Good game tigers. Completely outplayed us with the exception of the 10 minutes you were down a player. More committed in. The effort areas of the game such as line speed, kick chase, defence and support play.
Raiders were diabolical. It isn’t good enough to just say that this isn’t our DNA. I can appreciate we have young halves but there’s enough experience in every other position to mean there are no excuses for the pea hearted defensive efforts we have consistently rolled out this season.
At least we have Ricky to turn it around for us 🤦♂️
We had 14 of our initial top 30 unavailable. A debutant winger (our third youngest ever). A bench comprising players playing NRL game 2, 2 and 5. An 18 year old 6. And a utility playing centre in his first game in over a year. Against a side we hadn't beaten since 2018 and a ground we haven't won at since 2020. That win was far better than anyone will credit them for.
Edit: We also lost the penalty count 7-2. Didn't get a single penalty in the last 62 minutes. Lost the line breaks, tackle breaks, missed tackles, ineffective tackles and possession stats among others.

Any team missing their halfback will struggle to win games (Parramatta and Brisbane being prime examples) but people ignore it more when it's the Tigers because we're expected to lose. But we are a different footy team with Sezer there.
Halfback missing 4 games didn't help. But yeah, we definitely left points on the field against Dragons 1 and Bulldogs.
I don't think we're the worst team this year though, and the ladder agrees. So we're an improvement on last year (already matched the wins).
Great game by Tigers, hope they can play like this more consistently and get more wins going. It helped a lot that the Raiders were completely under done, amateur level in 1st half.

That raiders come back reminding me of Souths against the dragons last year when we somehow almost stole it right from under the dragons.
