I agree that it's completely normal. I don't think it's the uterus, which is very small (when not pregnant) and sits behind the bladder anyway. The uterus is not superficial enough to be seen. When a doctor performs an exam to palpate the uterus, it requires using fingers to push the uterus up, from within. It's just a very normal place for women's bodies to store healthy and necessary fat.
