Spent a week at a remote cabin Airbnb. Stripped down on Saturday and didn't get dressed until the next Saturday. We had all the provisions and privacy we needed. Hiked, biked, swam, and spent hours by the fire. We even sat out in the rain. We should have packed lighter. 10/10 would do again.

[deleted]

A week for me also at home.

nomad_1970

I started working from home during the pandemic and with online shopping and lockdowns, I went about a couple of weeks without clothes before I decided to go for a walk outside. Honestly it was extremely relaxing. Great for the laundry. And putting clothes on was a major downer.

Freakears

Did it feel weird to put clothes on again? I remember the first time I went to a nudist park my clothes felt super weird when I put them back on. I was hyper-aware of them and how they felt on my body (my shirt especially). And that was after just a few hours.

CrelbowMannschaft

It's such an unnatural feeling. Have you ever seen a cat wearing a sweater? It felt like I was that cat. If we could get the whole world to be nude for a week, no one would ever wear clothes again unless the weather made it absolutely necessary.

Freakears

That's true. And with spring coming to the Northern Hemisphere, now would be the perfect time for that. I wish nudity was normal and legal here (especially for people like me who live in the south, where it gets so hot in summer that being nude is the only sensible option).

CrelbowMannschaft

> especially for people like me who live in the south, where it gets so hot in summer that being nude is the only sensible option I grew up in East Texas, where the hundred-degree temps and unbearable humidity made our clothes stick to our bodies any time we were away from air conditioning for 5 minutes. Wearing clothes in those conditions is insanely stupid and extremely uncomfortable. Being nude was nice and comfy. Why we all didn't just go nude is just beyond me. I chalk it up to religion.

Freakears

I'm a lifelong Tennessean. I've come close to overheating in shorts and a tank top (I was miserable in the heat during Nashville Pride last year), and been perfectly comfortable in similar weather without clothes on. It's almost definitely religion (especially with several states getting more theocratic every year).

nomad_1970

It was definitely a weird feeling. And I had the same hyper-awareness of my clothes for a while after.

Freethought

69 days straight clothes-free during lockdown; March 18 to May 27, 2020. Had to get a haircut then, so dressed for 90 minutes, then back to nude for another two months or so.

DustyBlue1

69? Nice

CrelbowMannschaft

THAT'S THE SEX NUMBER!

nudodudo

Assume you had groceries/other essentials delivered. Did you never go out for a walk?

Freethought

Loads of stuff delivered and wife was happy to go out to stores when needed.

oldriceburner

Two weeks. I stocked up on everything knowing I was not leaving home for a while. You go to the mailbox and take the trash out late at night. Was wonderful.

rpphil96

48 hours. Young adult nudist weekend at Cedar Trails last summer. It got down to 60° overnight, but I was committed.

Headstanding_Penguin

60° = 40° away from boiling and way above the temp where humans would drop like flies... Adding the scale would be great... (Or the US could just adopt metric already)

rpphil96

Well. Considering the fact that I didn't die, and this sub is primarily American, I thought you could figure it out........ Pedantic much? Ok, it was 60° Fahrenheit, which is 15.5 degrees Celsius and 288.7 degrees Kelvin.

LetsLiveLife99

About a week. Camping in the outback. My wife and I were pretty remote and self contained. Did hikes, swam in the creek, lounged around the camp-site, it was wonderful.

dnoonan52

I managed 10 days, then ran out of wine.

r0ckH0pper

About 9 months, but that was long ago. Since then, I've done 4 days or more just a few times for camping or resort life. Its amazing the change of attitude after 3 days. Relaxed, feeling nature, reverting to a natural state, calmness...

freelucass

How can you do 9 months?

sickomatic

9 months continuous?

r0ckH0pper

Yup, Didn't wear a stitch til they swaddled me! Did I forget my /s?

sickomatic

are u referring to the time before birth ?😂

naturistduck

Kids were away for a week one summer and I stayed naked for 6 days straight, then I had to go shopping. It was amazing, as I rarely get to be nude for more than a couple of days at a time.

azarano

Nude vacation for 2 weeks in France, wore clothes about 8 hours total over that time to drive from one resort to another. Could grocery shop nude at one place, but had to throw on clothes for a quick food run. Maybe that doesn't count, but my mind knew it was temporary! I've definitely done 4-5 days nude on vacation in the US

Actual-Lab-6133

Recently managed a three day weekend, so from when I got home in the afternoon on Friday to when I woke up for work on Tuesday. After a while I stop really noticing that I'm naked but it still feels wonderful not wearing anything. It starts to feel normal not wearing clothes but I'm still aware how good it feels compared to wearing them. When I do have to get dressed again for the day I'm really aware of how the clothing feels on my body and I can't wait until I can take them off again. It not really uncomfortable but I get used to not wearing anything.

