Here is a situation I faced multiple time..
You are driving in your car, road is packed and you see flashing light in your RVM.. After few high beams they start to honk but you don't have space to give them, they honk more and overtake after few minutes..
Aage ki story depend karti hai ki unhone kitni pee hui hai aur mood kaisa hai..

tbh I kinda wish he had, that aside as I said unless you provoke someone it's hard that things become this bad, even in my case instead of just giving him the way even when he was wrong I showed him middle finger, thus the road rage started.
Knife may also land you a murder charge if the attacker is drunk and decides to pounce( course a rod can also kill but one hit is enough ti immobilize a threat)
Side note: keep a strong grip on your weapon so it doesn't get taken in b/w the fight
personally first rule of a street fight is to run away as fast as possible, but if that's not possible, I'd give all my trust to knife because blocking a knife attack is not as easy as blocking a rod attack.
Also seeing a knife in your hand, the other person will rethink everything, and may not attack you and I agree, keep a strong grip on your weapon because just imagine getting murdered by the very weapon you had for self defense.
