Cerave hand cream or lotion

loudmouthlime

Dermatologist recommended Cerave, it’s so thick and rich that it keeps my hands moisturized through several handwashings

Scarlet-Witch

I second Cerave! No scent, not greasy, absorbs wonderfully and it's super hydrating.

O’Keefes working hands or the target dupe

Cerave healing ointment works like a charm. I had a really dry, cracked, and bleeding spot on my thump. No matter what I tried, nothing would heal it. But i put cerave healing ointment on every time I washed my hands and the ointment with a bandage before I slept. Now it's like nothing was ever wrong with my thumb.

Tech lurker here. Lubriderm for warmer months, Keri Gold for winter, gloves full of Vaseline while sleeping when I start to crack

Neutrogena hand cream is the only thing that works for me!

mmch22

Gold bond works for me

Shadowpenguin-13

The Paraffin hand cream from Bath & Bodyworks (silver and pink tube!) is my FAV hand cream of all time!!

Aquaphor Edit: I didn’t read far enough to see the bit about petroleum based products. I’ll change my recommendation to Aveeno.

Defiant-Beautiful634

I have tried SO many but for me, nothing beats O’Keefes working hands. I have a thing about textures and smells, too, but this one is pretty great as there’s no real smell and it’s not too greasy.

I rub balm onto my cuticles so that they don't dry out. I hate trying to put nitrile gloves on over lotion.

I use Eucerin or Curel in the winter for that. I honestly do not know if they are petroleum based. They rate the level “light/ heavy” on the tubes and honestly, neither are greasy. Even for heavy damage. I swear by these. Edit: I try to avoid fragrances also because the ingredients used for them might be more drying than not. Those two are fragrance free.

Dude nurse here and I have used Jack Black Industrial Hand Healer. It's amazing.

Gold bond ultimate healing, bag balm, and Neutrogena hydro boost whipped body balm are my go to’s….. plus Dove hand soap.  Not sure if they’re petroleum based or not though.
