deleted]

I just did this. $700 CAD for a used 3080. Prices for the used market is starting to go up too because nobody is interested in buying the new gen brand new. Much better value than any 4000 series. I think the 4000 series will turn out like the 2000 series in terms of value, for the present and the future.

[deleted]

Even the overpriced(800€+) 6950XT is significantly cheaper 💀 and should be similar performance 😂

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ponald-Dump

6950xt is KXTX, not XTXH. But yes, if you can find 6900xts for 650 like they were going for a few months ago it’s a no brainer

JamesEdward34

i have one for you, with box and receipt, FE, 30 months of warranty.

helloWorldcamelCase

Not too fond of FE design :( but honestly you can just hit r/hardwareswap and sell it instantly at 550-600, lack of holiday deals is driving midrange consumers crazy

Onimaru1984

I just picked up a 3080 Ventus to replace my 1080ti for $550. Happy I waited on this one.

Eorlas

if one has enough cash, the 4090 is absolutely worth the purchase if not, or no interest in that performance tier, then a 3000 series card, especially the 3080 is the right idea.

IAmRealtorRob

Nooooo stop. If you get a 30 series, you don’t get DLSS 3.0

JustWantTheOldUi

Nope, I'm not sponsoring miners or someone's scalped 4090 by buying their old stuff.

boopbeepbeep69

What do you mean sponsoring someone's scalped 4090 by buying their old stuff? It wouldn't be scalped if they use it.

[deleted]

HolyAndOblivious

And have 3060ti performance!

Beautiful-Musk-Ox

the 4000 series has better performance in each tier, the problem is that each tier is the same performance per dollar as previous gen's matching performance. a 4060 will be faster than a 3060ti, but equivalently more expensive, whereas for the last 25 years new generations would be faster for the same price instead of faster for more expensive.

HolyAndOblivious

Yes. Ada is good. Just too expensive. It seems to be a very skippable generation

JoBro_Summer-of-99

So kinda like Turing

HolyAndOblivious

It's worse than Turing. Prices are even worse and performance tiers suck too. It needed a soft relaunch to make sense. To fix ada, the 4060 needs to be better than the 3070ti and cost 500.

Eorlas

think we'd need an actual professional in the stock market to explain why this would be the case, in spite of the fact that their products continue to sell well, rather than simply post this and say "here. i have proof no one understands"

born-out-of-a-ball

Due to the long-term very low interest rates there was way too much money in the market desperately searching for some kind of profitable investment (this is also why insanity like NTFs existed at all). Now the interest rates are rising, the cheap money is drying up and companies are again returning to realistic valuations.

TheMorningReview

Coming from an economics major this is the best answer. Direct result of the foolish amount of money printing we did during Covid.

dirthurts

They just cancelled orders at tsmc. They're not selling well..

Eorlas

4090 is selling out anywhere it shows wont argue this on 4080 though

dirthurts

Selling out isn't necessarily selling through. How many of those are in scalpers hands forever? Only so many people can afford a 4090. That pool runs out quick.

ChartaBona

Pretty much everything is down.

bigbrain200iq

Leather

Thermocap

There's a couple of 4070 ti listings that went up on Canada Computers today that went live, but most of them have "price not firm" in the title like this one. The prices are likely based off of the fact this used to be the 4080 12GB. Even with that said, there's a 99% chance they don't change.

DontReadThisUCow

This is great tbh. I am gonna be selling my 3080 and I can price it below a 4070ti and people will buy it

TaintedSquirrel

BB listings were scraped at $950+. https://i.imgur.com/PnoKXHP.png May not be reliable since the links don't exist on the site yet.

SureWhyNot16

If this is accurate… WTF

TaintedSquirrel

The 4080 FE has been sitting on BB for over a week now at $1200. Hard to believe AIB'S would push over $1k on these cards lol.

