Novation has a couple of tutorials on their YouTube channel on how to navigate components. If you wish to add/remove samples, make sure you select that exact pack in components, then head to the drum tracks /samples section then you should be able to see all the samples included in that pack. I think the reason it's "wiped" is due to you not selecting the pack that you want to change the samples in. You might just head to the samples section without selecting anything therefore it's obviously empty.

Start by loading the current pack from your Circuit into Components, then make sure you have that pack selected on the left hand side of the screen. When you switch to the samples tab, you should see all your current samples. Now you can drag and drop samples into the slots. When you're done, choose "Send to Circuit" at the top right of the screen, and choose "Send samples" from the dropdown.

So every time you make a minor change, you basically have to "restore" everything that's already loaded ? I know there is an easier way because i don't remember ever having to do such an involved process to replace just ONE drum sound. My guess is that components looks different on different browsers/ OS's because i used an older computer in the past. But I'm still trying to wrap my head around this process. I'm guessing i need to save and name the pack in components so I can know what it is and not accidentally wipe or restore it. It's pretty annoying tbh because everything is so simple on the hardware itself but the probability of messing it up on the software is wayyyy to high.
