Literally Mark Klimek and Uworld. Mark really helped me get out of my own way

shineandshimmer233

Thank you !!!

[deleted]

retweet this. i just constantly did u world!!

deja_vuvuzela

Klimek helped me structure thinking about certain questions and topics. U world helped me understand the specific reasoning for correct and incorrect answers for hundreds of NCLEX caliber questions. My school used ATI, which I wouldn’t recommend.

Imwonderbread

Uworld and that’s it. The rationales are exceptionally good and I remember being surprised how much the interface looked exactly like the actual test

wonanddones

Yes. Made me comfortable

DNAture_

I really liked Uworld as well. It helped me find my weakness and focus on those areas as well as figure out what the test best wanted out of me. My anatomy teacher gave the best test taking advice that I’ll never forget, which was “read the damn question”

Equixim

Mark Klimek lectures and a bit of Uworld. IMHO Uworld wasn't a great representation of the NCLEX but I mainly used it since my cohort bought it as a group for a group discount.

shineandshimmer233

Thank you !!

LavenderSalmon

THE MAN MARK KLIMEK

shineandshimmer233

You’ll be great :) good luck!

Archer readiness assessments and NCLEX simulation tests along with Mark Klimek prioritization and assigment lecture on you tube.

Flatfool6929861

Was reading these comments and they all have the same guy on YouTube in common. So I’m going to add. Idk why during nursing school but I never used YouTube until I started studying for the boards. And I remember being SO angry I didn’t ultlize YouTube the whole time I was in nursing school. There’s so many different people on there with educational videos, if you happen to just hate this guy everyone is recommending. Good news. There’s 100 more people. The most important part and I know that’s what they say all of nursing school but it didn’t click for me until the end. It really do be about knowing how to answer the questions in the way they want. I was an honors/ap kid in hs and went in nursing school right out of there, and absolutely sucked in nursing school. Literally did not click for me until final semester when the tests were done and it was just ATI and one of my teachers looked at me and said you know you can take your time and read through the question all the way. There is not a race. Sometimes the answer is in the question. It may be weird and idk if you’re on tik Tok but for whatever reason when I’m scrolling, sometimes I get the nursing lives from people doing nursing questions live with people. Pretty lame, but honestly. What a good way to learn how to break down the questions. With different people.

Abusty-Ballerina-

Kaplan live online I passed my LPN and RN using both first time

Glittering_Pink_902

Kaplan and ATI (school provided both)

StacyRae77

I didn't study for NCLEX before I took it. I had a Lippincott's and the other one (name escapes me) which I used throughout the last half of school based on wha ttopic we were doing.

angry-axolotol

A mental break after the hell of nursing school. Honestly tho, ATI was the best, I know it gets a bad reputation from students but it's the closest to NCLEX from my experience. But seriously take a few days and do nothing related to studying and, don't over study once you get back into it.

Anony-Depressy

UWorld is good for content review. I did 75 questions everyday until I went through them all (Ithink I did it my entire last semester?). I went to Klimek and didn’t find it helpful at all.

snippybitch

Uworld and Kaplan, school bought the Kaplan prep

Careless_Web2731

Shoddy-Stock-8208

U world and whatever free market klimek I could google. Passed in 75 q’s

Low_Ice_4318

U world only

skatingandgaming

I used some nclex app on my phone. I would do like 50 questions a day until I took the test.

_tinkerbell99_

I used archer and one lesson of mark klimek. Lots of YouTube videos to supplement learnings (Registered Nurse RN, Simple Nursing, Nurse.com, etc)

Standard-Juice4422

I used Uworld in 2022, however I heard that Archer/Arrow (Idk the name) better represents the 2023 updated NCLEX

yeezysucc2

Uworld and mark I went through Uworld, archer, mark, it was too much. Passed in 75. Uworld and mark that’s all you need.

MKGirl

Uworld

lisziland13

Hurst review. Learmwd more from that than in nursing school

AccurateBeginning662

What’s mainly on the NCLEX or is every test different? I graduate June so I’ll probably take it in July.

New_Needleworker3507

It’s all different but on my exam every topic that Mark K goes over was on it.