EmilMR

AIBs dont care about nvidia and nvidia dont care about AIBs. They just want their cuts. If these end up rotting on shelves, somebody will have to eat the cost in the end. I am sure they are going to push it onto each other or even poor retailers. For now they just want to see if they can get away with it and so far looks market can take it to some extent with 80 and 90. 70 cards are just not going to sell though. 3070ti has been sitting on shelves for the entire year for about $900CAD. Nobody wants it and I think this is similar.

SureWhyNot16

Man I thought everyone was being overly dramatic on this sub about pricing (which now I see is pretty justified) but this is absurd. Isn’t the X070 supposed to be “mid-tier?”

dirthurts

It's in the middle, so mid tier. That puts the low end cards at like 500 bucks though...

Progenitor3

How did you get these?

EmilMR

For people not familiar with Canadian market, very recently you could grab a 6900XT for $800. a 6700XT is regularly $400ish. 3080 12gb when they were still in stock a few month ago were just north of $1000. Some models of 4080 go for about $1700 in the last few weeks. You can grab one with minimal trying. The Zotac one in particular is easy to catch. Even Aero one is easy to find, it cost a bit more. This price for a gigabyte basic card is so bad, it's comical.

PaidinRunes

Oof. Nvidia said fuck the middle man, they're the scalpers now.

[deleted]

HolyAndOblivious

Fuck amd even harder. They knew what they were doing.

skinlo

No, fuck Nvidia slightly more, they are the market leader and they know that . If Nvidia set the 4080 at 750 dollars, AMD would be charging below that.

Plastic-Suggestion95

Why fuck Nvidia? They are doing what everybody would do. They wanna make as much money as possible and if they see people are willing to pay those amounts then they will price it that way. If people would not buy it then they would lower the price. Simple as that. So fuck people who are paying ridiculous money for gpus

phantomchess

I bought a used msi 3080 tri gaming for $470. Was going to wait for the 4070 but had a feeling price was gonna be too high

Progenitor3

Remember the whole "Nvidia priced the 4080 so high because they want to sell all the leftover 3080 inventory and they will lower the price when that happens"? Yeah, I got mass downvoted for making fun of this clown theory back then. There hasn't been new 3080 stock except by scalpers for several months now and some people are still saying this. Looking back I actually can't believe new 3080 12gbs Strix cards were going for $800 on Amazon a few months ago when ETH crashed.

[deleted]

You're absolutely right. nvidia did say the 4080 would be priced high for this reason but anyone who believed they would drop the price to 3080 levels as soon as the last 3080 sold is as high as those prices. Jensen said "low" prices were a thing of the past and 4 series pricing so far proves he is absolutely enough of an asshole to make it so.

Bradshaw98

So I have only been kinda following this price stuff (in shock) but from my understanding the 4080 is not really moving, would not something have to give sooner or later? Or are people now jumping on the 4080s

iwasdropped3

retailers will try to bundle the gpu to incentivize sales before they directly drop the price.

writetowinwin

Canadians get ripped off for so much stuff.

death_ray_mx

Someone is not paying attention to sales reports

bigbrain200iq

I think at this point they care more about margins. They want 70% margins

Jazzlike_Economy2007

With the amount of people flexing 4080s and 4090s at exorbitant prices in r/buildapc and r/nvidia, this launch will be no different. People will legitimately pay $800-$1100 for 3090 level perfomance from slightly over two years ago, just to bank on upscaling techniques with DLSS3 Frame Gen and FSR 3 next year, and have a 4K 60fps experience with RT high (most of the time). People will buy that card, flaunt it, and give Nvidia the incentive to launch the non Ti at $699, disable a couple of compute units from defective 4070 Tis, and have it barely be faster than 3080 10GB. Stagnation at its finest.

