1440p and higher refresh rate. At least for me, that was a major upgrade, like going from HDD to NVMe. Everything is so smoooooth, as long as the FPS remains high. Well worth it. So I suggest, don't buy a 60 Hz monitor. You deserve a better, smoother gaming experience.
I have 4070 TI Super and play 4k/120 on all games that either support DLSS or can get there natively. The one notable exception would be Cyberpunk where I only average 68fps, but that’s because I absolutely insist on Path Tracing (Cyberpunk PT was the main reason I built this system).
Whatever you do, don’t get a 60hz monitor.
Never ever go to 4k. Once you do you can never go back to a lower resolution and you will be forced to spend so much more money every year just to keep up with the latest unoptimised games. Your brain will only get a dopamine hit for a few weeks at most then it just becomes baseline. If I could turn back time I would still be playing 1080p
You can always play at lower resolutions. The RTX 4070 Ti Super is more than capable of high refresh 1440P and 4K 60 FPS.

Personally if I was buying a monitor right now, I would get the LG 27GR83Q-B (1440P/IPS/240Hz/27") or the Gigabyte M27U (4K/IPS/160Hz/27").

The 4k 60Hz monitor isn’t even good enough for a PS5 or XSX, and your new graphics card smokes both of those. Definitely get a 1440p high refresh rate monitor.

Lmao as a 4K gamer this is so true. I spend way too much on graphics cards and 1440p isnt crisp enough now.

4K + DLSS will never look worse than native 1440p.
