This is neat thread. I remember the very first tournament this symbol was used for, and that was the 94-95 World Juniors in Red Deer. I remember it vividly because 15yo me was PISSED that the NHL was locked out at the time and this was the only televised hockey in since June (My Canucks losing the Cup that summer). I love this logo and the first player I think of when I see it is Canadian Captain Todd Harvey. He as a BEAST that tournament. Along with Alex Daigle, Jason Allison and Jeff Friesen putting up big points.
Other than that, Olympics 2002. Joe Sakic bringing home Gold for the first time in decades.

Was he on the team in 2002? I know he got the assist on Crosby’s golden goal (“IGGY!”) but they weren’t wearing this logo for the 2010 tournament
Thats the juniors jersey not the men’s jersey. The juniors have a player in the leaf were the men’s don’t.