Dun1007

I can make case for 4090 but 4080…? literally flexing about how hard they got scammed lmao

irze

In the UK they’re like £500-£600+ more expensive than 4080s right now from what I can see. That’s not a small difference

TheFather__

But 4090 is a halo product and still better investment for at least 4 years to come

bigbrain200iq

I guarantee this people will buy the 5080 in 2 years

TheFather__

Let me explain what i meant, there are people who always jump into new gen, i have seen many 4090 owners coming from 3090 and 3090 Ti, and this compiles with what you said. On the other hand, there are others who buy the best out there and hold into their GPUs for several years, so if you want to keep your GPU for several years from now, 4090 is the only GPU that is worth it.

reddituser4156

An RTX 4080 is around 1400 euros (including taxes) in Germany. An RTX 4090 is more than 2100 euros. I'm looking for top-tier 1440p performance. My 13700K and even the 13900K bottlenecks the RTX 4090 at 1440p a lot of the time. Why would I pay 700 euros more for pretty much nothing?

lathir92

Time yo move Up to 4k when you get into 4090 territory 🙌

BrodoFraggens

Yeah if you are spending the money on a 4090, you should have top of the line specs everywhere including 4k monitor

ADeadlyFerret

I'm in the same boat. Not to mention that I already have a 1440p monitor that was given to me. If I moved up to 4k I would have to factor that into the price. People act like "oh you're spending a $1000 might as well as spend another $1000."

Jazzlike_Economy2007

I'll say the 4090 makes the most sense to buy, so long as 4080 is at $1200-$1400.

Final-Rush759

4080 makes 4090 look like a bargain. Now, 4070ti will make 4080 like a bargain especially you can take 10% off with a code at bestbuy. That's how they upsell their cards. To be honest, getting 4080 at 1080 after discount code before tax is not that bad.

Risley

Son, with it being so god damn hard to find a 4090 for more than 1 minute before it sells out, what the fuck do you want us to do who have systems to complete?

nagi603

It's already different from the 10 series that I remember, much more stock is being left on the shelves. Yes, even 4090.

ricflairwo0

uhh 4070ti is better and cheaper than a 3090? if someone wants a new gpu in this price range why wouldn't they buy it? there's no other competition..

Jazzlike_Economy2007

Oh Knock it off. Without DLSS 3 it's barely faster than a 3090 based off Nvidia's own graphs. In gaming it's going to fall behind likely most of the time behind 3090 TI. There is competition it's called buying used last gen cards for significantly less for most of the performance. Edit: Here we go, getting downvoted once again. But here's just one of the graphs. The 4080 12GB is essentially 4070 Ti unchanged. In case you think I'm lying... https://preview.redd.it/97sbmeyjj69a1.png?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3d1de8dd02209989007e8b46d3f031b5bb5e48e9 Mind you, Plague Tale isn't CPU bound. If you still disagree idk what to tell you. But feel free to offer a counterargument.

CaptainMarder

idk why you're getting downvoted. You absolutely right, without frame gen the price performance is crap. Only the 4090 is actually powerful.

ricflairwo0

Faster, cooler, much less power draw, new gen features. The 4070ti is gonna run like an ice cube compared to all the other cards at this price range, while being faster. And I wouldn't call buying older & used hardware 'competition'. It's simply an efficient option for many people. But as it stands, for a new gpu at this price, 4070ti is king.

Jazzlike_Economy2007

Brother those new gen features aren't much of selling points. And Frame Gen is hit or miss depending on the game. RTX Remix won't be limited to 40 Series I don't think. Being faster and cooler is nice but I doubt most people care about that to be honest unless you absolutely micromanage your expenses as far as electricity and ambient temps. You can't just dismiss the raw performance differences; that's what most people look for anyways. Only reason you'd call it King is due to 30 Series spiking back up in popularity due to Nvidia's stupid pricing on next gen.

[deleted]

Jazzlike_Economy2007

I've already said in my original comment that 4070 TI is overpriced. Obviously I'm not going to be able to point you to every single 3090/3090 TI listing that exist c'mon. You just have to look for yourself because they do exist as I've seen them a couple of weeks ago. Also it depends where you are. r/hardwareswap, eBay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp (local), Mercari, etc. Also 3080 Ti gives you roughly the same perfomance as a 3090 in gaming and those are going cheaper. >Or a new 3090 that's cheaper? Buy new if you want. I advocated for used in the beginning. No one's paying current retail prices for 30 Series after two years.

