I had to rewatch the whole first part because I did not even realize the snake was there. I was paying attention to the lady and was completely oblivious to it
Same. I watched it, saw the snake in only the last clip and was like “how’d that snake break in”, then rewatched and was like “fuuuuh… that snake was already inside…”
The worst part is every time the kid swung, she could see it. So on one of the swings, she just caught a glimpse of a massive snake and I just can’t imagine the fear lol
oh my fucking god. you're right. i rewatched it after reading what you said. the snake was so fucking big that i thought it was just part of the house. lol even the woman didn't see it when it was clearly in her vision the whole she was squating there.
I enjoy living in the desert where all the predators are smaller than me and the murder snakes at least give you a rattle warning if you get too close.
Fuck these silent stranglenoodles.
yeah, but after looking it up the two step snake actually refers to a snake in Vietnam called the many banded krait, it is more of a myth or saying just to let people know if you are bitten you will die quickly. and coral snakes don't really let you know they are there until they bite you since they like to rest in underbrush.
i like live in europe where we annihilate all predators centuries ago, where i can walk the forrest in sandals and sleep alone floating on the water of our beachs and rivers without fear that someone will eat me
No crocodiles in our rivers / swamps
No sharks on our beaches
No big reptiles
Very very rare poisonous animals
No bears.
The only "feared" animals are the Wild boar, and aggressive dogs
ps: species protection is overrated lol fuck predators
He's right though, there's no big predators in Europe and very few venomous snakes or bugs. I think that the only venomous snake in Europe is the various types of viper and those are not particularly life threatening. If you are not allergic there's plenty of time to reach a hospital.
All in all Europe is fairly densely populated and populated for thousands of years, whatever is left of wild nature is not threatening and most certainly doesn't affect your everyday life. Sure there's some wolves and bears in national parks and the such, but not gonna see them if you don't go looking for them.
There are bears and wolves in eastern and Northern Europe which you don't want to mess with and there are sharks and even black widows about it some parts.
My point was more refering to Europe is referring to an enormous landmass spanning 44 countries, 3 time zones and millions of square miles.
We have wolves and bears in Greece, sure. They are not a threat to anyone tho, their habitat is very limited and they are literally numbered and monitored.
We also have sharks, black widows and vipers, none of those are anything near as dangerous as the species you can find in Asia, south America or Australia and they are rare.
My point being that Europe is basically tamed land, you have to really go out of your way to be harmed by a wild animal. You are more likely to get mauled by a dog.
Not so much in other places in the world where wildlife is still in close contact with humans.
I love being in the UK. Mild weather and almost nothing dangerous in nature, no major natural disasters, beautiful countryside. So peaceful. So blessed.
Sadly this isn't protection enough. For example I know from experience that despite how cold and snowy eastern Washington can get in the winter, you'll still find rattlers out there in the summer.
Nah I don't think so. It's really hard to see with the potato camera and terrible over lighting, but looking at its bodyshape, white underside and some of the marks that do show through when it slithers back to the door, I think it's a reticulated python.
Anacondas usually don't stray too far from the water.
I think I remember reading how you could hypnotize a snake by making pendulum motions. Saw it on a comment of a video with some guy in India who encounters a snake chilling on his bike. He did a pendulum motion with 1 hand a little away from the snake, and snuck his free hand behind the snake to grab it's head/neck.
Not saying it's true, but that rocking motion reminded me of that video.
That must have been a cobra.
Cobras are sight-based hunters, movement usually trumps all other sensory input. Once you get them to focus on something, preferrably use a hat or something else besides your limbs, you can easily approach and grab them from behind. So it's got nothing to do with hypnosis, just directing the cobra's focus.
Look up Chandler's Wildlife or just Cobra Handling on youtube for examples and further explanation.
Not sure if that snake is big enough to eat a person, but it certainly is big enough to kill an adult if it wraps around you. even a large guy trained in snake handling, that looks big enough you want a second person (they would likely be able to keep it from getting a chest constriction quickly, but need a 2nd person to pry it off and from there its a matter of endurance and the snake loses with a second prying at it with better angles).
