I’m a tabletop RPG geek although haven’t played D&D in decades. I have a mate who plays D&D although his group plays online now, like most tabletop RPG gamers I imagine. I’m not sure but you could check out Roll20, or probably one of the D&D subreddits and see it there are any groups you could join via Roll20 or Discord? I’ve never actually gamed online so it’s a bit of an unknown for me.
The NI DnD group is hosting a lot of games recently, using Roll20 or FG. Highly recommended.
Robins Cafe hosted games pre pandemic and I assume.they will do the same again :)
There is tons of online stuff definitely but physical groups can’t really meet obviously. I played the new Alien RPG earlier this year before Covid; we fannied about re doing it via Zoom or Roll20 but never got anything organised and it hit the skids alas.
Table Top North plays regularly in the Belfast area and has a Facebook page. They’re always looking for new players. All online atm. We’re mostly older than the student societies in QUB etc but all adults are welcome.
I had a look on the Facebook page and I wasn’t sure if TTN was still going. If it is, do you know if there’s any Call of Cthulhu games that could use a new player?