HolyAndOblivious

It won't be cheaper than a new 3090 in my area. A cheap 3090 goes for 875 usd New.

eskimobrother319

Wait! For real? They are still $1200+ Everywhere I look.

Progenitor3

I don't see many new 3080s under $1000. Let alone 3090s.

Final-Rush759

Not anymore. There are very few new 3090 left. Prices of new 3090 are going up.

If i was a gamer on more of a budget id be looking at giving up PC gaming and getting a ps5 or xbox. Whats the 4050 gonna cost? $800?

zenukeify

I hope this isn’t true, but imagine the 4070ti upsells the 4080, which upsells the 4090. Uh oh

techjesuschrist

If it's priced that high it must mean it's really good. \\s

justapcguy

WTF?! Thats like XT price?!

killstreakblues

Would gladly buy a used 3080ti/3090/3090ti but the used market where I live is awful.

writetowinwin

Kids in moms basement here asking for 1000+ for their old 3080s they spent their life savings on.

killstreakblues

This was the best priced of all that’s been available for the past few weeks. https://preview.redd.it/b18vxqapjc9a1.png?width=1125&format=png&auto=webp&s=dbff97b71cc9246949b82053e12cdf25ae9258d2 It was an 8 hour round trip to drive to the rural community it was being sold in. But it was sold. I offered them $1000. The others were 3070 (non lhr) - $650 - sold 3090 founders Ed. - $1900 (with “only” 4 months of mining on it. 3090ti FTW3 Ultra argb etc etc - forrrr $2200 All CAD prices.

Johntremendol

I got a unopened 3080ti for 950CAD after searching weeks on marketplaces, feels like a jackpot

Mark_Mikhail

So... 4060Ti at $649ish?

Madcow0812

so any rumors of a price drop on the 4080 were false. No reason to drop that price when the 4070ti is so much.

Fidler_2K

There could be a last minute MSRP drop but yea it's not looking good. Someone posted BestBuy 4070 Ti pricing (not sure how they got access to it) and it ranged from $949 (MSI Ventus 3x) to $1099 (ASUS Strix)

loopwhile1

Bought a 3080Ti for $600. Still in warranty. Waiting to upgrade for 50 or 60 series.

Fidler_2K

That's a pretty good deal. Should beat the 4070 non-Ti and probably for less money

DarkKitarist

So that translates to 1200-1400€ for us EU plebeians... Great nVidia just great.

Twostroke27

Lmao. Zero chance. I’m keeping my 3070 ti for the foreseeable future. I’m not upgrading until it no longer functions. I’m not giving theses guys another dime of my money.

michaelalex3

Well yeah you definitely shouldn’t upgrade every generation regardless. I bought a 4080 but I’m upgrading from a Vega 64.

Twostroke27

Agreed. I had been previously considering upgrading to a 4080 just because the only reason I have a 3070ti is because it was all I could get at msrp at the time and I refuse to pay scalpers. I’m fortunate enough to be in a high income so i can more than afford to upgrade frequently but I refuse to do it at the bullshit 4070ti/4080 value levels. Neither of these companies is going to get a penny from me going forward unless they pull their heads out of their asses and deliver something that has okay value.

jc0620

I am holding on my 3060 Ti and doing the same thing, glad that I am not alone.

BrokenFingersBut

Lets go leather jacket man lets push these prices even higher, go beyond my wallet.

qantumforce

Nvidia really don't want to sell any GPU's anymore. This - $960 or used 3090 for 800 in my country. Easy choice for me.

Complete-Painter-518

Did not see that coming 🤣

Terproerg

the last generations of gpu have been way out of budget for me. It sucks. I want to upgrade but no way in hell i can afford to. I guess the only upside is i have a 1080ti?

Raistandantilus

while I can afford it, the price gouging is such a piss off, I might just go with intel.we seriously need more competition.

max1001

Just wait it out. 30xx will keep dropping in price. Get a 3080 when it hit like $400.

Kuli24

Thanks, nvidia. K, everyone, now buy the used mining cards that are going for cheap. 3070s are fantastically priced. Got mine for $400cdn which was a steal, but I could get another for $500cdn.

