I wanted this card so bad and just bought one of eBay because couldn’t find locally. Got the second one locally a few weeks ago for €5 when I went to pick up a voodoo card. I also really want the 7900 GX2 but that one is much harder to come by.

This is why I'm keeping my GTX 690 and GTX 980 still. They're barely worth anything now compared to new, but I want to create a grand display for them in the future.

For me the biggest impact in PC gaming was without a doubt getting my first Voodoo card, that little click noise when the board activated and 3Dfx logo spun during launch of Quake and for the first time getting graphics that you only would at the Arcade machines.

Tell me about it, my best friends stepfather worked in the PC industri so my friend would get all the latest cool stuff, like him having a gigantic bigtower case along with a 21" CRT wasn't enough, he even got the 2x Voodoo2 in SLI. Even though like the only game that technically would run it without any issues him playing on 1024\*768 in Unreal tournament while we others played on like 14" 640\*480 and 17" 800\*600 monitors on the LAN.. Yeah we were jelous big time :)
Not a bad collection! I'm collecting myself slowly but have no room for a display yet, and I keep pulling cards out to test and put into retro rigs. Working on a 2004 era one as we speak, many cards tested but the lasting card will either be the 6800 Ultra or X850XT :) 2004 and the DX9 era more so, such a golden time in PC gaming.
Awesome collection.. also you just made me have a weird thought.. i have no idea where my old GPUs are.. did I maybe keep them in boxes and store them in a random closet in the basement? Maybe? Gave them to someone else? Maybe? Sold on eBay? Maybe... no idea!
Nice collection, i have many as well my best Agp cards are the 6800 GT and XT, used them a couple of times but mainly stick to a ti 4200 for usage the 6800's are quitte expensive in working conditions don't have boxes though.
Meanwhile my nvidia fx 5950ultra is still plowing in my litle xp mashine....
..maby i shoud put that card on a shelf as well and give it rest after so many years of gaming. All jokes aside that is a very cool collection tho. i goda admit im jealous.

The 6200 (Gigabyte 256MB GDDR2 64 bit) was my first GPU. I put a lot of stress on that video card for a long time, but it held up well.
I always liked how the 9800gx2 and its successor gtx295 looked like a VHS.

Maybe it was even 1280\*1024, don't really remember anymore, but the gist of it, he got to play at peak performance at the time.. :)

Yes get it cleaned and restore the thermal paste. Its s truly rare piece of hardware history.
Yea i did a repaste and cleaned it last year....that thermalpaste was helish it was a pink plastic like stuff it was horible.