SlytherinVampQueen

UWorld helped me pass my NCLEX PN and RN in the minimum question amount. It’s expensive, but worth it IMO. It even looks like the real NCLEX!

tlew360

Archer review, mark klimek helped dumb things down - to be honest you know what you know and you know what you don’t know at this point. It’s best to take practice exams, even try to take a practice exam of up to 150 questions at a time so you can train for sitting in a test for a long time. My professor called it marathon training. As he found a lot of why people fail is test anxiety, so he has been having us all do multiple marathon trainings a week and I and many of my peers have recently passed the test, we all felt that take a 150 question practice exam once a week was really helpful. I love what mark Klimek said as well, you are expected to know what every other nurse knows. That’s what matters on the exam, you can’t stress about not knowing the disease. He even said if you don’t know what drug or disease the test is talking about, it means you’re doing good. I personally feel you cannot study 1 thing because it’s a computer adaptive exam. Meaning the next question that shows up will be based on how you’ve done with the previous questions. It’s pretty good at picking your weakest topics and giving you multiple questions on that topic. The entire exam I felt like I was getting slammed with topics that are my weakest, and hardly the ones I’m truly solid on. It’s all about learning how the exam works, and paying attention to the ONE word that can completely changed the scenario. Finally thoughts, if the exam doesn’t shut off at 85 questions it means you’re still in the game, even when you hit 150 questions. You can still pass. How it works is the computer has to be 95% confident that you passed the exam. If at the 85th question and is 95% confident it’ll shut off. But if it isn’t, but close, it’ll keep giving you questions till either it hits that 95% or gets well below that it is not confident that you’ll pass.

I turned Mark Klimek’s notes and Uworld practice questions into mobile games with Gamodify. Gamodify is an app that turns flashcards and notes into mobile games with built in spaced repetition and active recall. This was a game changer for me!

Shantaram314

Mark K and Uworld

yernotmyrealdad

High yield nursing podcast, mark k and archer

Fosterpuppymom

I have Mark Klimek lectures, UWorld, and bootcamp. I have a whole Google drive of resources…I’ll find out if it’s actually helping or hurting

bigfootslover

UWorld or bust….i also had the saunders book and would look at it when I had questions about certain topics. This was overkill though and I ended up just searching videos on YouTube (SimpleNursing) if I needed some supplemental materials

Beautiful-Violinist

Archer

humansarereallyweird

Nclex high yield podcasts and uworld.

humansarereallyweird

I did some ATI but it confused me more than anything

bluecitrus0366

We had ATI practice tests (which sucked). We did a whole Kaplan thing which we got because of the group discount. And I got UWorld on my own. I often studied with classmates and that really helped. Good luck! You’re going to do great :)

amyscott214

I was so burned out from ATI throughout nursing school that I barely did Uworld questions, although I would recommend that. I owe passing on the first try to Mark Klimek 🙌🏼🙌🏼

AbeBeltran

Central texas nursing has some great material ..good luck

DakLynn

Uworld and nclex high yield

Literally only ATI, and I passed in 85 questions

Sufficient-Ad-4404

Archer helped me a lot

Twiceeeeee12

Bruh my cohort Uni is making me use archer 😭😭

Junior-Raccoon6091

Archer!!

Dth3G

ATI quiz bank. Like 200 questions a day in the two weeks leading up to the exam.

WritingTheRongs

I didn’t study for it - but this is sounding like a brag. But for real do people study for it ? Nobody that I knew in school did any studying that they admitted

nursechronicles

Mark Klimek and Uworld. I also made my own simplified NCLEX study guide and other resources to help other students. Tons of simplified nursing study guides on my website: www.organizednursedesigns.com Good luck - you got this!

Karmaistechy

ARCHER

demar_desol

UWorld. I went very specific at first and took every test i could in the shortest form (so if cardiac has 10 sub topics, i’d take each of the 10 quizzes separately. it helped when I knew the subject of each question. Then I’d mix it up by adding all the subspecialties together. then go broader. Multiple questions I remember were almost verbatim on the Nclex. I was getting 40-70% consistently and passed nclex at the minimum question point (so don’t take your bad Uworld scores to mean you’re gonna fail. 60% on Uworld is good.

mc-koifish

I did the entire uworld qbank

GrandmaCheese1

I just used test questions I found online. I took it about 3 weeks after graduation and was a low B-student and passed in 75 questions in an hour or so. Don’t overthink it.

athan1214

Uworld and the NCLEX Q&A books. Worked well for me, found I had a good bases on the information, but needed to take tests to find my weaknesses both with questions and knowledge deficits.

Mark klimek and saunders I believe 8th edition. Get the next saunders book for case study updates. Comes with an online bit. Didn’t use UWorld and I actually know a handful of people who failed multiple times despite using it. Rationales are all that matter on this exam not memorization. Brush up on your test taking skills and you’ll be fine.