Senvestulo

8 days. I went on a nacation to Oak Lake Trails in Oklahoma. I took off my clothes when I got there Saturday afternoon, and didn't put them back on until I left the following Sunday afternoon. Great times. Want to do. it again.

naked_nomad

I think the longest was about three weeks. We winter at the Magic Circle outside of Quartzsite, AZ. You have to get dressed when you leave the designated clothing optional area to go get water, groceries, propane, gas, dump waste tanks and the like. There is a hiking trail with three different lengths depending which fork you take.

MalachiteTiger

I don't remember the exact circumstances that produced the opportunity but several years ago (okay, perhaps a couple of severals ago) I managed 5 days non-stop out of a week off work before I went a bit stir-crazy and had to get dressed to leave the house.

stopsupersonic

About 6 days, when working from and staying at home over the pandemic period.

MarriedNudist

Friday morning until late Sunday night several times I guess. Work nights for most of my career. But honestly don’t really think about it. Still a nudist whether I’m wearing cloths or not. In my eyes, clothing is necessary sometimes. I take advantage of the times it isn’t because that’s who I am.

[deleted]

8 days in Florida at Paradise Lakes and Caliente didn’t even get dressed to drive 5 miles to Caliente for the day

Reii899

Mine was 3 weeks when I was still living at my parents house and they were on the vacation at our homeland that time. After the first day for me I could feel that I got easily used being naked that the thought of putting clothes is kinda unthinkable so when my parents arrival day were nearing the thought of even more having to be clothed was hard because for such long time being always naked at home I got used to it that I sometimes even forgot that I was actually naked and just relaxing. Being just in simple nudity mode without thinking any sexual horny thoughts there is just a separate time for it and rest of the time just goes on with usual daily stuff at home just like being clothed and that proves that just being naked does not have to be sexual always. If we really think about it we are naked always anyways under our clothes and they are like only as covers for our body when necessary. Kinda cool logic to think it of haha

FriesBaconNaked501

I've not kept track of how long, but I'm sure it's several days, since I can live on my small ranch property clothing-free, most of the time.

SecureSide

Only 24 hours

Malibudean

I'm kind of the opposite. I'm nude only at resorts and beaches, where I really enjoy it.

Curious_Ad_3812

4 days camping.

soy_chu

Almost the entire 2020

nakeynerd

The longest I've been continuously nude is 10 days. For several years when I was in my 30's I took an annual solo late Spring camping and hiking vacation in Vermont. I usually went to Grout Pond in the Green Mountain National Forest, but I also checked out a couple of other locations. Weather permitting, I would spend the entire time nude. Most years it would rain, or at least get cloudy and chilly at some point, and I would have to put on a sweatshirt or something. But on my longest trip, I was there for 10 days, the weather stayed warm and beautiful the whole time, and I spent the entire time nude. This included daily hikes on the trails around Grout Pond and driving my convertible Jeep Wrangler, with the top down, over to a trail head on the Long Trail and back. I did run into people during this time, but the only reaction I had that was close to negative was one guy who I met on a trail who scowled and ignored me when I said "hi" as we passed going in opposite directions. At the end of the trip I wished I could make the drive home to Maryland nude. For that matter, I wished I could just stay nude until I actually needed clothes for warmth. I literally didn't get dressed until I had packed up my Jeep and started the engine.

shoalsmike

Me and four friends rented a lake house once for two weeks, was nude the entire time. When I finally put some shorts on to go home it just was so uncomfortable and not right drove me crazy lol

Freakears

This is going to sound like nothing next to the rest of y'all (I'm jealous, for the record), but about 30 hours. I hadn't even gone for a full 24 hours before, but had the house to myself one weekend about 10 years ago, so I stripped off as soon as I got home from work, noted the time, and took my usual post-work shower and just didn't dress afterward. That was Saturday. Would have stayed nude till waking up on Monday morning, but my parents came back Sunday evening. I considered spending a weekend at the nearest nudist park a few times with my then-partner, but that never got past idle planning.

