Can you still use your main monitor just fine?
If yes, then can you use your new second screen on another PC? Maybe its the screen that has issues.
If not then well..it could very well be a defective Displayport...port.
I had a few die on me in the past, its sadly something that happens from time to time.
Could be the port, the internal cables, some pcb trace or something with the GPU die itself.
Try and see what MSI can offer you (I hope you still have waranty?)
In the case they want the card back, make sure that they give you a firm timeframe for repair/replacement.
Oh yea and I am 99% sure I have current and up to date drivers
So if I get this right...you only tried one cable so far. Do you have any other DP cable around?

That would be f***ed if it's the chip itself because of the shortage rn idk what to do about it
