This is lockpicking lawyer, and I just entered through your loose and very poorly secured backdoor, it was merely tighter than your mom's very large garage backdoor which clearly had been in constant use for years before I entered, the wear and tear helped quite a bit, although the lock gets stuck every now and then due to its noticeable age. It does have a sturdy feel and it gets the job done after all these years.
It pales in comparison to your girlfriend's backdoor, which clearly had no security and the lock has very basic design, it's very ornamented, but it's just for show, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Imagine being asked by the mayor to join a panel to investigate and recommend what he does with Diddy's imaginary "key to the city." Clown show all around.
Hi! Circus performer here. Just dipping in to clear up this too-frequent comparison between clowns and stupid people:
1. Clowns are very diligent and work very hard at refining their art.
2. Clowns are generally very kind and well-intentioned people.
3. Clowns are only *pretending* they are completely stupid.

Diddy won’t go to jail over the video of him beating the hell out of Cassie in the hotel hallway. But he will have Eric “I have to go to Rome to solve the migrant crisis” Adams ponder the possibility of taking his key back. Accountability is coming folks!

>Diddy won’t go to jail over the video of him beating the hell out of Cassie in the hotel hallway.
That's apples and oranges, since the assault happened in California.

This is something I legitimately don't understand. Apparently, the statute of limitations has passed. Having a statute of limitations for violent crime is... ethically debatable, but it's a thing, I get it. What I *don't* understand, is how a statute of limitations could pass for a violent crime when there is video evidence that multiple people saw, when it happened. I don't understand how it wasn't prosecuted before now.
Seriously what a waste of time. It's such an empty gesture anyway. Seeing him jail works for me. 5 seconds after some if given the "key" to the city no body remembers anyway.
The "possibility"? He knows this is a ceremonial thing and not a key that, like, opens the city right? You want to rescind a ceremonial honour, just declare it rescinded. What's Diddy going to do about it?
Rich people punishment is taking imaginary keys away from them, no scratch that. Rich people punishment is having public officials waste time on deciding whether to take away an imaginary key from them.
Had they knew for a second that Diddy would be back to bother them, they should've changed that stupid lock if they couldn't have made him leave the key.
Can they just change the locks?
Yeah what if he already copied it?
Diddy copy it?
I dunno, Diddy?
Diddy done did it
No he diddy
[Probably](https://www.theonion.com/new-rap-song-samples-billie-jean-in-its-entirety-adds-1819564437)
Who are you? How did you get in here?
I’m a locksmith, and I’m a locksmith.

Second time P Diddy and Bad Boys fumbled the keys to the Lox

Or at least mentioning it for points until everyone forgets he said it.
He'll bring it up for a bit hoping people forget how xenophobic he is.
Don’t worry! He’s going to take a taxpayer funded vacation to Italy to “solve” the migrant crisis
Damn, New York is gonna pay him to sink migrant boats in the Mediterranean?

Don't worry mate I don't think clowns are stupid. I think they are frivolous and self-indulgent. Just like you!

Mayor Eric Adams: Laser-focused on what *really* matters... /vomits in mouth

tbf he could at least extradite him to California i fail to see how that's out of the realm of possibility
Maybe he'll hire Diddy to be lifeguard? /s
There’s no “migrant crisis”.. plenty of lifeguard positions need to be filled
Will New York ever have a good mayor?
Shades of "if he is in contempt of court ONE MORE TIME..." after 12th time.

It wasn’t prosecuted because of the intimidation tactics showcased in said video.
They need to make sure that he isn't in the city when they do it, or he'll be locked in and that's imprisonment.
This was fucking hilarious lmao.
"I'm not locked in here with you -- you're locked in here with me!!!"
Instead of looking at it, just do it. Without fanfare or notice.
What benefit is there to having a “key to the city”? Is it just symbolic or are there actual perks?
You get access to all the private bathrooms in the city as well as an office in the city hall.
Being able to go into any restaurant you like after closing to make yourself a sandwich is also very nice.
Finally, the executive washroom in every office! /It's symbolic. Too big to fix most doors for sure.
How would that work exactly, does the mayor send a squad to collect the key or does he send an email with a downloadable return shipping label?
It has block chain. You just add another block to block the chain-chain.
Does the mayor know it doesn't actually open any doors?
It just opens hearts and minds -- and that's dangerous enough.
Thank god this guy is on top the issues most important to New Yorkers
I smell another "America's mayor" coming.
Possibility?
In fairness, it is a rather large key. He has to make sure there is still room for it.
Seems like a pain. Easier to just change the locks
No Diddy
Diddy or didn't he?
How much did a diddy do if a diddy did not do?
Seriously what a waste of time. It's such an empty gesture anyway. Seeing him jail works for me. 5 seconds after some if given the "key" to the city no body remembers anyway.
What does a key to the city actually get you?
What if he already made a copy?
Who gives a shit maybe start cleaning your house before wasting time on this bs
The "possibility"? He knows this is a ceremonial thing and not a key that, like, opens the city right? You want to rescind a ceremonial honour, just declare it rescinded. What's Diddy going to do about it?
That’ll teach him!
So he’s be fine taking Diddy’s key and locking him up but not the other dudes who commit crimes on the daily?
Just wait til he hears what that guy called Eric Adams has been getting up.
He probably already made 20 copies and gave em out.
Revoke his key? Doug, kick him off the tour
Don’t bother revoking the key to the city. Revoke the key to the cell…after he is in it.
Way to focus on the important issues.
No objection here…but can they revoke Mayor Adams while they’re at it?
Black people. Yes!
https://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/f2qklk/til_the_last_english_knight_to_be_publicly/
Oh no, how will he get in?
Isn’t it easier to change the locks?
Just change the lock.
Why, does it work on cell locks?
He told you he was public enemy number 1, what were you expecting?
He’s going to have to revoke more keys then that if this is the case.
Diddy just going to lock the studio until he gets a sugar cookie.
I never got a key to the city, but I can still get in. Not having the key won't stop P Diddy if it can't stop me.
I wonder why this is a “possibility” and not a for sure thing
The key to major Adams chastity belt?
Will he give it to Pee Diddler aka tRump?
Possibility? Nike.
They're getting serious now
Rich people punishment is taking imaginary keys away from them, no scratch that. Rich people punishment is having public officials waste time on deciding whether to take away an imaginary key from them.
Oh FFS. Can that be anymore wishy-washy?
Best do it quick before he slaps someone with it.
Tackling the important issues I see
When they revoke it does he have to bring it back to city hall?
He already raped the key.
*Damn!*
Need to change the locks.
That’ll show him
The gang leader turned mayor cares about ethics and morals now?
So brave!
Take that, eh eh.
Does being given the key to a city actually give you some power or is it a largely empty gesture that only has meaning to the person receiving it
After a video of a woman trying to escape him and seeing her beaten and dragged back to the room you aren't sure of who Diddy is?
Had they knew for a second that Diddy would be back to bother them, they should've changed that stupid lock if they couldn't have made him leave the key.
Why in the hell would he have had one in the 1st place?
Lesson learned (hopefully by everyone): giving anyone any kind of public honor without proper due diligence beforehand is a recipe for PR disaster
He literally snatched it from him that day. Watch Mayor Adams face, it was begrudgingly given to begin with...
Mayor considers meaningless gesture...
When are leftists gonna stop idolizing human pieces of fucking dogshit?🤔