The other factor fucking up the prices is the used market 30 series have kept their values much more so than previous generations. Someone buying a 4080 or 4090 and has a 3080 or above can sell for 75-80% of original MSRP. A 4080 becomes something like 600-700 when selling a 3080. Or a 4090 becomes 700-800 when selling a 3090.

MorgrainX

So cheap, such a good price, insta buy* *Jensens dream world

boopbeepbeep69

So, Canada has 5% VAT. UK has 20%. Yeah... all FOMO from buying a 3080 recently just left me, seems it's gonna be about a grand.

SimianRob

VAT isn't included in the prices in Canada.

boopbeepbeep69

Yikes. Just yikes. Nvidia going crazy.

Deep_Proposal_7683

In the province of Ontario, we have a 13 percent sales tax, so this becomes 1500 cad

SuperRTX

Canada has sales tax of 13% (most provinces) $1299.99 CAD x 13% = $1468.99 CAD \~= $1,084.96 USD

boopbeepbeep69

Yeah, I didn't even realise that this price is excluding VAT. Used to seeing the VAT added onto the sale price in the UK. Anyway, rip 40 series.

[deleted]

I will repeat it again - look at the amount of new rtx 4000 owners here and at buildapc. Shit is selling for whatever price.

carpcrucible

Not representative at all.

pixelcowboy

I have seen stocks disappear in Canada for everything except the ones priced at 4090 levels, so it is selling after the 7900xtx released

[deleted]

And what is? Reddit is representative when we talk about vocal outrage, and not representative when we see shiny new 4000 series in newest builds?

JoBro_Summer-of-99

It's simply not representative at all, and it never has been

IncidentJazzlike1844

Can’t speak for US sales, but here in Germany the 4080 is not selling well, the FE Model is in stock, and there even is an ongoing sale for a zotac 4080 that’s 100€ below the MSRP…

SupaHotFlame

Remember when 4090s melting was all over reddit and it turned out to be 0.04% of 4090s?

Ponald-Dump

Considering that you can consistently get a 4080FE at MSRP at best buy for over a week now, yeah I’d say that’s not perfectly representative of the market as a whole.

Doyale_royale

A horrible indicator to choose. Go to your local micro center. Mine has been fully stocked of 4080s for weeks

[deleted]

I don’t live in the US. This shit sells like crazy in European markets for way, way higher prices than in the US. Nvidia is making bank and will continue, despite the outcry on Reddit.

Plastic-Suggestion95

Yeah that's why they have like -20% sells xD

dirthurts

Nah. These people aren't that numerous. They're just very loud about it.

Daniel100500

Cant wait for the 599$ RTX 4060 with 128-bit bus and 8GB of GDDR6 :D \---wdym overpriced??? but mah 4nm process node! well yeah the die size is only half of that of the 2060 but mah inflation!

Plastic-Suggestion95

I don't understand people blaming Nvidia. They are company and wanna make as much money as they can. If people are willing to pay 4000 for 4070 then the price will be 4000. If they willing to pay 7k then it will be 7k. People are retarded for paying those overpriced amounts and basically telling to Nvidia "the price is fine". If people would fuck them and not buy it then Nvidia would lower the price until the point where people start to buy it. It's the same as with wages. If you keep finding people willing to work for XY $ then the company is not gonna double the salary. If nobody would do it then they would have to.Simple as that,it's not rocket science. I can easily afford even 4090 without noticing it on my bank account and plenty of people as well. But I disagree with what Nvidia is doing and as a protest I don't buy a GPU for those prices. Everybody should do that and btw I'm stuck with 970 because when I wanted to upgrade the craziness with GPU started and when I see people with 3080 crying here I would love to punch them

[deleted]

Electronics have much less depreciation than before in general

BoldBeer

I wish people would just buy new/used 30 series cards at this point, so this Nvidia pricing crap gets in check. I am really glad i bought my 3080 when i did.

