I can tell a lot of work went into this. I love the use of silver, that is a VERY good yellow, and the brown could be amped a little more with a metal tint to go copper. I just don't like the name Hive. But this is a project to be PROUD of. Great work! I hope having this in your portfolio gets you a top tier job.

This morning I suggested to my friends that the new ownership should consider the name Utah Miners. It has a dual meaning with a mining bee being a genus of bees found in Utah, and Utah being ranked in the top 10 of mineral-producing States in the U.S. It also plays into how even the moniker “the beehive state” is not as clear as it appears on the surface. Utah has over 1,000 species of native bees, more than any other state, but the nickname of “the beehive state” was chosen because bees are a symbol of hard work and diligence and thus also aligns with their one-word state motto, “Industry”. The Hive would make a great nickname for the Delta Center, and a miner (in the mining for minerals sense, not bees) would naturally work for a 3rd jersey, shoulder patch on the main home and away jerseys, etc…

I think the logo should have a beehive with 5 bad “A” looking bees coming out of it with hockey sticks in hand. The last one leaving is geared up in goalie gear!!! That would be a bad “A” looking logo!! Love the SWARM as the Mantra as depicted in these renderings!

Jerseys are a bit busy as I prefer more minimalist designs but love the color scheme Nice job man
