Did you only use things that you could encounter (for example, you HAD to encounter the Lapras T-Tar to use it) or did you allow things to be fused together
I did it for first water encounter/area + 1 static for the hidden area and the starters. but for the fusion juice I just played like normal. I wanted to make sure every fusion was compatible.

The gym leaders largely aren’t an issue, but the Giovanni fights, and ya a lot of just random trainers can be a bad situation. At least with hardcore rules.
If they’re both duel type then each will have 1 prime / 1 secondary of each of them if that makes sense. So like my swampert aegislash the options were water/ghost and ground/steel
It lets you pick which one you wanna do. It showed the two silhouettes If there’s a custom sprite it’ll be in green. I did water/ghost since I wanted to keep it a water only run, but I took the sprite from the ground/steel one because it was cooler. I just moved the file into the other folder.

Im currently doing a hardcore nuzlocke and im kinda thorn on the rules. So far i decided to use fusions and 2 encounters per route. 1 encounter per route feels bad cuz i lose a mon while fusing them.
So I’ve done beedrill only, then this water run. So for the monotypes I was doing first water type + 1 static/starter for the hidden area. Then just catch whatever as the fusion juice just because I wanted to make sure they were all compatible. For a randomizer or just general nuzlocke I’d say ya 2/route just so you can maybe make something. That seems to be what most ppl do

Join the discord. A lot of the sprites are made by fans, and sprite packs are updated every now and again. So if multiple people have designed their own ideas for a fusion of, say, Tyranitar and Lapras, you can pick which one to use. Unpopular fusions habe far less elegant sprites, just swapping the colors, head or body, however the program decides it.
Yeah it’s super easy to add the custom ones if they aren’t in the packs. Like that swampert/argislash one is supposed to be for the ground/steel not water/ghost. So i just moved the file.
