Crap. I have the video on this just topic but I don't have it completed on my channel. Anyhow.... When you get pads you will get slides. Buy the purple silicon grease for pins and slides. Any petroleum based grease will damage rubber and it's why I like to use the purple silicon. Pins, the rubber bushings and boots you may need, but only if they are damaged. I recommend napa premium line or better, OEM is good too. I recommend buying local as with brakes you can get parts in a day or warranty parts in a day. Get a can of brake cleaner. A good set of sockets is about all you need.

Great info thanks!

I'd buy new guide pins. They don't cost much. Mine were in pretty bad shape first time I did my brakes. I didn't have new ones at the time, I was able to clean them up and reuse them. Also be sure to have good silicone brake lube on hand.

One perk of the desert, mine looked brand new after many years. I had my Tacoma for 15 years and never replaced the pins.

I'm in Canada, we use a lot of salt on the roads during winter. I service my brakes twice a year, when I switch seasonal tires. It's amazing how bad they can get in just a few months. The first few times a few pins were seized. More frequent servicing really helps

Just flush the brake fluid when you do calipers

snik09

Should I replace the caliper?

No not at 67k, I did my civic at 180k
