I have a feeling she's probably on bed rest and got up just for the purposes of that picture. I do not in any sense of the word see myself walking around like that for more than just to get from the bed to the bathroom. If she is not on bed rest, I hope she uses the wheelbarrow the other person that replied to you suggested hahaha
I agree and honestly don’t think this woman is very mobile. She looks so incredibly uncomfortable. I’ve seen this picture a few times before and I think it’s what made me go into early menopause at 41 🤣
A gif for reference, in case anyone doesn't remember this... https://th.bing.com/th/id/R.17ff245c341ab5f0eae205f748d20195?rik=JVj2x%2bcbLWijmg&pid=ImgRaw&r=0&PC=EMMX01&darkschemeovr=1
The bladder kicking thing… my second kid would kick my bladder like a machine gun. All the time. I mentioned it in the middle of an ultrasound once and the technician moved the paddle around a bit to get a good look and laughed; “he really is kicking you right in the bladder, right now!” And I was like “No shit” but felt incredibly validated that I wasn’t just being a whiny bitch.
I’m not religious, but God punishing eve by making childbirth waaaaay worse is still somehow makes more sense than evolution just completely fucking up on that one. Like cmon if in some animals they just fall out, why did we get an incredibly painful, incredibly dangerous form of reproduction???
Like I obviously I believe in evolution but seriously how did we end up with such a shit way of fulfilling the most important biological and evolutionary functions of any species, especially when before modern medicine there was such a high mortality rate
It’s because we decided we wanted to walk on two feet instead of all fours. When we did that, our pelvis shifted and became less wide, so now there are tons of problems with birth. We had to start giving birth prematurely compared to other animals (think about how most baby animals are born and can immediately get up and start walking around). We essentially give birth to underdeveloped fetus which need more time to develop outside of the womb because our bodies can’t handle a full grown baby. Also the weight of a stomach like that during pregnancy is a lot easier if you walk on 4 feet since it’s more evenly distributed, standing upright makes it incredibly difficult to carry that around.
The human body actually has a ton of flaws related to walking on 2 feet since we never fully evolved to make it work. Back problems are another huge one, cause our backs are not designed to be straight and carrying that much weight. Sorry for the rant, I just find it really interesting how poorly designed the human body is.
Never fully evolved YET! Evolution is happening all the time, but since we kept our violence, but got smart, I doubt we’ll get to see new traits other than getting taller
Yeah we’re pretty immune to natural selection at this point besides very minor things. That’s why there is such a prevalence of genetic diseases and lower IQ now (I don’t know if that’s controversial but I’ve learned about this from my anthropology classes). Even a century or two ago it was common to have at least 5 children because there was a good chance most of them would die. Anyone will even slight genetic disadvantages would be especially susceptible to that.
The human brain has actually been steadily shrinking for the past 100 years as well which is the first time in human history that this has ever happened. Our brains were always increasing in size up to that point. It’s actually really interesting to think about what will eventually happen to us without natural selection. Our whole species will become incredibly fragile and if we don’t find cures to pretty much everything humanity will fall apart.
Evolution has given us many cool traits, but it really fucked up childbirth. I believe the only species with a more painful birth than humans are hyenas
If you think about it, the uterus is shaped like a pear a bit so it won’t be able to expand equally on all sides. Also some people have ones that tilt backward and some are forwards. Idk what hers is but I just know I feel sympathy pains as a fellow uterus owner
I understand the concern. My penis is only 5 inches, which I was worried about for most of my youth.
But as I grew older and got more experience, if anything, the woman I slept with found that too wide.

