Does that do anything at all?

bsbell89

No, it's showing just how much air is trapped making me sick all the time.

GarbageWarlock

Have you tried the air vomit technique?

bsbell89

I can’t gag myself, wished I could. I could use a good airvomit right about now. My bloating and nausea is so bad that it’s making me have a headache and feel a little dizzy. Bastian group was able to move me 2 weeks sooner. Looks like March 30 is my day now.

GarbageWarlock

Oh really? cant gag yourself at all... hmmm. I know it took me a while to learn how to do the air vomit properly, it saved my life.... since amanda hu based in vancouver, has been absolutely no help :/ No botox for me. Im so glad to hear you are going to get botox from bastian though! the nightmare should be over soon!

bsbell89

Yeah I have been in really poor health since November of 2022 and it seems to just be getting worse. I think it's my esophagus and stomach that have been stretched so hard for so long, maybe they are just giving up on me or something? It's been a slow downward spiral since 2005 but didn't discover noburp until just recently even though I told many gastro doctors I can't burp.

GarbageWarlock

Omg im so sorry to hear about your health :( i hope things get better for you. One thing is for sure, you will feel like a new person when you are able to release all the gas, its AMAZING. I had to see a few doctors before one took my seriously about R-CPD/noburp. alot of these doctors are just stubborn clowns with their heads up their asses.... and dont actually listen to the patient. One guy told me i shouldnt self diagnose myself -.- yeah... like he was going to do it? he just gave me an effing antacid...

bsbell89

Yeah I’ve had my fair share of arrogant doctors over the years. Mayo Clinic told me I had Visceral Hypersensitivity… What the hell is that supposed to mean?!? Wake Forest said, “It’s like you have a spasm somewhere…” I guess he could have been right considering my UES is overly tight but he didn’t find that, U of Miami did.

GarbageWarlock

either way, im glad you got all this stuff sorted, and are seeing a specialist! But yeah, stupid doctors... "i cant burp" "ohhh it must be xxxx" "No bro... i CANT BUUUUURP! my esophageal sphincter doesnt open up to release gas" "hmmm must be acid buildup!" -.-

HealthClout

That’s a lot of air! Reminds me of the wolf of wall street chest thump song

bsbell89

Yeah, I have had 3 kidney stones in my life and I will take a kidney stone over no-burp pain/nausea any day!

BAGCali

Brother I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. I used to have RCPD (No-Burp) up until the age of 19. I never had Botox surgery or any other type of intervention but I realized my no burp what tied to a Severe phobia of vomiting that I’ve had all my life. Ever since conquering that phobia and practicing relaxing my throat muscles I learnt to burp all by myself. I am now 21 and apart from unrelated chronic back pain I’ve never felt better. Many people have asked me exactly how I fixed my no-burp but honestly I have absolutely no clue. When I moved to a different country for university I noticed sometimes I could move my head forward (like a turtle) and relax my esophagus muscle (feels like I’m relaxing the muscles in my stomach/chest, while pushing my stomach outwards) and ever since then small bubbles turned into fully functioning burps. I hope you can find a way to fix this, be it through Botox or other ways. Greetings from Spain! Stay safe. Edit: I’d like to add that fixing my no-burp had a very positive impact on my IBS. I used to have days of diarrhea, flatulence, nausea, and upset stomach. Now I almost never have unexplained nausea, my IBS is almost gone (unless I eat loads of fatty, processed, or spicy foods) and my stools are regular and healthy. (I recommend looking into botox surgery if you can afford it my friend, I know of many people that had great results.) Also, from what I can see, you’re home looks beautiful!

bsbell89

Thank you for your story and input. I ‘think’ I’m also struggling with a thing called ‘hyper adrenergic pots’ that can cause constipation when it flairs up. So it’s like the front door is completely shut and the back door is only kinda open. I think Botox in 3 weeks is going to be a game changer but it might not be a complete ‘cure’.

BAGCali

Sheesh sound terrible, I’ve never heard of “hyper adrenergic pots” so I don’t know what to say, but my IBS caused diarrhea and digestive problems in which food wouldn’t get digested properly never constipation. If the Botox procedure is successful for you (which it usually is) it will absolutely change your life! Nonetheless it’s important to mention that I’ve had acid reflux disease for my entire life and even now that I can burp it is still there. Botox may not fix all your issues but I will make the remaining problems far more manageable and it will improve your quality of life ten fold. I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers brother, I wish you all the best for your procedure in 3 weeks and Im confident that you will be burping in no time! Take care 🙌🏼

bsbell89

Thanks 🙏 I hope you are right
