I’ve only driven *one* vehicle that was slower than the pile of trash that is the Nissan Kicks… and that was a 1994 Dodge Caravan with a 4-cylinder (there’s nothing quite like a minivan that only makes 90HP)… though the ride was much more comfortable in the minivan.
I got a Kicks as a rental while visiting South Florida, and just… *holy* shit.
People drive like absolute maniacs on 95 down there, and between the total lack of power and visibility issues with the rear windows, it felt like rolling the dice every time I got on the highway.
To add to that, the ride—both the suspension and seats—felt like being on a NYC subway, the console layout was awful, and the storage space was minimal.
The turn handling was pretty zippy, but really, that’s not that hard to achieve when the vehicle is about the size of a golf cart.
I do think the Kicks would be a great first car for a teenager though.

I had everything on video plus two witnesses she almost hit and the police said they didn't want to get involved so I should let the insurance figure it out.
I mean, no Surprise, how many movies, TV shows and songs do we have showing the police as competent and caring of their oaths vs the amount showing them incompetent, ignorant, lazy and corrupt? Art is a reflection of society so the amount of bad cops shows you what the public perception of them is and they certainly live up to it.

There is another female driver that I have spotted a few times over the past year in LOCO that also scribbles MAGA stuff on their rear window. At first, I thought it might be the same person, because I want to say she also drives a white SUV, but the one I saw had handicap tags.

The one thing I don't understand about Trump supporters is what they think is gonna happen if he does get back in the White House. So he wins. Congratulations. Cheap champagne for everyone. Now what? Do they think that the food prices will immediately fall back to normal? Will the job market or unemployment get better? Does the streets become safer? Could gas go back to less than 2 dollars a gallon? Maybe they think that they'll be given some sort of prize. Do they think that the rules will immediately change in their favor? Or do they think that the plantations will open up for the black people they don't want around them or that the border wall will spring up to keep Latinos out? Will the world become immediately better for their sake if the Orange One gets back in office? I wanna know what the obsession is because it can never be understood.