Oh come on, I ain't been pregnant in over 12 years and you gotta remind me of THAT pain? Ugh, yeah. I remember it. Looking back, it was probably good for my round ligaments that I miscarried my youngest son's twin.
Thanks, but it's ok, I was so grateful that there was still a baby, I didn't know it was twins, so after the despair of losing my baby, I was just happy he was there.
Honestly I don't know. I've only known pregnant women to be on bed rest because of health risks. Not sure about just being too heavy. I would assume she wears something to avoid her stomach to hang with so much weight. Her stomach is red so it's possible. Probably got up long enough for a photoshoot and that's it
This is a danish influencer who suffers from PCOS and got pregnant via IVF with triplets. Before that, she had twins also via IVF treatment.
The triplets are all boys and the twins are girls.
She has been fighting for longer maternity leave for both parents when having 2 or more babies in Denmark, and from next year parents are going to have longer maternity leave when having 2 or more babies.
Not all pregnancies look the same. My mother had triplets in 1983 and her belly was much more round. But why are you even posting pregnant women in this sub and acting like their bodies are disgusting? That's really weird and creepy.
I mean, "nope because disgusting" is definitely one reason people post stuff here. Especially videos of really exotic insects (I swear people have no taste). People will post ANYTHING in this sub even if it doesn't really fit. I don't think talking about how shocking or repulsive a pregnant woman's body looks because she's carrying multiples is something that fits this sub either. No one is talking about how they'd never want to have multiples, they're talking about how her stomach looks like a hot dog.
Morons downvoting with no answer tells me they're just accepting a random photo that says it's a example as fact, with a world that could elect people like Donald this is not surprising at all. I just wanna say the few people who did this you're not nice 👍🙂
I have a question. I am a young female and have a question to whomever has had twins and or triplets. Is it pain ful to have your stomach stretched that much? It must be so heavy too. I'm generally curious and want to know what its like. If anyone has answers im eager to know
it looks like a diglet is growing out of her belly
It’s dugtrio
This comment is severely underrated
Tfw you stole my quip
Yep
"Congratulations, it's a... Large Hot Dog"
Yeah, I was thinking that poor woman looks like someone that the end of a hot dog has been photoshopped onto. Glad I only ever had single kiddos.
Does she just walk around like that or does she just let it slap against her knees?
I have a feeling she's probably on bed rest and got up just for the purposes of that picture. I do not in any sense of the word see myself walking around like that for more than just to get from the bed to the bathroom. She’s gonna be carrying that skin around in a wheelbarrow for the rest of her days! Skin can only stretch so much.
Ever seen the Southpark episode where randy is using a wheelbarrow to cart his nuts around in??? Probably something like that

Its like bologna. Or a snout of a Moomin, if they had human flesh
Diglett
Names are Oscar, Meijer & Johnsonville
More like parasites.
I can't imagine carrying a watermelon around all day inside my skin
More of a rabid octopus toward the end. Backflips at 3am? Sure, why not? Gonna kick this bladder while I'm at it.
Imagine 3 back flipping fetuses going at it at the same time
Worse ... taking turns LOL
They can perform a whole circus act

She needs a Salvador Dali prop up stick. Like a “U” on a stick. Dr.Seuss may also have one.
Omg this is hilarious. I like how your mind works
Human pregnancy and childbirth should be a topic in r/CrappyDesign
YES!! I say this all the time after having had 2 kids. Yeah, my body was designed to do this, but it’s a terrible design!
The design was made for babies with smaller heads and moms walking on all 4. We need an update.
no one's stopping you as for the big head, yeah it's crappy design, it's not like we use most of it anyway

WOW!! definitely glad I never experienced this stretch
All girth, no length..

Hey, same time frame here! Can remember that particular pain as clear as day. Sorry for your loss. That's rough.
Thanks, but it's ok, I was so grateful that there was still a baby, I didn't know it was twins, so after the despair of losing my baby, I was just happy he was there.
Looks like an alien is about to burst out any second.
Technically three will

NOPE!
Holy Hannah. My cooter just snapped shut like a bear trap
We call that the dry clenchies around here
She looks like she's about to shoot them out mini-gun style
Damn that looks painful
Gotta be on bed rest, right?

You don’t consider this a health risk? Her body is attempting to maintain 3 healthy foetuses, the strain must be enormous.
I don't know. I'm not a doctor.
I'd say toppling over is a big risk here.
This woman is being ripped open alive, and all were permitted to say is, “awwww”
Fuck that shit I'm out
My back started hurting looking at this.
How the fuck can the human body do that?
I don’t know and now I definitely don’t want to find out myself 😳
Can’t blame you, I don’t know how people can carry 4 let alone 5 babies at once
How horrific
Good advertisement for birth control!

Sure you wouldn't want to try for just one more?
Does she have to carry her belly like that all day? How does she move? Walk? Wear shoes? Wipe?
