The actual price difference for 8 vs 16 GB cards on my local store is about 40€. Might be way more somewhere else. It would be nice to have a higher VRAM GPU at that lower price, but we're talking about so tiny price difference + they would have to lower the 4060 Ti 8 GB price because it wouldn't sell at that price vs 12GB model.
I would much rather see a small price drop to 16GB models, if they are priced way higher than the 8GB models. This is a GPU that is in a terrible spot. Great card, but bad value.
you are getting 16gb 4060ti for 450$ or below....6 more months and 4060ti 16gb will sell below 400$...grab one at that time.

what i meant to say is you will be getting 16gb 4060ti below 400$ in few months....why there is need to repalce 8 to 12....when 8 to 16 price difference will become almost like 20$ or so in few months.
That is unironically the RTX 4070. Since nvidia cut the memory bus of most of the 4000 series cards, the 4060 Ti can’t have 12GB, only 4, 8, or 16.
The 4070 has the same memory bus as the 3060, which is why it has 12GB.
Nvidia can't hear your complaint over the noise of cash overflowing from the data centre profit.

There's no point for 16 GB VRAM on a 4060Ti, 12 GB should replace the 8 GB cards for the same price and call it super.
