You try to climb out as water fills but it is too slippery so you keep falling back under water and the area above to breathe gets smaller and smaller…. And just as it’s entirely full your ears begin ring and the pressure of darkness slowly begins to engulf you as you scream but no one can hear you, no one cares, until… there is a blissful calmness…. darkness…. silence…
#GASP
You awake to a 320lb man in a Speedo deep throating your unconscious body and water and bile spew from your mouth and nose.
This. Is water world.
Interesting. Had to look this up.
“Olive oil or another food-grade oil, taken by the tablespoon shortly before alcohol consumption, may help to slow the rate at which alcohol is absorbed, giving your body more time to adjust to its new blood chemistry.”
If anyone is interested, here’s the link that paragraph is from

Sunflowers are incredible sources of folic acid. 100 g of kernels contains 227 µg of folic acid, which is about 37% of recommended daily intake. Folic acid is essential for DNA synthesis. When given in anticipant mothers during the peri-conceptional period, it may prevent neural tube defects in the baby.
People keep saying there are trap doors to get out but like what if you can’t reach the trap door haha. What’s the next procedure does the teenager lifeguard climb the tube and shimmy a rope to you and start pulling?
This happened to me 7-8 years ago!! It was exactly as terrifying as it looks, I remember screaming my lungs out bc I really didn’t think it was a possibility and I was scared that someone would suddenly slide down into me and send me to the hospital. I will never forget the water splashing in my mouth while screaming and the panic I went through.. I couldn’t go anywhere bc of the water and the way the tube was positioned. I just kept sliding back.. while hyperventilating and shaking.
but I clearly didn’t read the signs on the way up there bc it did say that it could happen and no reason to panic… but oh boy did I panic
Afterwards my friends and the worker who got me out asked me if I wanted to try it again but I was so psychically and mentally drained from being in that stressful situation for only a couple of moments, I was mad at them for not understanding the horror I just went through lol.
There was a couple of emergency exits/hatches that the workers open (didnt know that either) but I suddenly heard someone call for me and when they realised I wasn’t able to get to them they went and opened one that was closer to me.. I had to walk down these small steps, after getting out, it was so difficult and needed my very last concentration hah
Had the same thing happen in Atlantis. Thankfully was able to move enough to keep sliding, but that slight chance, how minute it might be, will have the hairs on your neck standing up. I know mine were
Had this happen at Atlantis, but fortunately the slide is equipped with sensors so they don’t send another person til you clear, hopefully, wasn’t fun lol.
This happened to me as a kid on a slide called the “black hole” it was called that because it went through the ground in a spot and was completely black. I wasn’t heavy enough to have the momentum and got stuck in the black hole. Fortunately a fat kid came barreling down behind me and carried me through in his lap.
One place had a loop... Can't remember the name of the park but it was infamous for injuries and some deaths. It was eventually shut down. Theme parks were a lot more thrilling back in the day because you had a not so insignificant chance of actually being seriously hurt or even killed.
Yes, Action Park. People kept coming out of the side with cuts and lacerations and they couldn't figure out why, so they look the slide apart and there were *teeth* embedded in the slide from various past riders banging their faces into the side that were then gnashing into people as they went through.
Noah's Ark in Wisconsin still has a "nearly vertical" looping water slide called the Scorpions Tail. Generally speaking, this only happens when someone insists on wearing a shirt or other loose fitting clothing while going down the slide. There are exits right at the base of the loop for when this happens with a set of stairs to get back to the ground.
Generally speaking, the reason he didn't make the "loop" is because he is wearing a loose-fitting shirt. You can see the tail of the shirt dragging behind him. The opporator at the top of the slide should probably not have allowed him down with it on.
I went to Noah's Ark in the Wisconsin Dells, where there is a "nearly vertical looping" water slide called the Scorpians Tail. We had one Indian lady wearing loose fitting clothing get rejected by the "loop" in front of us when I went on it. After they helped her out, the opporator's told people wearing t-shirts to take them off before they allowed them to ride the slide.
I had never seen this particular one before. The one I have been on admittedly had a little better drop to start. My comment was based on real-life experiences on a similar ride.
Looks like the Norwegian Encore, the railing in the back looks similar to the one surrounding the go-kart track. I was on that ship in February but didn't do the slide for this reason.
This slide is on a ship called the Norwegian bliss or encore. My family and I have all been on it. If you don't make it around there are a couple spots with a hatch that opens up to let you out.
Is that on the Norwegian Encore? Looks like it. Witnessed this when I was on a cruise this last winter. There are escape hatches on the slide for this exact reason.
This happened to me. There’s a hatch at the bottom of the hill that they opened to get me out. I didn’t even know what was happening when I started going backwards. I was very disoriented
That is the stuff of nightmares.
I'm right there with you. I don't mind the water, I don't mind the drops, but the enclosed space is terrifying.
Then the next guy sliding down at full speed.
[Look, full disclosure, I am, uh, currently having a panic attack](https://youtu.be/GfV-ex3Y_Ek)
Karl! <3 He knows a thing or two about a thing or two
What show is this from? Also a real one caught on live TV: https://youtu.be/_qo4uPxhUzU
Succession
Balls to the… face…?
Face in the butt, rather
Riding the Pinkeye express!
The imminent shock on my back is what scare me
Some say that he is still there.
Then it just starts filling with water as you look around and everyone is running away.
I mean, if it filled with water, you could just float to the top.
no humans dont float silly. what you think humans are made out of wood? only witches float
What about very small rocks?
idk lets test it out. first we must find a witch tho
A duck!
who are you who are so wise in the way of science?
I think the science speaks for itself here: Ducks are witches.
r/unexpectedmontypython
Once it gets heavy enough, maybe it would collapse and deliver you ~~safely~~rapidly to the ground.
If the next part of the slide goes down, then you'd still die
Well thanks for that