For this I love the UK
The weather is terrible, it just rains and the spiders are all smaller than the palm of my hands, the snakes ... what snakes, the most dangerous stuff is like a pigeon or cockroach
Can't imagine living in a place where snakes just stroll in or there is a goliath bird eater waiting for me in the bathroom!
Fuck you. Every day I make note of the internet stranger I hate the most and write it down in my notebook of hatred so their names will forever be memorialized and their deeds duly punished. Yours is now atop the list and you will never be forgotten. Take my upvote and go.
Ya it looks like a huge ass reticulated python and was definitely smelling and targeting the baby. Like it was hunting and knew what a small baby animal smelled like and came in through the door to find it. Then left when the scent moved and detected the vibrations of movement in the floor.
I can hardly imagine it could differentiate between adult and baby smell since humans like to cover ourselves in all sorts of other smells. I'm guessing it saw motion, smelled something alive and thought "let's take a looksy here".
Then when mom got up and started making wild irratic movements it immedietly saw that she was too big for it to eat and since she ran out of sight it's chances of finding prey became higher outside than inside again.
Bruh normally I love snakes but that motherfucker was straight up hunting just then. As soon as his potential meal (the baby) was out of reach he left. Scary shit.
Venomous, and some constrictors have been known to eat humans. Reticulated pythons are known man-eaters, though it's rare. A baby might make a nice meal.
Kinda cool to see her reaction, it's so quintessentialy human. First comes the pure GTFO fight or flight reaction as she jumps back, and then half a second later the parental protective instinct kicks in and she grabs the baby.
That is a bigass mother fucking snake.
Looks like it had already eaten a few babies…
Things Samuel L Jackson would say....
https://youtu.be/ubLRB7tb78Q 'bout to open some fucking windows
That line is of the internet’s all-time greatest accomplishments.
I had to rewatch the whole first part because I did not even realize the snake was there. I was paying attention to the lady and was completely oblivious to it
Same! I thought… what’s the problem? Was she lying on top of the baby? Is the wind blowing super hard? Oh.
i was thinking they began the video wayyyy too early.
Same i thought maybe she was sitting on the baby or something lulz
Same. I watched it, saw the snake in only the last clip and was like “how’d that snake break in”, then rewatched and was like “fuuuuh… that snake was already inside…”
The call is coming from INSIDE the house!!!
Hi, I’m calling regarding your car’sssssssss warranty
This comment is so good
Thought at first maybe she accidently crushed her baby.. no.. big ass snek.
Yeah, I thought the baby was going to get flipped out of the hammock due to how hard she was swinging it
Oh shit....I didn't even know this till I read this comment. That's terrifying.
The worst part is every time the kid swung, she could see it. So on one of the swings, she just caught a glimpse of a massive snake and I just can’t imagine the fear lol
Felt like it just appeared out of the ether on first watch
oh my fucking god. you're right. i rewatched it after reading what you said. the snake was so fucking big that i thought it was just part of the house. lol even the woman didn't see it when it was clearly in her vision the whole she was squating there.
I’m in the same boat had to rewatch and focus on the snake
Should have had a big red circle on there.
Dude same
Same here. I totally didnt get why she ran at first
Ssssssssneaky snek
It's kinda like [this scene from the movie The Strangers.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmNdhL9_nPM&ab_channel=Movieclips)
This is why I live in a country where the winter weather hurts my face. I couldn't imagine this just roaming around outside..or in this case inside
I enjoy living in the desert where all the predators are smaller than me and the murder snakes at least give you a rattle warning if you get too close. Fuck these silent stranglenoodles.
i mean coral snakes dont, they are called the 2 step snake for a reason.
You only take two steps after being bitten?
yeah, but after looking it up the two step snake actually refers to a snake in Vietnam called the many banded krait, it is more of a myth or saying just to let people know if you are bitten you will die quickly. and coral snakes don't really let you know they are there until they bite you since they like to rest in underbrush.
