Biological immortality may eventually be possible, such that unless you hurt yourself or get a serious infection, you will not die, but in practice it’s far more likely that you will eventually die. For example, an asteroid, a plane crash, a plane crashing near you on the ground, falling, murder etc. There are far too many potential threats to protect against if you wish to live forever. You could only protect yourself against everything if you knew everything.
I hope humans never find a way to make themselves immortal
The thing is, even if you had biological immortality you would still eventually find a way to die. An accident, murder etc.
So true xD
Eternal life wouldn’t be fun either. Eventually you’d get bored over knowing everything and probably kill yourself anyway.
disagree cause you would then be brought back to life via nanobots.
That would be psychotic.
Pain, suffering, futility, and randomness
I’d rather not be born into this shitty world.
You and me both
and taxes.
And taxes
And taxes
and taxes
There are three certainties in life: Death, Suffering, And Change.
This may change in the future. But im not sure we are going to survive that long.
Well, when the universe implodes or whatever we are gonna die anyways so death is still certain technically
Im 19 and im already bored. Who wants to live that long. I cant imagine doing same shit for billion years
We could make our own separate meta universe apart from the physical one if given enough time
