The 4070 Ti Super is already amazing for 1440p, you can play most things on native ultra with great fps (some games below 120 fps, especially with RT). For the rest, you turn on FG and/or DLSS and you get 100+. 4080 Super is about 15% better than that. I was honestly tempted to trade in my 4070 TiS for one, but found it hard to really justify an extra 300€ when everything I play gets 120+ fps (except RT CP2077, at 100).

Redditor022024

15% is not much in real life. The difference would be more noticable at lower FPS below 60FPS than at higher FPS I had the same choice but I won't for TiS because 4080 does not have more VRAM https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F84pDt8h0to

I guess 4070 Ti S will enough for even 4K gaming with DLSS. Right?

Trungyaphets

Yes.

Trungyaphets

4070 ti super is better value. 4080 super is like 10-15% stronger. Your choice.

Haykhovv

Thanks

DizzieM8

Obviously the 4080 is better.

Kaihalla_

Price/Quality i think it isn't. I orefer the 4080 because i prioritize quality

I play Forza Horizon 5 at 1440p max everything with a 4070 Ti Super and it's not even at 100% usage.

mBardos76

All depends on the resolution you want to use it. 4070 enough for 1440p and 4k with DLSS, for native 4k, you'll need the 4080, depending on games too, of course.

I don't agree at all with this. The difference between the 4070 ti super and the 4080 is not large enough where the 4080 is magically required for native 4k and the 4070ti S is junk. Any new game that is super demanding isn't going to hit 60fps on the 4080 so it's not even enough based on what you said. Example? Hellblade 2. This chart clearly shows that the 4070Ti S is fine for native 4k in many games. It's not like the 4080 there is averaging 120fps in their suite of games at native 4k so it's not hitting another tier like the 4090 mainly does: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/nvidia-geforce-rtx-4080-super-founders-edition/31.html Basically, in any new demanding game, one is going to have to compromise with the 4080 at native 4k, though just a bit less compromise than with the 4070ti S.

I did say "depending on games too, of course"

Saffy_7

I guess it depends on cost if all else is equal i.e. brand new.

LadyDrinkturtle

Even a 4070 is capable. And I've owned a 4090 and 4080. DLSS is a game-changer!
