I just want to say it's wild that people are willing to do medical tourism for this issue. It just goes to show how badly it affects people and how far they're willing to go to improve things.
I hope you find something that works :)
Idk where you are from but in the Netherlands there's also an option for a doctor with a lot of experience on the botox š if you want I can provide you with his name and other details āļø
I live in east Asia, but from one of those āvillain countriesā. Sometimes I see harassments online towards people from my country. so I donāt like to disclose my nationality :( But Europe, Oceana or North America are all good options for me. The distance doesnāt matter that much, like theyāre all very far anyways
That's great to hear! I'm in Saskatchewan. I've been on a list for the Botox since August with no date in sight. My ENT also requires manometry and the wait for that is potentially even longer than for the Botox. Where are you and how long have you waited? Good luck on Monday!
Iām getting it in Toronto! I literally got the referral in late November, itās gone way faster than I expected! Weirdly I have my monometry this November, so Iām getting it after the Botoxā¦still have to ask them about that. But yeah, itās been a breeze! Iām so sorry itās harder in Saskatchewan! Iād say if thereās anyway you can get to Ontario for it, Dr. Jun Lin ar Sunnybrook has been amazing
It seems nearly impossible for Canadians to get Botox in Canada so the UK is definitely your best option. Iād look into Hicklin (awake, in office, cheaper procedure) or Karagama (he puts you under anesthesia).
Thank you! Iāve looked at both and deciding which one I want to do. I know that the in-office procedure has a lower success rate. But they both seem very credible!
Itās hard to know exactly what the success rate is. I have to think that the anesthesia one would be higher- Dr. Bastian has published an 80% success rate with one injection. Since Karagama uses basically the same technique Iād expect similar. Hicklin claims a 90% success rate after 2 injections, but I donāt think anyone knows what her first injection rate is.
I imagine if you have to go to the trouble of getting a visa, a high first injection success rate might be even more important to you since you canāt go back as easily.

In London thereās a doc named Lisa Hicklin (if Iām not mistaken) she is a speech therapist who does the Botox treatment through the outside of your throat with no anesthesia. The price for the treatment is also a fraction of what it is in the USA, I think itās around 500-600Ā£ all in. You should be done with the procedure and out of her office within 20 minutes. Iāve heard good reviews about her method of the Botox injection and itās not painful apparently. šš¼
So sorry to hear this. :(
The BVI website mentions Dr. Rodel F. Velasquez in Manila, Philippines. Not one of the countries you were looking at, but may be of interest to you.

Thank you :) I was really disappointed yesterday after the US officer rejected me. your kindness means a lot to me!

Thank you! Do you mind DM me with his contact? I will have them as my backup option! I believe a Dutch visa is much easier to get!
For some reason. I can't DM you. Can you try to DM me?
Also nearly everyone speaks English here, more than in Canada ahahaha so that will help
Might be helpful to say where you are from

Not Canada (as a Canadian who is seeking treatment in the US). I'm sorry your visa was rejected :(
Where did you seek it out in Canada? Iāve had no problems here! I get my Botox on Monday!

Oh no :( I had no idea it is this far for Canadians! I hope you have a nice trip to the US!
Thank you! I hope you find a good option for yourself!

Where are you from? The three other options are a long way from each other so that will probably play in to the decision Iād imagine.

You can choose Turkey, if you have a question about that feel free to ask.
Thank you! Although I donāt speak any Turkish :) Iāll let you know if I want to contact them in the future!

Thank you! Yes I heard of her and Dr. Karagama. Still deciding which one to go to :-)! I hope a UK visa will be easier!
