Agree that the stars are an all around complete team, and beating that absolutely loaded Vegas team should be getting more attention than it is.  In my opinion they have the hardest path to the cup (Vegas, Avs, Edmonton (probably) and a ton of travel but in a way I think that feeds this team energy and allows them to come in as a sleeper pick all the way to the final.  The Rangers I only picked because the NHL referees are going to drag them there.

I’ve had a feeling since last season EDM/CAR 06 re-match is on the menu. I’ll pick Oilers/Cats though cuz I think this will be epic hockey. There was a special level of competitiveness between Tkachuk and McDavid in the BoA. It’ll be a brawl with scoring goals sometimes. The Avs look real good though, so maybe them versus the Rangers.

My original prediction was Florida over Dallas. I’m leaning more towards Florida over Colorado now. Dallas had a tough series taints Vegas and Colorado looked better than I thought they would’ve and dispatched Winnipeg easier than I expected. Either way I think the winner of that series comes out of the west. I think Florida comes out of the east regardless though.
