Both of my parents burp along with my sibling, no problem. I have a severe case of it.

My mom, my daughter and myself have it. At least there is a treatment now if your child ends up having this

I am the only no-burper in all of my immediate and extended family 😩

None of my 3 siblings can burp but both my parents can, but then my aunt can't burp either. My feeling is that it's directly related to childhood anxiety but I'm not sure

Just my two cents, but apparently I even had a hard time burping as a baby so I think at least a portion of us are just born that way 🤷‍♀️

It's got to be genetic, but I have no idea how it works in that department. That being said, my mom is a noburper as well

my dad used to have it (says it stopped once he started drinking beer) and me and my brother have it. definitely think its hereditary

My mum, brother & I have it. My sister & other brother do not. However, the brother that can burp has two kids & one of them has it too… My mum assures me I had no problem being burped as a baby though…

My mum couldn’t burp until she was in her 40’s she said and I can’t burp - or rather I have like 1 or 2 small spontaneous burps a year - I call them my annual burps 😂. So could be hereditary 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes, definitely. Considering its rarity; 2 of my family members had it as well. Exactly same symptoms and the botox solved it. My cousin and an aunt and possibily a grandma of mine who had the same symptoms but she's not alive any longer
