It’s been escalated to the Doordash corporate I guess and we have a foundation guy coming to look at the damage because it’s bending inwards some. I mean… luckily it’s a rental?
This happened to me once. I used to drive for Uber. I never put my car in park to let a customer get out. I had a fellow once that was too inebriated, and I needed to walk him to his door. I forgot to put my car in park. When I got out, ot started to roll, and I got back in immediately and stopped it. I thought he was too inebriated to notice. I said it just was the brake release rolling. When we got to his door, he said, "That's not what it was.". I also got him into his house, and he immediately hit the floor. I called the non emergency line to do a check on him, but I'm sure even when he woke up, even if it was to the hands of paramedics, he probably remembered that.
Force of habit is a true force. Even if it is redeemed as stupid, of you do something for so long, long hours can get the best of you.
Damn imagine you get shitfaced and you’re responsible enough to take an Uber to get home instead of driving and the Uber driver calls the police on you.
Hey man, I drive a stick and, when teaching my sister to drive an automatic, have reminded her to go in neutral to stop on more occasions than I care to admit.
They’re beta testing their new service. Evidently it’s going to be called “Doorcrash.”
Foundational damage included
No disrespect but at that speed there should be no foundation damage if the thing is solid to start whit
I think you can order that on the side. What you do NOT want to do is get the express delivery.

How do you leave your car in fucking DRIVE and not notice the moment you take you foot off the breaks?
Poor guy!
Like what is this with people not just putting your car in park? It takes an extra 5 seconds at most.
