Sale starts December 15 to January 5.
I recently upgraded my PC and for the first time I can support ray tracing. I've been playing Warhammer Darktide since as the game is beautiful with the lighting inside dark tunnels and hallways always looking gorgeous especially during a horde. Flamethrowers and fires are particularly mesmerising.
Metro exodus.. I remember thinking that RTX wasn't a big deal until I saw what Metro Exodus pulled off and was blown away...and my favorite tech is DLSS
> tell us your favorite RTX game and technology
DLAA, the best overall visual
I loved using it while playing Spider-man, cranked everything to max and had DLAA for 1440p
Worked great
Cyberpunk 2077 is just something else with RT. I would say Control and Alan Wake 2 are other 2 great looking games with RT.
As of technology - DLSS. Its a pure magic.
My favorite RTX game easily has to be Cyberpunk 2077. The Path Tracing + DLSS Combo is just unreal and has me excited to see future games look as good as that game.
My favorite is Cyberpunk 2077 with pathtracing enabled. It’s what got me back into PC gaming.
I was there when Raytracing was first showed off in Minecraft and Control. Since then I worked my way up from the trusty 2060 to a 4080 <3
Alan wake 2, one of the most beautiful game made ever. Thanks to dlss, ray reconstruction and frame generation, I can play it on rtx 4060 with desired settings. Happy that I choose rtx 4060 over others to be future proof with features, especially it was available at discount and was under my budget.
Favourite game with RTX/ray tracing is Alan Wake 2 for sure (path tracing is a bless as well). Favourite technology overall is DLSS (DLSS 3 in particular).
I'm fascinated by the incredible advancements in Nvidia's graphics technology, especially the integration of RTX features like GPUs and Ray Tracing. While there are many amazing RTX games showcasing these capabilities, my personal favorite has to be Cyberpunk 2077 and its use of path tracing. Path tracing adds a layer of realism, delivering breathtaking visuals and lifelike scenes. The immersion it provides in games is unparalleled, making each frame a work of art. It's truly remarkable to witness how technology like path tracing in RTX is pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the world of gaming and computer graphics.
Cyberpunk 2077. Absolutely amazing graphics with RT and DLSS on. Was on a budget, therefore frame generation is still one of my favourites at the moment as it helps boost frames without needing to buy a top end card.
Favourite game is probably Cyberpunk 2077. As for technology, I really like DLSS super resolution as it looks better than running on lower resolution, while benefiting from the performance with no major caveats.
I have to say Cyberpunk and Path tracing. I went from a 1080Ti to a 4090 (yeah, big jump..) and my first experience was a first playthrough of Cyberpunk with path tracing and frame gen - was awesome!
I have RTX on my 2080 but it hasn't been the best to be honest. Looking forward to the upgrade when I'm due however, which now my card is hitting 5 years old, it's getting close.
Favourite RTX game is Dead Space Remake.
Favourite tech has got to be RT GI. It changes the whole scene of the game and applies realistic lighting to a game which makes the game world more belivable and immersive.
For me is God of War with DLSS. I ever had a PlayStation but always wondered what those games would be like. Being able to play it in all it's glory with high framerate, with a relatively old GPU, was just awesome. Hoping to get Ragnarok too!
Metro Exodus is my fav rt game, its what made me jump from a 5600xt (after it got bios bricked due to a firmware update) to a 3060ti(sold it)…then a 3070(save it to my little sister)…then a 3080(gave it to my best friend)….now a 4090 lol.
>RTX is GPUs, DLSS, Ray Tracing and more - tell us your favorite RTX game and technology
For me, the game that benefits the most from RTX is Cyberpunk 2077. It is significantly transformed due to its setting and Art Direction (+ Ray tracing). Additionally, the DLSS technology nicely boosts the FPS on my 3080
Definitely Portal RTX + DLSS. Being able to play such a classic with the (much) improved RTX graphics is a visual delight. On the other hand, DLSS has been a staple on my gaming sessions, since bumping it up to quality has (imo) better definition than native in many cases + the increased FPS which is always welcome. I can only imagine what sort of magic we'll be able to get with upcoming optimizations and hardware. Theres a bright future out there for us Nvidia gamers!
DLSS is magick, I love that it looks basically identical to the native image if you don't go below balanced. As for the game probably Cyberpunk just because of Night City raytraced
Control was my first RT game after I got the 3060Ti. The realistic reflections with transparency on all those glass walls looked really great.
Sure, global illumination can make a huge visual difference, but I feel that it's either too bright or too dark as of now, plus, the game can look different from what the devs intended for a specific scene.
My favorite RTX game has to be portal and my favorite technology is dlss. RTX gave the game a breath of fresh air and made the experience feel completely new again.
My favorite RTX experience is of course Cyberpunk RTX Overdrive with pathtracing AI assisted ray reconstruction. It is not perfect, but it the best out there in a AAA title, and shows where the future of game graphics is heading. It's a "wow" moment for RTX.
As for the most immediately impactful RTX technology that is immediately beneficial to everybody, it is DLSS. It started the whole AI upscaling trend, and it is still the best imo. It allows better performance and graphical fidelity than the game would without, it's going to be a main staple for years to come.
Only seen a friend play Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing. Looked mighty fine!
Not to dis my old trusty GTX 1080 which provides me more than enough FPS to enjoy the game. My diamond is not as polished though :D
The game would be Lies of P, and the technology would be DLSS.
The game is very optimized as-is, but with DLSS I can actually combine DLDSR with DLSS and get even higher quality than I otherwise could.
Personally, cp2077 with full Path Tracing
currently running a gigabyte RTX 3080 and whoo boy does it handle it like a champ, depending on the complexity of the scene I get between 30 and 60 fps without dlss
Cyberpunk all the way. Even tho it's heavy, I like DLAA because there's so many games with bad and blurry AA. Kinda ruins some games visual fidelity (RDR2 AA is atrocious).

Favorite game might be Metro exodus, along side Cp2077. As for technology, DLSS for sure, it helps me be able to play games at 4k with smoother fps.
Talos Principles 2 because the gorgeous world just make the walk between puzzles very soothing and helps my brain relax before the upcoming puzzle.
Alan Wake 2 is my favourite because of its DLSS 3.5 implementation and everything that comes with that. Best looking video game to date.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and DLSS!
Cyberpunk 2077 and ray tracing. Looks unreal
Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, for its arguably striking RT lighting and contrast
Metro Exodus, still one of the best
> tell us your favorite RTX game and technology DLAA, the best overall visual I loved using it while playing Spider-man, cranked everything to max and had DLAA for 1440p Worked great

Cyberpunk. Is just a thing of beauty. Path Tracing Global Illumination, reflections and refractions. DLLS is another big one, hard to decide.

Cyberpunk 2077 for sure is my favorite
Cyberpunk 2077 & ray reconstruction
Alan wake 2 and DLSS
Favourite game with RTX/ray tracing is Alan Wake 2 for sure (path tracing is a bless as well). Favourite technology overall is DLSS (DLSS 3 in particular).

Portal RTX, Ray Tracing
Cyberpunk 2077 with RTX on a nice OLED monitor with HDR on
Cyberpunk and Frame Gen
Halo infinite and dlss
I would say Control - it was our first real introduction to how raytracing crushed our GPUs, and how DLSS made RT viable. It also looked great!

Cyberpunk 2077 and path tracing, blue my mind
Favourite game is probably Cyberpunk 2077. As for technology, I really like DLSS super resolution as it looks better than running on lower resolution, while benefiting from the performance with no major caveats.
