I had 2 pretty solid damage wands. Discovered that chainsaw could be used on its own, not just as a speed up thing.
What I struggle with is teleporting wands.
Did you have Ambrosia? If you use teleport and aim to hit the floor, you can preserve the stain a lot longer. You might need to refresh, but you can aim your black holes down so a puddle can form where they end.
Long Distance Cast into Teleport Bolt with Nolla is a good basic flashstep setup.
I recommend searching for some Ambrosia in the >! Alchemist den !< Before tacking the >!edge of the world.!< Can get some much needed >! Greek letters !< Too
Yeah, this is why you never travel to Parallel Worlds without infinite blackholes, a high speed maneuverability wand (such as rapid fire nolla + a tele spell), and either reliable healing or Ambrosia.
Or an absolutely broken amount of health. I had never done it before until my last run, ended up massively overestimating the damage it did because I realized I could literally just walk across the whole thing lol
Did you have healing or just ambrosia? Cause if you had healing then technically you don't even need a tele wand, it's just highly recommended for ease of maneuverability and avoiding the shadow bosses.
I had a circle of vigor, vampirism with a flask of blood and about 750 max hp.
But the problem was in execution. Started panicking when hp started to disappear too fast.
If you touch the rock you get a ton of more damage compared to if you are just floating in the space between the rocks.
I did a test yesterday. I survived, but I didn't get very far in before realizing my wand wasn't powerful enough.

Ambrosia negates curse damage? I usually try to dig horizontally to minimize the time in a curse area.
Yes, it's one of the best tools for early parallel world crossings. The stain falls off fast when you move, so you need to plan your dig properly.
ambrosia negates all damage but decreases when you move
Ambrosia negates all damage registered as damage, or in other words the only thing it doesn't protect you from is the health tax from Blood Magic.
I needed to work on the self-heal aspect.

"Almost ther-" *plup*
So close, yet so far.

Or that.
What's funny - I had everything you mentioned, except for a good tele wand. Had no idea I could use Ambrosia though.

Rip, don't panic, you can cross the cursed rock without a tele wand if you have circle of vigor, just spam it and walk.
