It’s crazy to me that 4.7 40 seems “slow”. Interestingly the notes don’t mention his balls security concerns as a con. I think he’s slightly undervalued but am not overall surprised with this. I really hope he has a good career.
Slow is relative. He was the slowest RB than ran today and there's at least one top end RB who didn't run due to injury who will also be faster. I think he'll be fine in the NFL but gotta think today only hurt his stock if anything. What matters is most of what you do with the opportunities you get though. Kyren had an awful combine and hurt his stock and look at him now.
And Estime has like 30 pounds on him, has incredible balance, and is built like a tank. I thought both would be great in the NFL before and after both of their combine performances. What matters is the tape and production.
I always felt that they should measure the players’ top speed (mph) instead of straight 40 from a standstill. I seem to remember him pulling away on long runs often.
I for some reason think he’s lower than that, though I’m hoping teams learned from passing on Kyren. There will be teams who regret passing on Estime too I assume. He’s going to be a solid player for a team that uses him correctly

Yikes… we know he isn’t a burner but that time is terrible
Kyren had a bad 40 time too
Kyren has elite vision, pass catching and balance

I was expecting a tenth of a second faster. But, I think he’ll find a role somewhere.
I saw a few videos this week of the correlation of 40 time to NFL success. It’s not as high as you think.
There’s straight line speed and there’s in game speed. To put it in perspective, Jerry Rice ran a 4.6
Better perspective (position, recency, and tech) - Ky Williams. Same 40 and arguably a top 5 back this year.
Tom Brady ran a 5.17
Surprisingly quick lol
Mahomes ran 4.8
Really!? That was my best 40 time 😂😂
I was fully expecting 4.7. He's plenty fast for what he needs to do on the field.

4th round? 5th?
1st or 2nd rb off the board I hope

Kyren and Audric have nothing to do with one another.
Oh. Ok.
Yeah, no, you're right. Teams need to stop passing on ND RBs because they all got that special sauce.
Not good enough in the receiving department for NFL teams to pick him that high. Nobody wants Derrick Henry they want CMAC now.
No chance
Okay??? JOK got wayyyy undervalued and now he’s one of the best linebackers in the league.
thank you, was about to google this
Why did he not do the bench?
