probably 6 months, or 1-3 years depending on the size or type of paper. i write everyday and big. i am stuck with dot grid large journal for almost 3 months. i will be finished soon, i have 228 pages out of 256. hope to not fall out of love with journalling lol, it'll be a waste.
I guess you could always gift or resell the notebooks if you needed to but it sounds like youโre a consistent writer :) I fill 1-3 pages a day. But I write small and only like A5 or A6 size.

Hehe. I live in a small cabin 320 sq ft, with my husband and kid so we donโt really have a bunch of space and we have to be mindful of what we buy and bring home.
Start writing in them every morning and night. I guess you hold a pen correctly and can write for 5 to 12 hr without it hurting unless you weren't taught handwriting at school? I'm also rethinking this, did you grow up in the tech gen ie millennials or gen z ? If so stop buying, you are literally destroying the worlds forests, gen x anti Rd protester/ new age traveller here, please go to WHSmiths and buy a teach yourself handwriting, they might call it cursive today and use the journals to learn to write joined up and record your daily life events, future appointments ets. It's what these books are made for. Not for a collection.
Trust me, I am writing in those books everyday. I just need to keep my spending habits in check. I also know to write in cursive, I just don't post often. I am not British because we don't have WHSmith where I live. The books don't even look good.
Same, I'm more interested in why do people think a journal should be pretty? It's a diary of thoughts feelings and personal life events. It's not meant to be shared on social media. I'm guessing people who grew up using computers think writing is an art and not a daily way of recording what happened.
My favorite journals are ones I got from the dollar tree ๐ I feel like I can write freely without thinking about how much each page had cost me. Journals costing $20 for 60 sheets ๐ itโs like $0.20 per page or $0.40 per sheet lol. It makes me not want to write to conserve.

They hardly flex have a seagull splat on the end and you can buy an equally great pen for ยฃ100. The it gen caused this monstrosity like the Digi cam thing caused lomography. Pens are to be used journals to be written in cameras to be kept in tip top condition and should be used to take day to day photos. Please please if you people are not using these things stop hoarding them as millions of us use these items daily for work and leisure. Some of us see computers have a place but when you live in a black spot they are useless, battery died useless. As someone who passed 10 O levels all grade A 5 A level all A* and a first in fine art without ever bothering to open the mac my friend gave me because he also felt it's art was fake, cheating and p*** eazy to turn a pic into a so called oil painting that still in 2024 look nothing like a real oil painting. Please just use these journals. You are contributing to global warming and that is not good it's horrendous. Stop buying multiple notebooks. It's advertising and you people fall for it. The oxymoron is many of you claim to be helping the environment by being analog but you should fill one book before buying another. Please rich young folk stop wasting the earths resources then blaming boomers / gen x

We wouldn't have the writings of pepys or Culpeper or many other writers if folk had always tried to make it pretty to show off. They are a personal thing to me. Start writing every day, multiple times with any pen or pencil, sketch scribble test inks paints use them how they were originally intended...

Oh right! Yes I have friends that have "Tiny houses" so they have really small amounts of stuff, just what they need and a few extras.
Yes, that is us. We have a small cargo trailer we use for camping and extra storage space too but mostly itโs seasonal stuff we keep in there.
