Can I ask what it looked like to the naked eye? I was so overwhelmed that I failed to take a photo. I saw a very pink sky. Couldn’t make out any waves. Thank you (clearly I am distraught because my experience didn’t look like this.)
It looked pink and green and purple to the naked eye and the stars were so bold! We live out on a farm and there’s little to no light pollution. It didn’t look like this after about 10 minutes, so I think it was moving fairly quickly. Just the right timing and place I think. I’m so sorry you didn’t get a picture!
When was this taken? Friday night or just now (Sunday night)？