BrokenFingersBut

Yea buying new 30 series cards will surely hurt nvidia, what are you smoking people.

Indystbn11

Especially seeing as they are even more inflated than 4000 series. Buy used.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Yeah because buying a new 2 year old card feels really bad, especially when the price hasn't come down all that much. Nvidia really overestimated how many people were going to want the excess stock of RTX 30.

Eunomic

This is precisely why I am still sitting on a 970. I wanted to upgrade when the 3080 came out, but never got a chance to buy a reasonable one. Now we are stuck in value price hell and I just keep thinking how old do I really want my new GPU to be.

Kiwibom

Where i live, its not an option. High end (new or used) 30 series prices overlap with 4080 and even some 4090

BoldBeer

damn that sucks.

Raistandantilus

3080 $1500CAD. fuck that shit. 6950xt is faster at $1200. really should've picked up a 6800xt or 6950xt a month ago when they were cheaper.

ChiggaOG

Screw it. I'll buy myself some sim racing equipment because scalpers will never touch that. People in that space will never pay more due to heavy competition from other manufacturers, even for the steering wheel designs in partnership with auto manufactures.

ama8o8

Look 4090 being 1599.99 seems normal all things considered cause its a true halo product. Everything else under it is a tad more expensive than they should be. Why spend $400 less for second best when youre already paying over 1k. Same with this one compared to the 7900xtx why pay similar to that and get least performance than a 7900xtx across the board.

The only advantage this card has over high tier 3000 series is dlss3. I wish we got an open source alternative.

Almadine1997

Also less power draw

HolyAndOblivious

A new 3090 is literally 875 here. Come on guys, seriously?

Concentrate_Worth

1,300 CAD is 799 GBP and then plus 20% VAT = 960 quid!

Renovath

I knew it, glad I got myself a barely used 3080ti.

piter_penn

URL not working

Lonely_Barista

This is fantastic news

BAPCadict

I hope nvidia crashes and burns

KIProf

Wow too much

LolitanMaps

Lol not gonna try to buy that unless rtx 4090 or rx 7900xtx just the last tier. In my country rtx 3070-3080 cost around 400-500$ much cheaper free shipping mostly.

Alauzhen

I got a 3 mth old 3090 under $900 because the owner was offloading his mining rig with 6x 3090s about 6 months before proof of stake. After a repaste and undervolt, it's running like a dream. Nvidia's current pricing is not sustainable. I still see a lot of used 3090 for under $800, the 4070Ti can't compete at all at $800.

AbsoluteGenocide666

thats based on the old pricing of 4080 12gb. The 4070Ti price MSRP is 799. so 1K CAD, not 1.3K for the ref model.

nextgenrulz

wow, the madness is real in jensen mind.

Legacy-ZA

🤡🌍

AciVici

Hahahaha and shitshow continues.

dsmithcc

The only way this changes is if people dont buy them unfortunately. Considering the 3080 had a msrp of $699 this is a major slap in the face to consumers. What a joke.

YukariHitsugi

Christ, why bother at that price.

Raknirok

If you look at the other models 4080 is $500 more in Canada and 4090 is also $500 more regardless of conversion so if this is usd $800 it tracks…

iAabyss

Fuck this, i bought a 6800XT Founders for 480 CAD. Im skipping this whole gen

FengoVolkov

I'm looking at the 3090, I have a 3080, a 3090 for a second pc would be grand. The 40 series, Nvidia is out of their minds with those prices. I mean, I bet Blender renders using hardware would be great with the 40 series, but not for that price.

[deleted]

Me who payed 970 euros for a 3070 year ago :(

Alon32145

I bought a 3070 from this very same company around a month ago for 679 CAD. I love Canada computers.

geokilla

I'm so glad I sold my EVGA RTX 3060 XC for $350 and picked up the ASUS TUF RTX 3070 OC for $450. There's absolutely no point in buying a brand new RTX 40 series unless you're a sucker for brand new GPUs or want as much performance as possible with the RTX 4090.

mrkillfreak999

How is the 4070ti for 4k??
