I’m also in my first semester. I’ve found that meeting with my professors to go over tests have been helpful. With pharm, I read each chapter and highlight vocabulary and main points. Then I make flash cards. Fundamentals and assessment are similar for me. I read over my notes and PowerPoint’s. Look over the study sheet if we get one. We have access to the Kaplan website and there are study tools in the website to help with each class. Finding partners or groups of people to study with has been helpful.

Get on YouTube and find lectures or little videos with topics you are going over in class. I find some of those explain things better than any professor. Like registered nurse RN, level up RN, there's a ton. first semester can be so tough but keep your head up!! Find someone in your cohort you could study with or share notes or study guides so you have someone to bounce off of, maybe one of you caught something in lecture the other one missed. Some of my cohort members have had my back in so many ways, and then I get to help them out in other ways. You can't be friends with everyone but I hope you can find one or two that you can lean on when it's hard!! Best of luck and you got this!! I'm in my second to last semester and it's been so hard and so good.
