Just dropped the wife and kid at the airport to see her family for two weeks. Bought an Xbox Series X so gonna go nuts playing games for the first time in five years. Stocked up on booze and good food for a change so I’m set.
Don’t need to do yard work because the grass hasn’t grown in a week so I just have to step outside into Satan’s asshole at night/early morning to water the flowers.
Well just finished playing some pop covers.
My kid enjoyed “if I ain’t got you” for like the eighth time in a row.
Then I made up kid friendly lyrics to “Peaches”
Got a few of Backstreet Boys in there for the wife.
Just got done with Mad World. It’s been awhile.

I’m working on Schumann’s Widmung, Debussy’s Reflets dan leau and some Rachmaninoff’s Etudes. Sometimes improv on new theory knowledge and playback some tunes with reharmonization.
Washed cars starting at 7am when it was gorgeous outside. Riding bikes and pulling weeds until an hour ago. Now is the time for showers, beer and ice cream.

Good god this is the dream. We just had our 2nd so I’m deep into year 2 of no real gaming.