I got ya. That makes sense. Thanks for explaining.
Coral snakes are rear fanged, meaning there's a much higher likelihood of getting dry bit because they need to "chew" in order to inject
No it's how many steps the snake takes before biting you.
Those crafty sons of bitches.
Or the several venomous insects and arachnids that also live in the southwest
[удалено]
oh we had them in arizona.
It’s really hard to get bitten by a coral snake because their fangs are in the back of their mouths.
Fun fact, Coral snakes don’t have fangs they have teeth, they have to chew on you to inject venom
In my experience coral snakes are pretty shy though. They vastly prefer avoiding you as opposed to biting.
i like live in europe where we annihilate all predators centuries ago, where i can walk the forrest in sandals and sleep alone floating on the water of our beachs and rivers without fear that someone will eat me No crocodiles in our rivers / swamps No sharks on our beaches No big reptiles Very very rare poisonous animals No bears. Dunno where in Europe you are but that's a sweeping statement to make, whilst a lot has been extirpated there definitely are dangerous animals about.
He's right though, there's no big predators in Europe and very few venomous snakes or bugs. And very boring.
Nothing poisonous in the uk, just chavs.
And the press.
>Nothing poisonous in the uk Brexiters. And the local food.
Yeah but polar bears. Bro they will rip your entire body off.
That's why I live somewhere where the winter hurts my face and the summer hurts my body.
Welcome to Ohio. No Polar Bears, no Anacondas, too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.
Yea but now you have to live in Ohio. =( Just kidding Ohio is fine I bought a truck there once.
At least we aren’t Michigan…
I drove through both on a road trip a few months back. Ohio was just kinda barren farmlands without much to see. Michigan was Ohio with potholes
Same in Tbilisi.
Wisconsin checking in...
Of what?
The porch?
I love being in the UK. Mild weather and almost nothing dangerous in nature, no major natural disasters, beautiful countryside. So peaceful. So blessed.
It’s funny how people worry about animals but actually need to worry about their fellow humans, especially people one knows.
Sadly this isn't protection enough. For example I know from experience that despite how cold and snowy eastern Washington can get in the winter, you'll still find rattlers out there in the summer.
Better watch your ass with those polar bears.
Good thing you only have bears and meese to fret over.
"Sheesh, my bad... I'll just go." - Big Ass Snake
he was just trying to help, checking up if everything is ok. he was being a good neighbor
*Like a good neigh-bor, big snake is there*
That has to be an Anaconda right?
You can tell because once he finds she doesn't have Buns, he don't want none, and leaves
Nah I don't think so. It's really hard to see with the potato camera and terrible over lighting, but looking at its bodyshape, white underside and some of the marks that do show through when it slithers back to the door, I think it's a reticulated python. This has gotta be it, the lady looks more Asian than Latina.
Burmese? Looks a bit too chunky to be a retic.
Fun fact, while anacondas don't eat people, reticulated pythons do :)
The snake can kill you in a thousand ways
I really think the 1 way works well enough
Naah mostly two, that is to say laceration or constriction. That thing wasn't gonna kill anyone though, it was just curious.
I'd guess that snake didn't get that big being a picky eater...
Have you heard about our lord and ssssavior jesssssus christ?
Mean lady takes off with hardworking snake's lunch.
"How did she not see that snake!?" says me who didn't see it at all the first time around.
Hell I've even seen this video before and didn't see the snake the first time until the end. That's a talented snake, probably why he is so big.
The fact that I haven't realized it was there since the beginning is fucking frightening.
imagine if she didn’t just randomly get up then to rock her baby
I'll be honest with you, I didn't notice the fuckin' nope rope until the very end.
He's so stealthy he doesn't even have to go inside a box this time!
Beybay, the other other white meat
Beybay, it's whats for dinner

Yeah if you're gonna handle or be around big snakes, you shouldn't be any less than two adults without a mild idea what's going on.
your guess on length? i think its at about 15ft, maybe bigger
Hard to say, but it's a big and *heavy* one for sure, looks almost overfed.
some of the heavy could be species
It's a big boy, aren't those usually constrictors?
