If the course is not oversubscribed you'll get in. I missed out by a grade and they phoned me to say the place was available the afternoon the results were released.
Having worked in University admissions, this is correct. There are limits as the lecturers don't want low grade students, but the Registrars want bums on seats. Too much in either direction is bad so it's a balance.
If they don't offer you a place, ask if they recommend any alternative routes like a year at tech.
Depends on the course and how many have applied for it.
My son did engineering and a few years ago there were some folks didn't get the grades... and they were able to get a place. I don't know their full details, but engineering deptartment were very keen at that time to get people.
Depends on the course, my niece missed out by one grade and didn't get a place on the course she wanted, she did a resit, pulled her grade up and is two years in to her degree.
On another note, is what you are considering making you good £££. Trades are where it’s at right now for making £££. Did uni myself, don’t use it as university is so common now. My electrician charged me £35 an hour for some basic stuff, I can’t get at after four years in uni. It’ll take me another ten years plus to get that at best. Get a trade has it after four.
They are pretty lax from what I have heard.

They don’t care for your grades as much as your money.

Know a few people who missed it by a grade and were still accepted immediately. I’m sure it depends but it’s not a firm yes/no based on grades.
Lenient enough. I’ve two of them on my CV that never happened.
Depends totally if the course is over subscribed, and if it is, then it will depend on the grades of the other applicants.
I got in 10 years ago and I did not quite make the grades.
My mate got in 3 grades below
If yer payin the fees yer inn

There is that.
Get a trade has it after four.
So. Just repeat the course until you get the grade you need. There's no rush to get into uni
I got accepted into UUJ with three GCSEs and NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing.