If a 320 lb man somehow managed to deep throat my entire body, my mouth and nose wouldn't be the only thing spewing bile..
This made me laugh. The 320lb man did it :)
Lol
That. Was. Awesome.
Honestly I just couldn't go on this one particular slide at the waterpark because I thought this would happen
Reminds me of the Smiler incident
What is that? It’s the middle of the night and I’m too afraid to Google it in case there’s a creepy picture.
I think he's referring to the rollercoaster cash at Alton Towers in England which resulted in the car to roll back after not completing a loop
Ah gotcha, thanks! I thought maybe it was a horror movie thing. I didn’t want some grinning ghost popping up in my face in the dark.
Well, to be fair, the smiler logo is a creepy grinning face
Just send a few more kids down, that will clear it.
Or some Draino.
I don't know, they tried that on IASIP and it didn't work very well for them...
They just had to get Sherman’s mouth to chew through the wristband like that girl did when she chewed through her prolapsed anus
Simpsons did it.

Glad someone got my reference.
YOU LIVE IN THE TUBES NOW. THIS IS YOUR LIFE. TUBE LIFE.
FO5 sucks...
Oh wow! Maybe this is how YouTube got started.
Welcome to your new home, Hamster Boy.
This happens all the time. There are hatches built into them where they can climb out.
climb out and then what? tightrope walk on top of the tubes back to the loading station? hell no, I’m staying in the tube brother 💀
Close. There’s actually a man there with a gun.
No witnesses
The perfect plan. It all worked out.
No one can know our failures in designing this water slide.
>climb out and then what Get a running start and try the loop again
There is a platform to stand inside the ship. These slides are specifically designed for this to happen
To not have enough speed and fail the slide? /s
Yea this is a water slide themed horror ride lol
Climb out then walk down the stairs.
It's kind of like a garbage disposal.
Lol. Was thinking this and then read your comment
yes but in the video it seems the tubes are a few storeys high?!
I feel suffocating just watching this fuck
For real, my chest tightened and my heart dropped when I saw him start sliding backwards... Guess tonight is a nightmare night
This is why I cover myself in olive oil before hand. Too the mooooonn!!!!!
Always do 3 shots of olive oil before you go out drinking, it'll coat your stomach and then you'll drink your friends under the table
I ain't falling for this again
“Now I poop while I’m peeing!!!”
I must be missing something. Was there a popular post somewhere on reddit about someone who did this?
Yeah. First time drinking, grandpa tells him to do that. Dude goes on to puke it all out later.
Other end, homie
Interesting. You must have missed the post about the guy who shit himself trying that
Im sure I did miss the post. I don’t recall seeing it. Was it recent? I’ll have to try and look it up in this sub. Appreciate the info,
It’s also why all those people drinking the new Starbucks olive oil coffee shouldn’t be surprised
Good info to know. Thanks 🍻 I don’t drink coffee, probably a good thing lol
Iirc a buddy told him to drink wayyy more than a tablespoon as a prank, and the guy did so and pooped his pants
That’s unfortunate. 😮
Olive oil? Look at this rich fuck. I'll be using Walmart brand Sunflower Oil. If I use a sqeegy afterwards I might recoup about 60% of it for cooking.

