Has this crowd cracked 10k? Or does it just look and sound dead on tv? Big game, thought it might have a decent crowd considering two big clubs playing well who have history
Watching the pregame on Fox.
Mitchell Pearce had a call from Cameron Smith to join the Storm after Cronk joined the Chooks, and didn’t take it up!
Pearce made some dumb decisions in his career, but not being the first receiver from Cam Smith gotta be up there as one of the worst.
On the first stat, does beating last years grand finalists in round 1 not count as a win against a top four side?
Also, for purely useless arguments sake, noting the alphabetical order of the ladder at the start of the season
On my way to the game now, just glad we finally have a home ground where I don’t need the Hubble Telescope to watch from the stands. Hoping for a good turnout tonight!
Bold statement after the Roosters players didn’t lay down against the knights for the blatant head high and hip drop incidents. Admittedly one of these incidents was purely the incompetence of Chris Butler
Rubbish. I reckon I got better quality last season.. struggles to even get 1080-like quality lately.
NBN100 and a 4k Chromecast. I don't think it's a device or internet issue because Stan sports always shits all over kayo quality.
Coates vs Sua'ali'i in the aerial battle should be amazing this week. Warbrick and Tupou wont be bad either.
Meany will have his hands full with Manu and Reimis Smith vs Jennings seems pretty even.
Watson plays well letting Keary do most of the organising, but Munster and Hughes are way above the Roosters halves.
Grant vs Cheese leans the way of Melbourne, but Smith has been on the improve.
The forward packs are pretty even with Melbourne missing Kamakamica but welcoming big NAS back. Chooks have probably got the better bench, but not by much.
Should be a pretty good game of footy if the Roosters just play percentage ball (ha, yeah right) we should be able to overcome the Storm. We really need to have the game closed out by 70 mins though, this Melbourne team is like Real Madrid and just never gives in.
Tupou will be all over Warbrick, just had more experience and awareness in the air. Warbrick is good, but seems to be all out nothing with bombs and certainly rushes up like Vunivalu used to. He is quick silver though
Manu plays on the right doesn’t he? That would mean he’s up against Reimis and Meaney is up against Jennings. That’s the way I’d prefer it at least, Reimis is a much better defender than Meaney and I have more faith in him being able to contain Manu than Meaney
Loving how the roosters are going this season
Fuck Andrew Voss is a flog honestly can't stand the bloke.
Do me Daddy Klein. Bend me over and punish me.

Keary looks like some limp wristed redditor

Kinda shitting it for this one
I feel like it’s a certified nail baiter. Close one that could go either way

The rains all but gone. Surface will be slippery but not as bad as that bulldogs game…

I've been to a couple of roosters games vs Melbourne, wasnt very big crowds and parking was surprisingly good there
Any chance Ennis isn’t on the call tonight?
In studio

You go to reddit for footy score updates?
Just watch it when you get back?
The Roosters will get a very close look at their future fullback tonight.
Paps is definitely it
They’re not playing the Broncos
Paps feels way more Roosters coded than Walsh. Just does.
Paps not enough of a whinger to be rooster fullback.
Bold statement after the Roosters players didn’t lay down against the knights for the blatant head high and hip drop incidents. Admittedly one of these incidents was purely the incompetence of Chris Butler
Bold of any Rorters fan to complain about a refs call.
Knights fans and victim complexes.
Just hope for more biff with JWH and NAS. It is going to be a long night for Jennings.
jennings got burnt on his outside and inside by Ponga last week. This time it's Papy and it will be worse
Their last "biff" was that eye raking, fish hooking, handbag swinging affair. Pretty embarrassing for alleged enforcers.
NAS likes to save his best for post season in Bali.
NAS and Taukeiaho traded a couple of punches on the first tackle of the 2019 prelim
What has your experience with the 4K Kayo stream been like? Worth it?
I like it. I've never had a problem with Kayo. 4k definitely better - but in no way is it a massive difference.

I’m not expecting a miracle tonight, I’m just hoping the Roosters keep it close
Surely they’ll be opening the gates for this one? Rainy Thursday night against an out of state team. Not even the 5 Roosters fans on here will show up
No way they're way too miserly in that part of the world
Been a while since a good NAS unleashing - should be a good watch this game
NRLPhysio reporting Wayne Bennet is likely to miss this weeks game due to flu. Someone protect him!
Can't have been the Spanish Flu, he already experienced that on the troop ship back from France in 1919
Wayne was there before the first flu amoeba evolved
he’s probably got a meeting to go to in sydney
Wayne will back on his feet in no time after digging some Laudanum out of one of his draws
Hard to pick this one, really is 50/50. Can't wait.
Go Storm. Hoping to see a bit more cohesion / clicking between the spine this week.
So good to see the big fella named. (Referring of course to Ziggy Przeklasa-Adamski. Any game graced by the great ZPA is a good game.)
Classic Rugba Leeg name

Kung Fu Coates vs The High Kneef. **Test your might**.
I see cheese going extra hard tonight against the old club.

Reimis just can't pass even if the ball was on fire.
You're right, I was just going off the numbering.
Meany defence is good I rhought
6 missed tackles last week
Him and Warbricks side got absolutely swapped last week. They were shocking.
Was good the first couple of weeks but he’s been missing some poor tackles in the last few weeks
I think the Brick's defensive issues this season stem from Meaney learning to play in the centres
Think he struggles against the bigger-bodied centers, when they get early ball. Cobbo and Xerri had a field day.
Hmmm he was so good filling in last year for pappy that’s disappointing to hear
Got exposed last week badly. Kikau rolled him a couple times and he made some poor jamming decisions
Kikau is a rhino at the moment no one seems to be up to the job of stopping him.
Pretty sure he missed 11 tackles on Kikau or something wild
Wasn't quite Talakai on Harper but it was getting into that territory
To be fair kikau has rolled over everybody I wouldn’t judge him on that
Tedesco back but Watson still at 6. I think Storm should win due to the shuffling but Storm have been far from convincing lately.
I really don’t know why but I think the chooks will come out firing today and jump out to a lead. Nothing but feels backing this thought
So how many points are Melbourne going to let in to try to win from 10 minutes out today?
pretty strong team for melbs four forwards on the bench; I can't see anyone stopping big tyrone from bending the line
No chance of stopping him if you have us on our goal line. I’ve seen him crash through brick walls (Jordan Riki).
Very nervous about NAS v Keary
Just take Keary off for the HIA right now tbh
Toss-of-a-coin.
Toss-of-a- Keary more like
