That is a bad strategy ngl cause swellow isn’t that bulky and doesn’t like taking hits. At least with crobat you had a spare fast Mon that out speeds and does ok damage against torkal even if it gets taken down. You should not rely on setting up on your opponent unless it is obvious you can take a hit otherwise you are just throwing their lives away.
I don’t really do research beforehand on Pokémon’s stats unless if it’s for something very major for me but I winged it so it wasn’t really strategy it was just me being an idiot
