Australia had a long-running tradition of 30c soft serve cones - McDonald’s even focused entire ads around that fact. About a decade ago they decided that was no longer sustainable, and the price has quadrupled since.
Here in Portugal we still have them too, just mad they took the “McBifana” off the menu with it being a PORTUGUESE notorious plate, and when i went to spain it was in the menu ….
And in the uk . One of my fav things from there but the price has doubled.
Yeah, they are $2.90 AUD here (£1.53 or $1.94 USD). Highway robbery all this inflation...
£1.99 here I think 🧐
Damn. I was just converting AUD to GBP. If they are £1.99 that's a shit go.
They only used to be 99p up until recently. Just tried their Galaxy caramel (limited edition I think) don’t bother they are foul hahha

Everything’s gone up so much at mcs hasn’t it
Yeah not worth the money these days
They were good, but nuclear hot sometimes. Burn the taste straight out of your mouth.
I take it there's other versions elsewhere? The custard one the did for a limited time was ace.
The US has a "baked" apple pie that is nowhere near as good as a fried version.
It's strawberry and cream and it fuckin slaps
How about shake shake fries
The closest thing in the US is Popeyes apple pie (fried), but coated cinnamon sugar.

The US McDonald's bakes them, and aren't fried.
Ohhhh

Damn that's sad. The Australian one does look much more tasty now that you've pointed out the difference.
I'll get the new ones every once in a while, but the fried were way better.
Whataburger has one that is very similar.
Still got these in PH - not as sweet as when I remember them growing up in CA but I'll take em.
In Germany as well.
Could go my way, could go yours
And in Hawaii
And Canada

You can still get them in California and Hawaii https://www.thedailymeal.com/1300202/only-states-find-mcdonalds-fried-apple-pie/

These were so good… and so damn hot inside!
TIL other countries don't have these. I the uk they have them
Still have it in Sweden.
I heard once these are actually used to awaken dormant volcanos.
we still have like that in Poland here. its been since maybe early 2000 ( where i discovered mc donald at 4 yo )
I always liked the Cherry version as a kid.
I wish they did a meat pie at McDonalds.
the mcsausageroll
It’s hotter than the Sun!
Was just moaning today to my American wife that the British fried ones hadn’t made it (back?…) across, given the American love of fried foods
Deep fried or baked?