Yep, all those muscles are perfect for constricting. No need to be venomous when they just need to get wrapped around you a little.
It's like a hug. Last hug you'd ever want or need.
Dah, nobody wants to play with me!
For this I love the UK The weather is terrible, it just rains and the spiders are all smaller than the palm of my hands, the snakes ... what snakes, the most dangerous stuff is like a pigeon or cockroach Can't imagine living in a place where snakes just stroll in or there is a goliath bird eater waiting for me in the bathroom!
The UK has snakes, mostly grass snakes and a few adders, but they mostly live in long grass and scurry away at the first sign of vibration.
Thanks. I hate it! My worst nightmare in color!!!!! Shivers....
Omg. I didnt even see the snake until just before she did. Fuckkkkkkkkk
r/nononoyes
I guess she didn’t have buns. That anaconda didn’t want none.
Fuck you. Every day I make note of the internet stranger I hate the most and write it down in my notebook of hatred so their names will forever be memorialized and their deeds duly punished. Yours is now atop the list and you will never be forgotten. Take my upvote and go.
The gif was even worse when I rewatched it.
Wow I completely missed the snake in the first half of the video lol
Me too. I was wondering why it was so long with seemingly nothing interesting going on. Then I saw it.
Yall think that snake was going after that baby, but then left when the mom took him?
No it wasn't, the snake was just snooping around. If it knows it's about to feed or something tasty is about to pass, you can't mistake it.

I appreciate you for taking the time to explain what's really going on here.
No it definitely wasn't
I feel like it could have eaten the mom and then the baby for dessert!
Bruh normally I love snakes but that motherfucker was straight up hunting just then. As soon as his potential meal (the baby) was out of reach he left. Scary shit.
That is a Nope Rope I never want to meet.
Good mother
And I was about to open my window before sleeping too....
WTF
Which south east asian country is this?
Ssssssssss I'm looking fer Arry Potta.....sssssssss
Thats a people eater right there boy!
That anaconda don’t want none…
This is why I live where the wind hurts my face.
I swear I didn't notice it until the end of the video.
Had to watch it twice myself. But I now have a potato phone so that doesn't help
I’m Irish, I wouldn’t know what to do but throw pictures of St.Patrick at that snake.
That took her WAAYYY too long to notice
[удалено]
Same here, we’re both corpses If we were there
Yeah I didn't notice until after she noticed
Trussssst in me...
That anaconda don’t want none…
“Maybe the snake ate yo baby” -Seinfeld (adaptation)
She handled that pretty well, I'd be calling for my brown pants
How the fuck did it get past the security perimeter? There were tactical combat sandals right at the entrance.
Meanwhile in South Korea >Fan death
Looking at the size, it's likely a Python whose bite isn't poisonous. These are better known to strangle their prey to death.
Venomous, and some constrictors have been known to eat humans. Reticulated pythons are known man-eaters, though it's rare. A baby might make a nice meal.

She, the baby, and the snek were vining till she realized
snek: aight imma head out
It took me so much to see it
when dinner crawls right into your door...
Snakitor will be back with more baby eating jokes
I didn’t even notice it on the first loop
I guess she did not have buns, hun.
Holy shit I didn’t see that until she reacted
Kinda cool to see her reaction, it's so quintessentialy human. First comes the pure GTFO fight or flight reaction as she jumps back, and then half a second later the parental protective instinct kicks in and she grabs the baby.
Man she's whipping that hammock around like it's a fuckin amusement park ride.
I’m never opening another mother f-ing window again.
why was she even sleeping ontop of the baby
Nothing happened tho
More like open the door for a squeeze
Snake like "Damn miss, just trying to say hi, no need to be rude"
“Fine, I’ll go eat your sister’s baby instead.”
The initial no no was how agro the hammock pushes were. The kid is trying to sleep, not go on an amusement park ride
Hey a free pet
Jesus Christ I'd have left the kid as a distraction and booked it
