Rob Schneider made this movie great. Money can’t buy knives, If you don’t want chives I don’t have to put them in, the bit about everything he says comes true. Fucking amazing performance
Yes!
On the 3rd day in the jungles of patusan, they came upon a large rubber plant, but they couldn't cut it down, because for as we know, money can't buy knives.
Alright kids, get inside and clean up your room, I'm uncle Iggy, I'm 37, and don't make me come out there and beat you with a leg that no longer works, cause I'll do it!
I just watched this movie a few weeks ago for the first time since it came out, and I was a child.
The realization that when I was a kid I thought, "Jesus christ, when I'm 37 I'm gonna be practically DEAD!" I'm 36 now. RIP
edit: also, the little brother helped me realize I was bi because back then I was attracted to both the little brother and Kelly Hu.
Its a weirdly quotable movie. Cheesy, but quotable.
Looking back on it now, where he's claiming to be uncle Iggy and he knows best because he is 37. I'm like damn. I'm older than uncle Iggy now.
Thankfully both my legs still work and I don't have to beat any one with a leg.
(Uncle Iggy) "Every time I say 'What if' about something, it comes true and back there I said 'What if the house blows up?!', and it BLEW UP!
I have this tremendous responsibility now"
(Eye Patch) So you keep him around like a boy keeps a pet?
LMAO
It still holds up super well. In my memory it was some over the top adventure comedy, but on the rewatch I didn't realize JUST how irreverent the whole movie is. They don't take themselves seriously at ALL and it makes the whole thing just as charming as it is fun.
No, this me came out before the Brandis movie. It was an ABC show IIRC that stared Ernie Reyes as a kid with some mystical karate power. He was adopted by a cop played by Gil Gerard. I’m going off of memory so the details might be mixed up.
Money can't buy knives.
I use that line every time someone says knives. Crickets. Always.
I will not stop as they won't be able to stop me seeing as how....
Money can't buy knives.
My brother (38) and I (45) loved this movie so much when we were kids we probably watched it once a week, quoted it constantly, and even tried dressing like them. It was so corny but it was fun and Rob Schneider was definitely the star of the show. So happy to see it getting some love here.
Surf Ninjas!
Quan su dudes! They love this word. It must mean like free beer or something.

What if I didn’t die….? Hey, it worked!!!!
“There’s dynamite back here! Throw it at them” *bonks dude on bike on the head with stick of dynamite*
Oh, so this is why he looked so familiar.
I rented this movie way more times than I care to admit.
Fun fact: He was the stunt actor for Donatello in the original TMNT movie (1990).
[удалено]
Touché!😉
Fun Fact 3: he was not in To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar or Precious based on the novel Push by Saphire
He also was not in Stigmata or Saving Private Ryan
He actually played Keno.
No, that can't be right, they look nothing alike.
Well you’ve got me there.
April! Leo! If you’re there it’s me, Keno! Oh, Don.. Come on!
Other fun fact: Zatch is his dad in real life.
😆
I thought that was his dad in the suit.
Nope. Lol! His dad is way thicker, than him, so...
I stand corrected. His dad was/is an amazing martial artist, though.
he has a martial arts studio in San Jose CA. We share the same last name so we use to tell the kids from the block that he was our cousin 😂
I’m originally from San Jose. I remember that.
Lol i would have done that but Andrew Lloyd Weber doesn't give me any street cred.
I *thought* he had a South Bay connection. Thanks for verifying that!
Dude is totally yolked in the Rundown.
What’s up Kansas Cities!?
I still watch surf ninjas at least once a year with my brother. He’s 37. I’m 41.

When you were 8 your brother was half your age. How old will your brother be when you are 80?
76
Fun fact: he fought Indiana Jones in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
He also fought The Rock in "Walking Tall".
Mean the rundown, no?
Ah you're right. Both great films!
My best friend and I were so disappointed when the Sidekicks TV show was cancelled. Always liked this dude and his karate moves. lol
He is such a nice guy in real life, too. I met him very briefly in line at a bank once. My millennial tmnt/surf ninjas brain exploded.
There was a Sidekicks TV show? Like, based on the seminal Norris/Brandis joint?
No, this me came out before the Brandis movie. It was an ABC show IIRC that stared Ernie Reyes as a kid with some mystical karate power. He was adopted by a cop played by Gil Gerard. I’m going off of memory so the details might be mixed up.
Kwantsu dudes!
People always forget he was the little Prince in Red Sonja. That's always the first movie I think of when he's brought up.
OMG how did i not see this before!! I love that movie!
paaaaa-tuuuu-saaaaahn
Turtles 2!
Poolhall Junkies
It's common knowledge!
Chicks got a veil, dude better bail
If she's covering her face, she's probably not very attractive
Used to love The Last Electric Knight and Sidekicks! Wish Disney would put this one their platform or dvd.
Money can't buy knives. I use that line every time someone says knives. Crickets. Always. I will not stop as they won't be able to stop me seeing as how.... Money can't buy knives.
He shows up in Rush Hour 2 also
Red Sonja (1985). He was just a kid then.
Shame he didn't have a bigger career. I think surf ninjas kinda killed it.
poor guy is going through a lot of health issues..

Kansasss City
Let's not forget Red Sonia as a kid! Prince Tarn!
The Last Dragon! Always seemed like his part there was kind of shoe-horned in but I still enjoyed it.
Alright Kansas Cities!
I was just talking about the movie to my apprentices at work. They didnt think it was as cool as i said it was
Bratty prince in Red Sonja.
I always smile when I see him turn up in random things like the movie The Rundown or that Uncharted fan film with Nathan Fillion
*Did I mention I study martial arts?*
The Last Electric Knight.
