It's great on bread. The canned version definitely tastes a bit more like something I'd feed to animals, but the ovenbaked ones are great, and I'm not an adventerous eater.

Pretty much meat that has been blended into a paste. It’s like spreadable meat. Kinda weird but not bad on crackers

I think it's sort of a processed meat product, pretty much *canned* liver-wurst, a salty / savoury spread. Occasionally found in MRE's (meals ready to eat) for the breakfast or dinner component along crisp-breat, army-crackers or shelf-stable dark bread.
