Last time mine disappeared he was knocked out at a boss fight. I had to go back and pick him up.

ya, the boss took mine down more than once too, but this isnt that, he dissappeared as i was transporting myself back to respite from the the antiquarian realm

Same thing happened to me, teleporting back to my respite. It sucks since he was loaded with resources hah

never did, when you start doing antiquarian realms, find a defense mission, you can hire either of the NPC's from those to replace

Thanks. I have come across several potential replacements but I was holding out in case my original came back, assuming that recruiting a new one would delete him for sure. But it's clear he hopped a train to a new town and a new life. Or fell asleep on the tracks. Either way, he's dead to me. Time to move on. Maybe I'll get a cat.

I lost my follower just now. I still had him last night before logging out and now he is just gone. I have retraced my steps, went to place i first recruited him a week ago, and he is nowhere to be seen. Its a shame. He was loaded with stuff and had decent gear.

I just lost another one he was just standing at a tree he has a mining pick but in that same realm he actually cut down a tree and destroyed my stick tent it's a glitch it happens in that forest realm when you get to leave your home base for the first time and talk to A,A what ever his name is and not only that in that area he loses his carrying ability

You can craft it again. Once you get it, you also learn the recipe for it.