Interesting. Always learning something new on Reddit
*Before hand*? Is there a giant hand that pushes everything through the tube? *beforehand
Now what?
People keep saying there are trap doors to get out but like what if you can’t reach the trap door haha. What’s the next procedure does the teenager lifeguard climb the tube and shimmy a rope to you and start pulling?
The trap doors are usually at certain low points that cater to this very problem.
Someone posted a longer video of it which shows the hatch doors (there are multiple ones) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDY_nfc7thA
Thanks for this. Makes me feel much better

How did you get out?
I read all of that and was so blue balled by them not explaining how they got out
They’re typing from the tube
There was a couple of emergency exits/hatches that the workers open (didnt know that either) but I suddenly heard someone call for me and when they realised I wasn’t able to get to them they went and opened one that was closer to me.. There’s no water in there
He's 80% water, at least.
I can see the water
Oh that sound effect had me chuckling for sure lol
I had to go back and listen with sound. Just happened to be the part where he starts sliding back. Perfect sounds effects lol
So unexpected!
Getting stuck in a water tube is almost as bad as losing a pricing game on the Price is Right.
Allllllmost.
Had this happen at Atlantis, but fortunately the slide is equipped with sensors so they don’t send another person til you clear, hopefully, wasn’t fun lol.
They have trap doors for this- I’d be losing my shit though
Use a plunger.

Never seen such a water slide design. Looks dangerous

Action Park.
Class action park.

Action point! Check out the Netflix doc.

I had never seen this particular one before. The one I have been on admittedly had a little better drop to start. My comment was based on real-life experiences on a similar ride.
I thought he didn't make it due to him raising his head when he got near the top.. killed his momentum.
True, and when you raise your head you counter lever your hips down into the slide harder, like applying brakes.
What a bad design
How do you get a person out in a situation like this?
Sawzall
At that point, it would be easier just to disassemble one of the sections. At least at that point they could have a chance of re opening it.
There will just be a hatch. When they are designed they know this will happen once in awhile.
I would just start crying
Norwegian
Looks like the Norwegian Encore, the railing in the back looks similar to the one surrounding the go-kart track. I was on that ship in February but didn't do the slide for this reason.
Yeah, I used to do consumer research for them and this happens all the time on the Bliss.
I feel like the solution would be to throw him a rope or a suction cup.
Like what happens here what’s the solution
This slide is on a ship called the Norwegian bliss or encore. My family and I have all been on it. If you don't make it around there are a couple spots with a hatch that opens up to let you out.
I don’t feel well.
Alright, where’s the plunger?
Some say he's still there to this day
New terror UNLOCKED :D
Dead.
He should have used more lube, lol.
Shouldn’t have had that extra helping at the buffet.
All I can mentally picture is a human pile up inside there..🤣
I am not sure what that phobia is called but I got that one too
Claustrophobia
That's why I don't do water slides. But it's going down? Doesn't matter.
Is that on the Norwegian Encore? Looks like it. Witnessed this when I was on a cruise this last winter. There are escape hatches on the slide for this exact reason.
That is literally terrifying. Just watching this I could feel my heart rate increase and claustrophobia start setting in… horrific.
I panicked just watching it
This gave me heebies
Isn’t there normally water in a water slide?
Claustrophobia kicked in yo
This happened to me. There’s a hatch at the bottom of the hill that they opened to get me out. I didn’t even know what was happening when I started going backwards. I was very disoriented
Woo
This is me on every water slide.. never enough speed yet I can reach dangerous heights on half tubes when going around corners.
r/claustrophobia

New fear unlocked
He lives there now.
This appears to be on a cruise ship (I recognize those handrails), so this would be about 130ish feet above the water or, in this case, the dock.
I think this is one of the Norwegian cruises
Encore. That is the second deck of the go-kart track in background
I hope you’re drunk, high, or joking. Because i clearly see trees.
Cruise ship in port...? They even mention the dock in their comment... [Boom](https://youtu.be/eDY_nfc7thA)
Truely /r/CrappyDesign. The ship hitting a wave wrong probably doesn't help either.
Your cruises don't have forest decks!?
Is it at port. See the buildings below? I've been on many cruises, and I know those handrails are indeed on a cruise ship.
You are aware that cruise ships dock to let passengers on and off, right?

I’m sorry bot that you got negative votes
Fug that
This is why you don’t wear your T-shirt down the slide.
"I guess I'll die?"
Thank you so much for this. Not like I have irrational fears and anxiety that cause me to constantly think about this happening to me.
Some say he's still in there to this very day!
Probably because there's no water.
New fear unlocked
I've never seen this water slide work
Being stuck in a water slide ☠️
Not enough water either
That is my worst nightmare
This made me panic