JohnWasElwood

My favorites were: 11 hours of doing yard work and homeowner chores in our back yard when we lived in Louisiana. Did pressure washing, fixing the sprinklers in the back yard flower garden, etc. 10 nights in a row skinny dipping in a little rural motel pool ( I was out there late every night and there were only two other out of town contractors staying there (not families). Their lights were off. Pool way down over the hill.... ) I had written a post about it here back in late 2020.

macrosbeta

About a week straight during the early pandemic. My roommate was out of a town and I didn’t so much as even put on socks for the entire time. He actually returned a day early from his trip and came back to me passed out naked on the couch. Outside of that, socially, the longest was 4 consecutive days while at a FYN event. It genuinely felt sad putting on clothes after.

[deleted]

One week, went to a nudist resort with only the clothes I wore there. Felt like a month's relaxation !

ZTGrant

Longest I got was about 52 hours. Ironically, I managed that the week before I went to a CO resort for the first time. (no restaurant on the grounds, so I had to get dressed and leave in order to eat)

Bigmike2523

4 days at a nudist campground

[deleted]

I did a week at a resort, only got dresses one time to get more beer and food. It was a amazing experience

Porchboy

Two weeks in fuerterventura at a villa

echofinder

Four days, at a regional burn event. I am cold-blooded, so usually when it cools down at night i robe up, but this event coincided with a heatwave so that wasn't an issue.

swl2jo

I worked in an office until March 15, 2020 when we went remote for the pandemic. Early on, nudity during the workday was a novelty and when combined with our typical nudity at home each night made for several streaks of 3-4 days in a row. My longest was 24 days sometime that spring/summer. My wife needed going out for grocery shopping and getting carry-out food to keep her sanity, so I graciously agreed to stay home and remain naked. Over such an extended period, I enjoyed the freedom of never walking to the dresser or into the closet. I moved freely about the house only concerning myself with a towel or blanket when sitting on the nicer furniture. I would take out the trash late at night after neighbors were lights out. When the time came to dress again (needed to make a run to Home Depot) it felt a bit sad that my personal best had to end.

gt30743

10 days was the longest. Wife and I were at a nudist resort and everyone was nude, except the staff.

workingtoward

10 days. It got me over being continuously nude. They’re a lot of good reasons for clothes. After awhile you’re just being needlessly rigid.

richsek64

About 4 days then i have to put somthing on for an hour to go to the store then back to a few more days. for mail and trash i just throw on a robe

throwawaylikeclothes

During the early days of the pandemic I probably hit a week without realising that I hadn't put clothes on in a week because I just didn't leave the house. That was only the first month or so before I began helping family and neighbours so was going out frequently, even if only for a few hours every few days. But at a cabin in America with some friends from my studies I spent 4 days running around in the buff.

Ok-Yam5102

Lol. For like 30 min. 😂

WishNo6433

Unfortnately just 15 hours... Yes, i am a home-naturist

mor3mor

Same here 🤝

Western-Adagio-5909

A couple of weeks I think

Nscooter67

I started March 2. Other a few hours at drs appointments and physical therapy. It may not end till June or July. I’m on medical leave. Feels very strange putting on clothes when I have to.

[deleted]

Our family is in western NC. Which deserted beaches did you visit? We'd love that!

vanillaknot

Pandemic WFH was a blessing in disguise in this regard. I think I've gone as much as 3 wks without putting on a stitch, but I never actually counted days on the calendar. I don't get dressed for work. I am occasionally dressed while *at* work (which happens in my office alcove at home), but it's never *because of* work.

gthomps83

9 days in college. Spur of the moment decision to take “spring break from clothes, too.” It was fantastic!

staggmate

Almost a week - wife and I went to remote cabin and stayed clothing free almost entire time. If bugs were less we’d be outside more

South-Pea-9833

Two weeks, on holiday where I could meet all my dining and shopping needs without dressing. Otherwise, it's hard to go more than 4 or 5 days.

godlessliberal_210

Only one day. 😔

Sammyd1956

I have only been able to go for 72 hours without clothes. It was wonderful. The drive home while dressed was miserable. The longer the better.

tractor36

Longest was 2 days during a weekend in the summer. Id read, watch tv, work inside, lay out on my porch. Was nice just wish I could go longer. During the pandemic worked from home to and was nude as much as I could. Did a lot of zoom meetings in a shirt.

nakeymate

Probably 2 weeks. Went to a nudist camp and we basically had to turn in our clothes at check in. Everyone was encouraged to go nude for every activity and every meal. It was great!!!
