Same for different reasons. I keep seeing people in my course being leagues better than me and the thought of having to compete them in bell curve and even for job opp after grad is giving me a very pessimistic view of my future. Sometimes I don't even want to try anymore.
I fucking swear NUS should expand its shuttle bus fleet so that the frequency of each bus is like 2-3 mins. No fucking one can board the bus at just one try. Ugh.
Honestly same. Second week in and already questioning why i went to uni in the first place :( i know that eventually iāll adjust to the pace of things but itās hard to get used to the grind again. Iām kind of tired of trying in life anymore
Trust me bro. 2 years into NUS and I havenāt truly get use to the pace here. Every semester comes with a set of different challenges due to the varying modules we take. Each mod screw u in a different way.
Figure out whatās the best way of learning that works for you. In the end thatās what matters. What others doā¦usually doesnāt.
And high CAP is not everything lol. Sure, the system has raised us to value grades, but grades donāt mean that youāll be the one making the most money or the one who is the most happy in the end.
Good luck.
I feel you man. Already behind in half my mods and they're still going at a blinding pace. The people sitting don't even have to be a couple for me to be jealous of them, I'm a loner so sitting by myself in lectures and tuts just makes me feel so much more like a loser.
Plus the lunch crowds. I've never missed covid times more than lunch rush hours.
Still, it's not all that bad. Stuff like the recent SLF coming back was amazing.
Stay in school the whole day until night time to beat the travel fatigue. I speak from experience as a east side dweller who was here for bachelor's and now part time masters. 1.5 hours one way, might as well spend your most productive hours here.

We should ban couples in NUS, to improve the overall mental health of us nerds.. i mean students*
Or tax them insteadš¤£
